They refuse to give India a single shot, while busy criticizing and overblowing casualties. And historically, the West have never been good to India. And India's only usefulness as you rightly said is as a counterweight to China.

India understands this, and I wonder why their foreign policy does not reflect it. But since last year, their behaviour and the words that comes out of India's PM's mouth, I'm having some assurance that India is making or has made a U turn.

U misunderstood my comment, iam saying Russia also will get pissed when India goes too much into American friendship.

Even Africa is waking from slumber especially Southern part of Africa . Namibia president has just given mouthful hearing to German minister or diplomat recently .

When the West sent their fleet off the coast of India during the peak of conflict with Pakistan, it was the Soviet Union that reciprocated and stood behind India until the West backed off.

I also wonder why India is part of Quad, and at the same time, BRICS. It just doesn't make sense to me. You can't serve two masters at the same time. India should stay one place, and in Asia.

Also as the biggest democracy in the world, and a one fifth of global population, it's a shame that India is not part of UNSC. It only goes to shows that the world exist in the image of ww2 conquerors.

Who created the rules for themselves, policed by them, and force others to fall in line. This world order must go, it's very undemocratic in nature and structure.

We live in a very interesting time. Just last week, Chinese government have instructed the PLA to be combat ready for war. I wonder why. Is there something the cooking that the public doesn't know? Finger crossed.

Its all due to poor relation between India and China.

India needs U.S.A and Japan to keep China in check and on other hand , India fears the combination of Russia and China against them as USA is untrustworthy country .
They are literally walking a tight rope.
Russia is Bridging the gap between these countries ,so as to present a common front against Western powers .

I said it last year that the world will remember February 24th 2022, as the beginning of the cannibalisation of Western hegemony. The date when Russia invades Ukraine.

But some of the countries people are quick to compare Nigeria to have more than 300-year headstart over Nigeria.

Comparison is good, but we also have to be realistic.

Guys they are many countries who are destroyed during 1950s and are way more developed than Nigeria.
Singapore ,South Korea,Japan, Germany and many more countries.

Election is over and time for healing as to happen .

This post is not against any region or tribe .

The polling percentage is atrocious only 25 to 30 % turned up out of all the registered voters ,cutting across all regions .

Tinubu strong hold Lagos only 20 to 25 percent turned up.
Obi stronghold Anambra only 25 to 30 percent turned up.
Atiku stronghold Adamawa only 25 to 30 percent turned up.

Voting percentage for past 20 years is less than 40 % and decreasing .

It seems only Nairaland political section and people who read news care about elections .

In developed and and developing countries ,the following is the voters percentage who voted in latest presidential elections.

India (largest democracy) 2019 67.4% voted
U.S.A (Most powerful democracy) 2020 62.8% voted
U.K (former ruler of nigeria) 2019 67.3% voted
Germany 2021 76.6% voted
France 2022 73.69% voted

Obidients ,if people are so pissed of the situation in the country at least 60 percent of south east total registered votes should at least Vote Na .

U might say turnout has been deliberately suppressed to reduce votes to OBI ,but same thing cannot be said about North or Southwest .

Either Nigerians dont care about elections or the number of registered voters are grossly inflated.

Tinubu renewed my faith in this country.

Tinubu was competing in the North. In an election that has Atiku and Kwankwaso. He was competing everywhere. He was comfortable in their midst. He was winning. He changed my perspective about the North. He put lies upon lies to rest. Propaganda upon propaganda to rest.

He won an election in a Christian and a Muslim State. He won 25% in every region of this country(please correct me if I am wrong)

He renewed my faith in this country.

YES, Electricity will take time ,but if there is visible progress in the field ,the people will be happy that some thing is being done.

Fuel deregulation should be a priority and toll gates should be built on important highways charging minimum amount which will be used for maintenance .

Wailers can wail, even Countries like India have toll gates all over their country ,The companies take loans from the bank build 4 to 6 lane road charge money for a period of 25 to 30 years and return back to government .
Infrastructure is built. Commute of people will be reduced ,Bank will get back their money and companies makes profit .

We need to study Asian countries like India ,Vietnam etc who are poorer than Nigeria in 2010 and which are making waves in international markets recently .

Tinubu should start working immediately . Ministers should be appointed immediately after inauguration.

If Tinubu fixes just electricity and insecurity ,he will be remembered for ever .
