The selected ones will be invited to come for documentation While those NOT selected will be informed that they weren't successful in the FAAN recruitment exercise so that they don't keeping on waiting/expecting appointment when others have resumed duty.

I think FAAN really need a goods of people in this recruitment exercise.
My reason being that its illogical to have a target of 4,000 for interview with intention of recruiting only 750.
Secondly, a friend of mine that was disqualified for failing PFT was later invited the next day (16th), reason according FAAN official wen she enquire why dey allowed her to travel back home before asking her to come back for interview. She said the Faan guy replied dat they have NOT gotten the targeted number for interview because some piple shortlisted on de site for Zonal exercise didn't turn up. That's why dey invited dem that Failed the PFT, which they earlier disqualified to come back for interview inorder to get de reqired number from the centre(Enugu)

They(FAAN) apologise to them (those affecte) for the incovinences because many have to travel back to the centre after being asked to go home becos dey failed PFT

According to her, NOT all dat failed were re-invited, is was based on target number for each state. That is, if the state have not gotten to targeted number, then dey invite piple from dat state ealier disqualified to complete their slot.

From above senerio is can opine that 70% those dat made it to last stage (interview) will have their appointment.

With your common sense you have known dat it will especially states with domestic airports (state owned airports)

My question is, would FAAN give special consideration in terms of slots per state to those states that have more than 1 Airports against states that have 1 or NON?
For instance my own state, Delta has 2 state owned Airports Warri Airport and Asaba Airport.
Can this factor earn some states more slots than other states?

Hint according the report; To the 95 workers on GL 7, who earn a total of N171.7m,
while the 168 members of staff on GL 8 take home N363.2m annually including allowances.

By my calculation, GL 07 earns N150,000 monthly including allowances
Then GL 08 earns N180,000 per month

This means @FAAN GL 07 should take Home @least N90,000 while GL 08 should be up to N120,000

Security Cadet is for SSCE holders, why will you apply for that?
If you are familiar with mass recruitment exercises, you will know that when they grade cadres and put minimum qualifications on each cadre, you are expected to apply for the one your qualifications falls into the minimum.
This is not logic, it is just the way it is. Most of you erred in that regard. But it is a good thing they stopped chasing people out, then again Nairaland should be thanked for that since it was complaints from here that were addressed.

During my accreditation which came bfor interview, the FAAN asked me which position I applied for I said ASS, the next question was where is ur NCE certificate, before other this credential follows. @teamEnugu
I tink de minimum qualification stated is de required qaulification for each position otherwise there won't be any need of talking about Upgrading people to the appropriate Cadre.

My friend that got NIS last recruitment affirmed this, he said even the Quota alloted to the state will be share among the LGs dat made up the state.
Therefore politicians can only hijack his contituency(state/LG) slot. Always Vote wisely
In his case, he said 2 slots were allocated to each LGs that made up his state(Delta), multiplied by 25 LGs of the state (2^25=50) slots
Futunately for him dey were only 2 candidates dat made it to final stage in his LG. That was how he got the NIS 2008. Today he's a big boy

has refuted reports of irregularities during the
governorship and state House of Assembly
elections in Delta State on Saturday.
While the elections were ongoing, there were
reports especially by the members of the Labour
Party and the All Progressives Congress, alleging
that there were cases of snatching of election
materials, discrimination against their
supporters and other irregularities.
There were reports of snatching of election
materials in Bomadi, Ndokwa East, and Isoko
North local government areas.
Also, the governorship candidate of LP, Great
Ogboru, claimed that PDP thugs chased away LP
agents in the Ikah North East, the local
government area of the PDP candidate.
He said, “In about four or five local governments
in the state, elections were poorly conducted; in
fact I will say that there were no elections at all.
Ikah North East is one of them. That is where the
PDP candidate comes from.
“There they tore the cards of all our agents and
drove them away and said unless you are voting
for the PDP, you will not be allowed to vote.”
However, our correspondent could not
independently confirm these reports as all the
wards Sunday PUNCH visited in Warri North,
Warri South, Warri South West, Ughelli North
and Ethiope East, accreditation and voting went
relatively smoothly except for arguments over
missing results sheets.
When contacted, the state Resident Electoral
Commissioner, Mr. Anidi Ikowak, said he
monitored the elections in all the local
government areas of the state, and could
confirm that the reports were false.
