All I know is "after God na Tinubu" ![]() |
If you had been a good and competent president, you won't need all this. Your good works would have been clear for all to see. But now you have to beg, threaten and rig. |
What a country... When you have a corrupt leader, this is the result. Tinubu can never make Nigeria better, even if you give him 1000 years. His nature will never permit it. When you have someone who is a suspected drug peddler, a rigger of elections, An Agbero and Godfather, stealing public funds to benefit himself and his family, putting his boys and family members in critical positions, you can never have progress. |
If I were Akpabio, I will simply reply "apology received. Welcome back once the suspension time elapses in few months" |
This government is just lies and propaganda |
I think it's time for Angel Gabriel to blow the trumpet. This world don cast |
The problem with bearing firearms: 1) Registration: Nigeria has a fundamental data problem. We don't know who is who. We don't know who owns what and how and where they got it from. Nothing can be traced. In developed nations, the fact that they have good database makes it easier to trace people and things, and they are still having big issues with guns, even with this robust database. The basis for owning firearms in those countries is that it is registered to someone that has passed some checks with previous records also checked. If you have been convicted of a criminal offense, you can't own a firearm. If you are a violent offender, a sex offender, an illegal immigrant, you can't own a firearm. Where will Nigeria get these registers and be able to harmonize them? 2) corruption: Even without the law legalizing firearms, people still own firearms illegally , Imagine when it's now legal, the big men will bribe their way to own several and the very sophisticated type. They'll probably do this without subjecting themselves to the necessary checks and psychological examinations that make you worthy of bearing arms. This will multiply firearms and that's not a good thing. 3) Incompetent policing: watching the Lagos state commissioner on Channels TV some days ago talk about Quadri and the blatant arrest of a minor and interrogating him without a lawyer and claiming he is 18 without a recourse to records just shows you how incompetent the police is. We don't have confidence in our police because we know they are just there for money and the highest bidder. They are not there to put in the work to make the citizens safe, except a few and probably less than 10%. The centralized police structure also makes it very cumbersome to be able to trace things locally which makes it difficult to trace firearms or even register them. In the USA, some states allow owning but not carrying. Some states allow carrying firearms except in some specific locations and it can be concealed. Is it the Nigerian police that will know these laws? Abeg shift! 4) Proliferation of firearms isn't good for any nation. What hives these terrorist herdsmen power is the guns they carry. If na one on one, them go collect wotowoto. So government must aim at zero firearms instead of Proliferation since they know they aren't that competent. Even police self go fear citizens anytime they stop them. 5) Human Nature vs Nigerian nature. The human nature is very terrible. Once you give it allowance, it looks for allowances. A man now justifies terrorizing his wife because he has a gun. So with every citizen. Even police go collect. Accident for junction can become what makes a man threaten another with a gun or even kill another. It's even worse in Naija because there's a rebellious and proud spirit in Nigeria that supports hooliganism and agberoism. Giving them guns is oblee for the devil. Just a few to mention. You can add yours, or respectfully object. |
This is amazing... If it can be scaled, then he has a winner. |
What a shame... It's not the 4th position... It's the drastic drop from ove $400bn to less than $200bn. More than halved the economy. APC and this regime is truly a disaster. |
The boy didn't 'do normal' to the street ![]() |
I doubt he has a spiritual mentor or someone he submits to. They would have counselled him better or given better instructions to him |
Sir, with all due respect, you're sick. You need Jesus. And then Therapy. |
Done deal my behind |
OnionBandit:That's why you are a bandit. If truly he was a criminal, do you think Peter Obi would have actually gone this length. The law says one is innocent until proven guilty but not to people like you and your corn master in his Agbero Republic. Why didn't the police produce evidence or take him to court since he was a supposed armed robber? Why put him in prison for a long time without trial, nor any sort of evidence? Shame on you. May you not be in his situation. The day Nigeria happens to you, you won't make unthoughtful and wicked statements like this. |
He is fulfilling his office now... As Chief whip ![]() |
How people sit down and type fake news and have the courage to spread it still baffles me. Like you can actually kill to have the mind to spread false news, knowing it's false. |
That's because you counselled her alone. Scripture says, "But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed, James 1:14. So the temptation you felt isn't because you were counseling a married woman, that situation only amplified what was already inside sir. There's a lust deep inside seeking expression and until that's rooted out, you will keep being tempted, whether it's a vulnerable married woman or young single girl and ultimately it might lead to sin. So deal with that lust. Someone else will counsel that same woman, without the slightest desire to 'knack' her. Just to help her see God's will clearly through his word. |
She needs a proper discipler and the sky would be her limit, she could be the Paul of our generation of properly discipled |
Mary, Martha & Lazarus, Peter (after he had given up fishing)... |
Good point, but who will bell the cat? |
Let this people stop this fighting for crying out loud. We don't need this pls. |
What you ought to have properly discussed during pre marital counseling and courtship |
Yet Jendol is thriving... I used to feel for ShopRite until I saw how well Jendol is doing, so it's not about the economy but about how they conduct their business. |
When you met her first, I'm sure your penis was rising 247. But now you have had enough of her to start talking nonsense. I don't blame you, I blame her who went ahead to open her legs for someone she's not married to. Guess what, that's life. That is how marriage is. Go for your light skinned girl and two years down the line, you'll be back to square one, looking for another woman. I don't know why weak men like you who don't have the courage to stick to one woman is exactly people that irresponsible women fall for. |
CBEX all the way. Withdrew over one million in crypto yesterday from CBex. Trading in crypto has been made very easy with a platform with over 2 years experience in Nigerian market. This is not a joke. That your N160k will be spent on frivolities in less than a month. If you put it in fixed deposit, it will give you 3% interest in 30 days. That's 5k. You can make 0.8% twice everyday on that amount trading while it compounds. It sounds very small until it begins to compound. It's time to sleep and make money. |
Medicine after death... You allow the sector to be run by Mafia and deteriorate for too long. What magic will they perform. First on their agenda... Naira for crude sales. Our refineries must receive proper crude from the nation, especially Dangote. Second... Let's know the true state of PH, Kad and Warri Refineries. Just tell us how exactly it is. Third... Look into importation and how sustainable it is. We don't want monopoly but importation must not hurt the economy or FOREX Fourth... Increase our production capacity. In 6 months, we must hit 2m bpd and aim for 3m bpd come 2027. Properly enforce the PIA Probe the turnaround maintenance of all the refineries Rid the NNPC OF CORRUPTION! |
nairalanda1:No one says both can't be done, but this makes sense. Improving rail link amongst the state should be a priority but it's quite difficult because it involves a lot of agreements and FG has to Veto. A long process. But that will be a game changer |
tundegan:I'm sure if President Tinubu poos, you'll celebrate and say he's making moves, delivering such refined and strong 'poo', capable of giving good manure 🤣🤣 |
Zocalite:Na you dey underestimate God o. His way isn't our way but whoever Tinubu chooses can end up doing what the people want which is credible elections, irrespective of what Tinubu wants |
I hate this nonsense. Calling someone who's not your spouse or significant other pet names... I soooo hate it. I hate flirting too and the people who do such |
Zocalite:God can make it possible. That's why we have to go pray |
This is the time to rise up and pray. Whoever the president picks must be someone who fears God and the people. He would serve the people and not the president irrespective of who gives him the job. He will introduce good, serious and lasting reforms in our electoral system and will deliver the best and most credible election in 2027. He won't also spend to many billions as Mr Yakubu |
