Ngwakwe:
I promise to be a nemesis to your campaign to get Buhari the anti democrat near ASO Rock

Why was Buhari absent at the Oputa Panel, was he afraid?

Have you forgotten the case of the 23 Suitcases! Was the corruption a favor for the Emir of Gwandu in 1983-84? Don't forget Atiku Abubakar resisted the delivery until the Despotic Buhari ordered the release

No amount of media packaging can take brand Buhari to Aso Rock.

I wish him more tears.
All I see in your blabbing about Buhari is just HATE. When it comes to the Zoologist, we all point to facts to show his incompetence. Stop hating.

ok ,using your analysis where would Buhari be more effective in as a retired army officer ?
think man think !
Buhari was an excellent Soldier. A great commander. Dealt with Chadian Army that invaded Nigeria. Dismantled Maitatsine Sect. He was also a great Head of State.

Jonathan holds a PhD in Zoology, he stands a better stand to Preside over a Zoo and help in protecting endangered species.

Maitatsine was a Jihardist that tried what Boko Haram is doing today!
Buhari has called for Governement to stop killing Boko Haram!
To host them in aso Rock and give them the same treatment as Niger Delta militants.
Boko Haram named him as one of their representatives.

So what are you trying to say?

Buhari has become more of an Islamic commander than a patriot if he was ever one.
We cant forget his support for total implementation of Sharia across the 36 states.

Buhari will never rule Nigeria again.
As everyone can notice, you can't point to any tangible fact to support your clumsy campaign against Buhari. You are just throwing lame words looking for who to deceive.

It is on record that Buhari destroyed Maitatsine and chase away the guys that inherited his post. Till date, nobody goes by that name again.

Boko Haram and their sponsors from the Coven know very well that Buhari will not stand ideal and watch SheCow running around killing Nigerians.

For me to support buhari what are his sterling qualities as a person?
- He tolerates people of different religion from him.
- He is not corrupt and also fight corruption.
- He and his party wants states to have more power and benefits from the resources that they can generate.
- He is a very candid person. If he say a thing, that is what it is.
- He give his deputies the privileged to bring in their creativity and ingenuity to the positions they occupy.
- He is law abiding and encourage others to do the same.
- He have a very distinct track record of excellent performance in anything he do.

Below are what others have to say about him:

General Muhammadu Buhari as a member of the Supreme Military Council and as Head of NNPC was by nature
taciturn and introvert. But he took any work that was given to him very seriously. He is reliable as he is hardworking and honest, his path of moral probity and rectitude”
– President Olusegun Obasanjo (in his book, “Not My Will”)

“Buhari was a big brother & a father to some extent that mean nothing in life & to the nation always other than good. So, I fear no harm from him.“
– LATE YAR‘ADUA.

“Buhari was honest & sincere in all his conduct that perhaps, only very few Nigerians could match in integrity.“
–GEN. ABDUSSALAM

“Gen. Muhammadu Buhari was a true patriot, respected former head of state & elder statesman & a nationalist.“
-PRESIDENT JONATHAN.

“I have realise our collective mistake in over-throwing you. I have seen the terrible damage which our inaction caused to the Nigerian psyche. I am most sorry. Please, come & do what is best known of you. Patriotic service to the nation.“
– LATE ABACHA (PTF inaugural speech).

“If Buhari quit PTF job as he promise & as we knew him to mean his words all along, I support the idea of scrapping PTF as no one else can do the job as him." – IBB

"I respect Buhari. He was my Boss .He was an honourable man. And I can say this anywhere”. - General Ibrahim Babangida.

Boko Haram and their Sponsors know that Buhari will crush them out of existence. That is why they are running a clumsy campaign of lies against him. All those accusing Buhari have not presented a single shred of evidence against him. For 5 years in power and in charge of all Security Apparatus, PDP still cannot find any tiny evidence against Gen. Buhari.

Nigerians can continue with a Jonathan that sees Boko Haram as a business opportunity (inflated security budgets, 1 billion dollar Loan, $15 million South Africa Arms Snuggling Express, Propaganda tool, etc) - Or vote Gen. Buhari who have proven time and again he will crush terrorists irrespective of who they are.

Had his coup failed, Buhari would had been executed like the common criminal he is!

He is a defender of Boko Haram who campaigned for them to be hosted in Aso Rock and paid some money like Niger Delta militants.

Any body who defends a defender of Boko Haram like Buhari, may the blood of the innocent victims of Boko Haram be on his head.

So where are the following funds factored in:
- The over 1 trillion naira looted in the name of Subsidy payment in 2011 alone.
- The Funds looted from the Police Pension Funds.
- The loot from the 1 billion dollar loan.
- NNPC $20 billion stolen money.
- The $15m that was looted to SA.
- Inflated Budget money
- All the offshore accounts
- 15 to 25% Contract kickbacks
And others.

And will Abati still ask them to reduce it or now that the money is far less than the actual loot, he will laugh and ignore them?

The END Of Maitatsine
After Maitatsine’s death, his defeated followers took his body and quickly buried it. However, the exhausted Kano State government would have none of that. The soldiers got a tip-off of the location of the shallow grave and an order was given that Maitatsine’s body be exhumed. His grave was cleared up and his corpse was brought to the surface. It was then embalmed and presented before the Commission of Enquiry.

Jubilant police officers even posed with the corpse. What followed next is as dramatic as it was puzzling. The government was so determined to crush anything that left of Maitatsine that his corpse was set on fire. He was cremated. Today, his ashes, badly-burnt teeth and bone fragments are safely sealed away in a bottle at the Nigerian Police laboratory in Kano State. In a corner of an unused, dark and dusty room that reminds one of an evil dungeon, lies Maitatsine in a bottle. On the specimen bottle, is an official seal and an inscription that goes thus:

“The remains of Late Malam Muhammadu Marwa alias Allah Ta-Tsine or Maitatsine.”

How Buhari Wiped Our Maitatsine Sect
The then military head of state, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari responded with a deafening ferocity. He literally moved in his forces to wipe off the sect from existence with the same ruthlessness that he pursued Chadian forces under President Shagari. Under Shagari, Buhari was the General Officer Commanding , 3rd Armoured Brigade, Jos, Plateau State and played significant roles in containing the Maitatsine sect.

Buhari flew to Yola and oversaw the military wipe out the sect (his popular vice, Idiagbon was out of the country). Buhari then vowed that Maitatsine would never sprout again. Actually, he dealt the sect a very severe blow. When Musa Makaniki, the new sect leader, fled to his hometown in Gombe, Buhari’s forces gave him a hot chase.

After their strings of ‘victory’ in Borno and Gongola States, Maitatsine launched another strike in the Pantami area of Bauchi State (now in Gombe State) from the 26th to the 28th of April, 1985. Before the security forces could intervene, over 100 lives were lost. General Buhari would then launch a devastating assault on the sect, leading to the arrest and prosecution of many of them, with the others fleeing.

Buhari Completely Destroyed Maitatsine
The Maitatsine Sect was Nigeria's 20th Century version of Boko Haram. The sect was founded by a controversial Islamic preacher called Mohammed Marwa (best known by his nickname Maitatsine). According to Wikipedia, he was originally from Marwa in northern Cameroon. Moved to Kano, Nigeria in 1945.

He claimed to be a prophet, and saw himself as a mujaddid in the image of Sheikh Usman dan Fodio. Although a Koranic scholar, he seemingly rejected the hadith and the sunnah and regarded the reading of any other book but the Koran as paganism.

Buhari Dealt With Chadian Invasion
In 1983 Chadian soldiers invaded Nigeria and took 19 islands in Lake Chad within Nigerian territory. The then Brigadier Buhari, who was the General Officer Commanding of the 3rd Armoured Division (which he did from November 1981 - December 1983) successfully carried out a blockade of Chad.

When he was done, all the territories were returned. The Nigerian Army under Buhari then pursued the Chadian Army as far as 50 km into Chadian territory. The 21st Armoured Brigade carried out the blockade and the fighting.

Gen. Buhari in his years of service to the nation has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that when it comes to securing the lives of Nigerians and the sovereignty of the nation, he is firm and decisive.

Today one of Nigerians major challenge apart from corruption is insecurity. Terrorists, militants, kidnappers and armed robbers are terrorizing innocent citizen who are going about their lawful engagements. Individuals and even an entire community living in fear for their lives.

Boko Haram and their sponsors are afraid of a Buhari's presidency and for a good reason. On this thread we will be looking at some of Buhari's record in dealing with security challenges.

God bless Nigeria!

onyengbu:
Are you guys on something? Who is talking about importing fuel here.
We are talking about building a pipeline to pump crude oil to kaduna from South when there is an already working refinery in PH.
Why not just the pipeline to pump already refined products to NNPC tank farms in the north.

He simply employed clannish quota system in building refineries without putting into consideration the economic demerits.
@Bold: Yet again you are holding on to failed logic. What Buhari did in siting the refinery in Kaduna, was a very smart and cost-effective move. Here are the reason:

1. Crude Oil when refined, has a lot of by-products like PMS, Kerosene, cooking gas, etc.
2. By using pipeline to transport the crude, all the supplies can be moved with a single line. Rather than have different pipeline for Gas, Fuel, Kerosene, etc.
3. And you should know that it is not only Fuel that needs to be distributed.
4. Using pipeline to transport it to Kaduna is an acceptable International practices. Eg: Russia's supplies to Europe, Keystone pipeline that will run from Canada to US, etc.

It is shameful that instead of building Refineries in their 15yrs in Power, the PDP led government could not build even a single refinery.
