Politics / Peter Obi: Church Take Back Your Country: Full Video by Ekemini11: 7:38am On Mar 28, 2023
APC supporter are always on on how Peter Obi is a religious bigot; because he allegedly said the church should take back their country.

Here's a 44 seconds video from that speech. Watch it and decide for yourself if he was been a religious bigot.
Meanwhile, he also told the youths to take back their country over 100 times, and no one is castigating him for that.

Lol. Do you even know the meaning of indictment? Tinubu was first indicted, and then convicted; which is why he forfeited the said amount mentioned in the article.

Indictment is one process. It's either the person is let go or convicted. In Tinubu's case, he was convincted; cos he forfeited the money.
Politics / Re: Video Of Adeleke Dancing As Appeal Court Reinstates Him As Osun Governor by Ekemini11: 8:05pm On Mar 24, 2023
N3TRAL:
Let's face it, every genuine lover of Tinubu is happy with the decision of the Court of Appeal. The tribunal sitting at first instance used the BVAS to determine over-voting.

The main decision of the Court of Appeal that differs from the tribunal that entertained the matter at first instance is that:

There is no over-voting if total votes in a polling unit is lower than the voter's register even if it is higher than what the BVAS accredited.

The BVAS is secondary in proving over-voting, while the voters register is primary. That's the law according to the court of appeal.

In Law, Courts are binded by precedents. The Court of Appeal and those lower than the court of appeal will from now on use voter's register to determine over-voting.

All the synchronization of the BVAS and whatnot are irrelevant. Obi and Atiku have failed.

I am also celebrating.
Lol. Are you dumb?
The tribunal used the early IReV data acquired days after the election (without full synchronization); not BVAS.

You think Inec can create IReV data for the rigging in Lagos and Rivers state?

Obi is moving from rigging because APC didn't add additional votes in most states. They reduced LP votes and added it to their own, while ensuring the total votes remain the same.

Politics / Polls: Evangelist Mike Bamiloye: Vote Truth, Sincerity by Ekemini11: 8:22am On Feb 25, 2023
Founder of Mount Zion Drama Ministry, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, has called on Nigerians to vote for truth and sincerity in the upcoming elections.

He advised Nigerians to look beyond political parties and ethnic affiliations and vote for the candidates that will prioritize the interests of the masses.

In a post on his Instagram page, the evangelist emphasized that this election is not a battle between political parties, but a battle between the poverty-stricken masses and the wealthy elite who have been in power for decades.

He urged Nigerians to wipe their eyes clean of political sentiment and ethnic bigotry and vote with their hearts.

Evangelist Bamiloye further stated that the physical appearance and lifestyle of the candidates should be considered, as well as their backgrounds and sincerity. He urged Nigerians to do away with any sentiments and listen to their hearts, as this is a crucial time for the nation.

The evangelist urged Nigerians to vote for the truth and to do what is right for the nation, rather than being swayed by the offer of a morsel of meat or a piece of bread. He emphasized that the truth about the candidates is known in the hearts of Nigerians and should not be ignored.

He concluded by asking why Nigerians deliberately turn a blind eye and deaf ear to the truth, despite having heard and seen the candidates clearly. He urged them to vote for change and to prioritize the interests of the masses.

Politics / How Wike Became A Coward [my Story] by Ekemini11: 7:06pm On Feb 24, 2023
The first time I saw Wike was in 2014. He came to my school RSUST to campaign.
Amaechi has just reduced to school fees for non-indegines to the same amount as indigenes (24,000).
When Wike visited, he told us point blank that he will reverse the school fees.
I was shocked; how can you say such a thing during a campaign?

As you may have thought, I didn't vote for him. My preferred candidate for Rivers governor was Tonye princewill, who was coincidentally competing under Labour Party then. Wike won.

Another incident happened that made me like Wike as a person, despite the fact that he increased our school fees.
It was a Townhall Meeting of some sort in 2016. Rivers state students were complaining about their busary. Amaechi use to pay them about 10k annually, but they haven't received any from Wike.

So in the Townhall, this guy (a student) stands up and asks Wike why he hasn't paid their busary.
Wike just shrugs. He asks the boy if his parents are civil servants. He says 'yes.'

Wike then ask him to choose between his father's salary or the 10k busary.
That was when I saw Wike's honesty. It was amazing seeing a politician being so honest.

But that has changed now. The once courageous man has become a weakling hiding behind shadows.
What changed one may ask. The answer is simple. Wike was bold to us at RSUST because that was the truth and he believed it. He was bold to the student about his busary, because it was the truth.
But Wile knows his support for a Muslim Muslim ticket goes against the truth he preaches. So he has lost that boldness.

In essence, the truth make you bold. While living a lie makes you a weakling.

Politics / 2023 Presidential Elections: No One Knows Who Will Win by Ekemini11: 3:11pm On Feb 23, 2023
Unlike previous elections, no one can predict who will win this one. Although polls have shown where some states may go, the reality on ground may be different.

Here's what we know:

States
- Atiku is not sure if winning Adamawa.
- Tinubu is not sure of winning Lagos.
- Only Peter Obi is certain of winning his state.

On the region side;
- Atiku has a high chance of winning the northeast, but there's no certainty.
- Tinubu will likely win Ogun and Ondo, but will he win the southwest overall?
- Only Obi is sure of winning the southeast.

Politics / Boot Party Collapses National Structure For Peter Obi by Ekemini11: 10:47am On Feb 23, 2023
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, increased its numerical strength in terms of polling unit agents following the collapse of the party structure of the Boot Party into the Labour Party.

A delegation of the Boot Party’s national leadership met with delegates of the Labour Party on Tuesday to provide moral and other support to help actualize Obi’s ambition.

The meeting was chaired by PA Ayo Adebanjo, the leader of Afenifere, the Yoruba Pan-Socio-cultural Group.

In attendance to witness this political development was Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos State.

The party, which has a strong presence in the South West, has promised to work hard to mobilise resources and efforts to deliver the South West to Obi.

With this coalition between the Labour Party, African Democratic Congress, and Boot Party (LP+ADC+BP), the number of polling unit agents employed to monitor activities for the OBI-DATTI movement increases astronomically to (136,874 + 96,043 + 13,544 = 246,461 agents).

A breakdown of the number of collation and polling unit agents to help the OBI-DATTI movement monitor the polls is as follows:

Lagos State: APC has 13,306 polling unit agents and 268 collation agents. The PDP has 13,332 polling unit agents and 271 collation agents. The NNPP has 13, 273 polling unit agents, and 265 collation agents. While the coalition of LP/ADC/BP has 12,361 + 2,401 + 56 = 14,818 polling unit agents, it has 217 collation agents. The number of verified registered voters is above 7 million.

Kano State: The APC has 11,177 polling unit agents and 528 collation agents. The PDP has 11,255 polling unit agents and 529 collation agents. The NNPP has 11,213 polling unit agents and 532 collation agents. The LP/ADC/BP coalition has 7,318 + 4,861 + 105 = 12,284 polling unit agents and 184 collation agents. The number of verified registered voters is above 5 million.
Kaduna State: The APC has 8,010 polling unit agents and 279 collation agents. The PDP has 8,010 polling unit agents and 280 collation agents. The NNPP has 7,937 polling unit agents and 279 collation agents, while the coalition of LP/ADC/BP has 6,228 + 8,010 + 0 = 14,238 polling unit agents and 542 collation agents. Over 4.3 million people have been verified as registered voters.

Rivers State: The APC has 6,862 polling unit agents and 343 collation agents. PDP has 6,866 polling unit agents and 343 collation agents. The coalition of the LP/ADC/BP has 5,537 + 5,114 + 596 = 11,247 polling unit agents and 422 collation agents. Over 3.5 million people have been verified as registered voters.

Katsina State: The APC has 6,378 polling unit agents and 396 collation agents. The PDP has 6,393 polling unit agents and 399 collation agents. NNPP has 6,627 polling unit agents and 381 collation agents. The coalition of LP/ADC/BP has 2,989 + 2,416 + 3,506 = 8,911 polling unit agents and 4 collation agents. The number of verified registered voters is above 3.5 million.

Oyo State: APC has 6,378 polling unit agents and 385 collation agents. There are 6,393 polling unit agents and 387 collation agents in the PDP. NNPP has 6, 358 polling unit agents and 403 collation agents. The LP/ADC/BP coalition has 3,564 + 3,931 + 60 = 7,555 polling unit agents and 49 collation agents. Over 3.2 million people have been verified as registered voters.

Despite the advantage the coalition of LP, ADC, and BP has over the other major contenders—the APC, PDP, and NNPP—the coalition still fell behind in the number of collation agents employed.

APC stands for the All Progressives Congress. The party is the party of the president of Nigeria. Its presidential candidate is Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

PDP stands for the People’s Democratic Party. The party is the main opposition party and ruled Nigeria for 16 years. Its presidential candidate is Atiku Abubakar.

NNPP stands for the New Nigeria People’s Party. The party’s presidential candidate is former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

LP stands for the Labour Party. The party’s presidential candidate is Peter Obi.

ADC stands for the African Democratic Congress.

BP stands for the Boot Party.

Politics / I Am Not Supporting Tinubu – Gov Ikpeazu Dismisses Orji Kalu by Ekemini11: 2:44pm On Feb 22, 2023
Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has dismissed recent comments credited to Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, as mere speculations and wishful thinking.

Speaking to newsmen after inspecting the ongoing final asphalt overlay on Faulks Road, Aba, Governor Ikpeazu stated that “no member of G5 can railroad another member into supporting anyone against his will as suggested by Senator Kalu”.

It will be recalled that during a recent interview with Channels Television on Monday, Senator Kalu had said:

“Tinubu is well liked by the North and is from the South-West and is going to get a [sizeable] vote in Imo, Ebonyi, Abia, Anambra and Enugu. And he’s going to have the support of Governor Wike of Rivers State, so we’re on track.

“My governor here, Okezie Ikepazu, will also support Tinubu. My senatorial district is going to give Tinubu the vote, the puncher to give the 34, 35 per cent to be on the ballot,” he said.

Responding to newsmen after his project inspection visit, Governor Ikpeazu who dismissed Senator Kalu’s statement with a wave of the hand, described it as mere wishful thinking and the usual political speculation associated with the season.

Earlier, the Director of Strategic Engagement, Abia State PDP Campaign Council, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, had in a statement iissued in Umuahia, assured that there was no truth whatsoever in tne statement credited to Senator Kalu, recalling that in the run up to the 2019 general elections, there were similar mischievous speculations around the Governor because of his non rancorous brand of politics which allowed him to accommodate different political views and orientations without any qualms.

“Governor ikpeazu is a democrat and even as he frowns at some decisions of his party, the PDP, he remains a committed member of the PDP family.

“Ikpeazu is in touch with Abians and will not derail from the decision of a majority of his people which does not presently incline towards APC or its presidential candidate, Senator Bola Tinubu.

“It is noteworthy that in the field, APC structures in Abia South Senatorial District have completely collapsed into the PDP as was seen during the PDP rally held at Ahiaba in Obingwa LGA. So it is laughable for anyone to imagine the Governor working for the same party that has collapsed as a result of the good work the Governor has been doing in the state.

“For the avoidance of doubt, Governor Ikpeazu has not endorsed Tinubu and will not endorse him because he is a leader that is guided by the feelings of his people.
PDP remains formidable and all our candidates in the forthcoming elections hold very strong prospects of winning, in Abia”, he said.

Chief Okiyi further stated that the PDP in Abia State “acknowledges the frustration of opposition parties in the state and sympathizes with them on their imminent rejection by the people who see the PDP as a steady hand guaranteeing continuing peace and progress of the state.

“Abians cannot abandon the PDP which gave them over 200 roads including 4 bridges, 700 new classroom blocks, sent some of her youths abroad on schorlarship and trained shoemakers overseas. It is unthinkable for our people to abandon such a party which built 2 brand new giant firms that have been gainfully employing our people and engaging them in other nuerous positive ways.

“The PDP government of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has employed over 10,000 youths through direct jobs in TIMAAS, APUMA, ENASCO, Abia school feeding programmes, ASEPA etc. It has facilitated regular power supply in parts of Aba through delineate support to Geometric Power Company and has bequeathed the first free trade zone in south east through Enyimba Economic City.

“It is because we are proud of our record as a party and government that our candidates are campaigning on those records, whereas our opponents are engaging in propaganda and outright falsehood to attempt to hoodwink voters.

“As of today, Abia remains the safest state in the southeast. To the glory of God, the state has not witnessed any successful bank robbery since Governor Ikpeazu emerged in 2015. Our people will only go to a place with better prospects or they remain with the party they already know. They are not willing to repeat the same mistake Nigerians made at the National level in 2015.

Politics / Govs Devastated By New Naira Policy Because They Can’t Buy Votes Again: Sanusi by Ekemini11: 8:32am On Feb 20, 2023
A former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Lamido Sanusi, claims governors are angry with the new naira policy because they will not be able to buy votes during the February 25 and March 11 elections.

On Sunday, Mr Sanusi advised would-be voters to disregard the governors and other politicians’ opposition to the naira swap.

“It is the politicians’ plan to leverage the people’s poor conditions to buy their votes during the election period,” said the former emir of Kano. “That is why they are suffering the most from the naira redesign policy as they will not be able to use the money stolen over all these years to buy the people’s votes, bribe the police, the judges.”

Mr Sanusi added, “Therefore, the naira redesign has affected their plans for the coming election since they cannot bring the money to the open for swapping. Their criticism of the policy is not for the good of Nigerians but for themselves.”

He stressed that “this election is not about who has more money, political influence, or thuggery. It is about ensuring good governance.”
