Localemperor: Back then, I could not effort to pay for a rent outside the school premises so my only option was to stay in the school hostel.
For those that know IJ hostel ( University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus). I was staying at room 107 J wing with my 11 room mate. in no particular order
Haruna- Studied Medicine and he is from sokoto Ebuka-- Studied Medicine and he is from Enugu Tosin- Studied Dentistry and he is from Ogun Emeka-- Studied Accounting and from Enugu T J and MC --- Studied Architecture I and Tolu badest - Studied Business Management John Benson-- did not graduate Ebere Singlet-- did not graduate Farmer-- did not graduate
this guys are the best, not withstanding the nature and conditions of our problems then. 11 people staying in one room was a disaster in the making but we were able to manage the situation. Most times we lap each other while sleeping or when some are in the reading room other are sleeping but the agreement was three hour sleep for the first batch and funny enough it became a norm that was sacred among occupants of room 107 IJ.
If you keep your pen on the table, when you come back next year, you will still find it at that same spot. No stealing and the room was always neat.
Arguments was the order of the day, things like " the Surgeon made the wrong call, he shouldn't have done the surgery in the morning, or why would First bank want to take over Diamond bank? this is a great disrespect to the management and customers of diamond bank".
those guys are the best Why did those your guys not graduate? |

Politics › Re: The Eastern Region Series : Igbo Domination Myth Part 1. by Ejusni(m): 1:10pm On May 13, 2020 |
Okay I'm going to make my point known. I'm from a minority tribe in NIGERIA I'm neither Hausa/Fulani nor Yoruba nor Igbo or their derivatives. I'm a firm believer in NIGERIA and even more a united ONE NIGERIA, I believe and observe as many Nigerians have the deterioration of our country, it's economy and Muhammadu Buhari's clear ethno-nepotistic tendencies. I believe we as a nation have our own fair share of problems;
the Igbo claim to be marginalized in terms of appointments and infrastructural development(which is very debatable) but as Mr President being who he is you can't blame him.
If Biafra is achieved( which in my opinion is 99.99% impossible considering the state of things and what happened the last time in 1967) what then will happen to Biafra? What will the minority tribe do? Do you think they'll sit and become MINORITY all over again? I don't think so. Everyone will want their own country( South South Nigeria is the most ethnically diverse place in NIGERIA) imagine how many 'countries' will spring up. The smaller and divided we are the more enticing we become, we have neighbours that aren't very friendly France has shown countless times it's aim in West Africa- a disunited Nigeria which will become it's puppet state like Cameroon, Niger, Chad states with dictators as rulers.
Secondly what do you think will happen to all the Igbos who've spread out all of over Nigeria and their assets, they'll loose everything! Billions of dollars lost! Is that what we want? Millions of Igbos packed in Biafra putting exceeding strain of resources in Igbo land, millions more migrating to the south South where they aren't native. Do you think the locals will be friendly? Do you think they'll like being minorities again?( I think I've mentioned this before).
The point of everything i wrote up there is ONE NIGERIA it is the easiest and preferably less bloody solution. Nigeria should be restructured politically, economically, socially. A well proportioned government where no nepotism takes places should be in place.
Please no one especially ipob should quote me abeg. |

I have a question for all of you. Why is it that this I.p.o.b campaign started during buhari's regime? Is it because of the perceived discrimination? So if an ethnic group is marginalized Because it refused to vote for a particular candidate what do they do? Do they start crying like babies?
What will happen if an Igbo person becomes president in 2023 and Igbos hols major positions will this clatter for Biafra still continue? Will it? Or is this supposed liberation just for economic and political gain? |

Politics › Re: Nnamdi KANU Is Turning Biafra To A Joke With This Buahri Cloned Issue - Photo by Ejusni(m): 1:44pm On Apr 30, 2020 |
Nnamdi kanu is clearly a con artist/bipolar maniac who is clearly being funded by Nigeria's enemies. He has shown the inability to constructively criticize Nigeria's government or even wage a well organized separatist campaign against the Nigerian state, from all indications he was hired, trained and has always been funded by terrorists and their enablers in West Africa.
Ipob wake up and realize that ONE NIGERIA is the only way. United we stand. |
Politics › Re: Nnamdi Kanu Broadcast A Clone. by Ejusni(m): 10:02pm On Apr 29, 2020 |
I think this thread is a decent attempt at humour and at the same time quite hit the nail on the head. If ipob supporters can believe buhari is dead and 'jubril' from Sudan is replacing him it might as well play out that Nnamdi kanu is dead and some albino from God knows where is impersonating him.
I personally believe if the Igbo are to fight for a better cause Nnamdi kanu is not the man for it, he continues to insult whoever disagrees with him, behaving like a sycophant and a complete troglodyte which is very uncharacteristic for any leader. |

Yujin: When next you want to barge into Igbo threads endeavour to observe decorum. I responded to you uncouthly because you ran into the thread with threats and unsubstantiated allegations about complexes and uniqueness. Initially, I wanted to dissect all the thrash you wrote but on a second thought, I chose that one you earlier saw. Now, identify yourself by your ethnic group and state your grouse with the topic of this thread. Thereafter, I'll calmly respond to your concerns. Firstly I'm esan and Nigerian by virtue of blood. Secondly I propose a different approach to anioma 'issue'. |
