I have read about the agony of so many people on Nairaland about problems they faced in starting transport business.I thought it would be better to share with others your personal experience with the so called Danfo drivers.

The bus you are asking about is called vanwagon made by Volkswagen,there are two types of such bus i.e the vanwagon and thec carravelle. The vanwagon comes with a diesel engine (santana engine) while the other one comes with a flat engine. The cost of the santana engine type is about 600,000,whilst the other one is for 750,000.
I would advise that you go for the santana type as the cost of maintenance is low and you can change the engine to petrol like after 6 month of usage.
Now to the amount they make daily,you would get about 5,000 daily on each vehicle,but there is a secret to the trade that most people dont know,I happen to be a driver and I know most of the route and how to make money for the owner of the bus. first thing first,I do not support or condone violent at all (male versus male,female versus female,male versus female) but if we look into human behaviour we would note that violence is an in born thing eg a child that his biscuit was snatched by his mate would either cry or fight back.
Haven said this there are so many reasons for a man not to hit a woman,but if we want to be realistic about it,there are very few marriages that have not experienced the husband hitting the wife once (please i stand corrected).So many people are guilty of this and it takes great self control and a great deal of patience not to fall into the temptation,however there are some women who are very difficult to live with but i still dont think beating her up is the solution as cutting off the head is not a solution to headache.
