You are correct they are on the right track. Part of it is due to what I mentioned earlier. Military rulership in Nigeria, When America started shipping job overseas, in the 90's, they were shipping manufacturing to China where English in not a requirement, software development and other technical services are going to India and Philippines because they speak English, we could not benefit because we are under military rule, In the 2000s Nigeria could not participate because of poor infrastructure. It was a big lose for Nigeria. I remember going to Chennai around 2008 as SME to train some technical support teams. I kept telling my self why can't we give Nigerians this type of opportunity but we don't have the necessary infrastructure in Nigeria then. even now we still don't have the infrastructure necessary to attract onshoring of technology support to Nigeria. We have trainable manpower. I am hoping the devolution of electricity generation and distribution to the state will be helpful.
As for Tinubu, I have chosen not to raise my hope regarding any Nigerian politicians so that I won't be disappointed

Why must you weep for Nigeria. Yes we have a lot to do but we are pulling our own as well. India got their independence in 1947 and we got ours in 1960. There are as much poverty in India as there are in Nigeria. India nationals are doing great around the world so are we. Yes there are doing better than us but we are not doing bad as well. We were set back by our leaders, most especially the military and the way the British put us together, they were fortunate to be separated from Pakistan at independency which probably would have been an headache for them by now.
I am sure you know that as there are many Indians in western universities so also are many Nigerians. They are not better than us at school. You work at Info sys and I am sure they are not better than you. I am not saying we are better than them. They are not better than us.

When you get things done the right way, you see results. Nigeria isn't ready yet. My inlaw has spent years at infosys in America as one of thehr key personnel. Its owned by an Indian guy

Obi ,Tinubu or Atiku difference will not be more than 5 percentage points ,based on initial results .

The question is ,who will be the top 2 candidates to proceed for 2 phase polls.

Atiku and PDP is completely decimated in south . OBI is not getting much traction from north and he wont be able to fulfill constitutional requirement and Tinubu has the slightest of chance to fulfil the requirement of constitution and win.

95 percent chance, is election will go to second round ..



Tinubu has proven me wrong here , I did not expect him to win in first round itself ,with ease .
