Ol'boy....Liverpool will have to dig reeeaaalllll deep o Liverpool have been pegged back in their end of the pitch for much of this half... These Villa boys are playing some interesting script from Emery..when Liverpool has the ball, they throw themselves in there to prevent Liverpool from stringing any passes...they jump for every ball even if Liverpool has dominated aerially...my team Chelsea need to come and learn some football efficiency here...man for man..Liverpool is by faarrr the better team but tonight ... The Villa boys have confidence mehnnn but for them o sustain this possession and pressure they have to calm down when they're in the Liverpool 18 yards I believe Liverpool is waiting for a break in this half to score 1 goal and kill the game ...if it stays like this till end first half..lvilla will continue to grow in confidence that they can take this game to extra time... 1 Like |

I've never seen Liverpool battle this hard with any team local or internationally in recent times. They're trying hard to match these quick feet Villa boys and doing their best to break when they get the chance but the tempo is so high....very good free flowing football so far...Villa expectedly has a slightly higher possession but it looks balanced to me 3 Likes 1 Share |
