Karac:Nigeria always backwards in everything. Many countries have accepted the reality of covid-19. we are still decieving ourselves trying to form 'activity'. I just hope you, the future civil servants, politicians etc will have wisdom and integrity to move Naija forward |
nomanicole:Hello there, I'd like to make a few enquiries concerning the MBA especially the part time and professional MBA. Could you put me in touch with your friend or at least relay a few questions. 1. What are the specific requirements for professional MBA? 2. Can someone with a background in Engineering apply directly for the professional MBA 3. How are the lecturers. are they invested in students' learning or do they just read textbooks and intimidate students I've also sent to a mail. Please treatment as urgent? Regards |

Corona is LIKELY real let's Do some digging. *how many people died of other ailments because hospitals could not admit them or they could NOT get to a hospital because of the lockdown. *Do you know how many people die of Malaria in Nigeria. * Do you know how many people die of typhoid in Nigeria * Do you know how many people die from diabetes complications in Nigeria * Do you know how many businesses could not resume after the lockdown * Do you know how many ladies lived with men they did not know so they could just eat at least once a day Do your research. The number of people some ailments claim in half a year does not come close to the number of Corona cases. How could you trust a government that would keep food locked up in warehouses. When people were hungry. For the majority of Nigerians there are two options 1. Stay at home, add no economic value and hence die of hunger 2. Go out and hustle and 'MAYBE' die of Corona. Either way death is involved. What option would you say is most Logical DONT BE FOOLED BY POLITICAL PROPAGANDA. OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE FOR YOURSELF #NoLockdown #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria #EndBadLeadershipInNigeria |
nniero11:If that's the case WHO is just as corrupt. They can't say they don't know how backhanded the Nigerian government is |
Hello |
I'm a bit on the fence on the topic. I think it has to do with our expectation in education and the reality. Let me share a story I went to a Nigerian University, studied pet Engineering I didn't have 'fun' I faced my book . graduated with an awesome grade (not first class Sha)after graduation I realised that I knew nothing about the industry and how it operated. I got the opportunity to interact with a few people that studied abroad and I discovered that I was way behind. I was 'encouraged' to do masters in Nigeria (I was very reluctant but I did it anyway) only to get there and once again meet lecturers that dictate from textbooks. Lecturers that expected you answer questions exactly as it is in their notes. People were more interested in passing that understanding the courses. The more I tried to understand the more I was respected by my classmates. But the more I failed because I couldn't answer questions verbatim. I remember a particular lecturer. He would dictate his note from an old textbook. There was a certain formula that was derive poorly. I decided to read other better sources. When I derived my own formular out of 12 marks I got only 4. While people I taught that just crammed the notebook did way better. That's just one of many courses. Just after the program I got a job in an engineering firm where I discovered once again that I knew NOTHING. Younger people that studied abroad were doing wonders and no one had the time to teach me. I found myself paying for courses and trainings to keep up. I did the math and the money I spent on masters could have paid for 5 training. I could easily say that school in Naija is a scam. However, if I were realistic with my educational goals and had proper guidance maybe I would have gone farther. Formal Education is good but we can't rule out the plague that is the Nigerian system. |
poweredcom:That's great. The early formative years of a child's life is very important. Can you trust these "New age babes with Android and iPhone" to raise your children? How would you ensure that your kids (especially boys) are raised in a proper environment and not in a an 'Olosho household' |
