We all know how hard Tinubu worked to bring APC into power, however APC did not show him the required gratitude. According to his wife, her husband was treated badly.

Now they have come up with the Next Level for 2019 campaign. If they treated Tinubu like this in the first tenure, knowing they will need a second tenure, how will they treat him after they win and Buhari has nothing to loose?

Will they be taking the humiliation to the Next Level?

Well Tinubu is a smart Businessman and does not want Lagos to slip from his hands or repeat the mistake he made with Fashola. He does not want to be trading on one side and the governor will be on the other side.

He wanted to remove fashola during his second term, but Fashola already built his own structure. He then tried to cut down fashola's access at the federal level. Unfortunately, he was already late. Fashola and Amechi had gone directly and invested in Buharis campaign, so there was no way fashola won't get a return on his investment.

He does not want to take such chances with Ambode, hence the need to bring in a freshman with fresh loyalty, before 2019.

So that if after his calculations, he decides to sell to Atiku, the federal level won't use Ambode against him.

So you might see Tinubus body with APC, but you never can tell where his mind is.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan says he laughs anytime people try to run down his administration as a clueless one.

The former President said this in his recently published book titled, ‘My Transition Hours’.

He said, “Sometimes I laugh when certain propagandists attempt to stand logic on its head by maligning my administration as one bereft of ideas and clueless. In assessing my administration, it is best to focus on facts.

“I cannot assess myself. I leave that to history and I make bold to say that never in the history of Nigeria till date has the nation had such a star-studded cabinet full of achievers and people who got to the top of their chosen fields by merit.”

Jonathan said the only thing that saddened him was the hounding of his former ministers by the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

He, however, said he was happy that many of his ministers and former appointees had become leading world figures today like Adewunmi Adesina and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

Jonathan added, “Most painful has been the attacks on my ministers, aides, associates and even members of my family. There is an attempt to erase our legacy from history. The good thing is that the unending barrage of attacks, deliberate misinformation, and programmed media smear campaigns have failed to sway the opinions of those with the clear view of our beliefs, efforts, and achievements.

“There are millions of Nigerians and others around the world who are still impressed with our modest achievements in consolidating democracy and growing the nation’s economy. They will continue to serve as my strength and encouragement.”

The Senator representing Kogi West at the National Assemby, Dino Melaye has reacted to the results presented to President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday by the West African Examination Council, WAEC.

The lawmaker wondered how the result was now presidented to Buhari by WAEC instead of the Nigerian Army where the President had always claimed the result was.

While submitting his nomination forms to INEC, Buhari had stated that the credentials were with the Army board.

The presidency, however, announced that the President had received his WAEC result from the examination council.

Reacting to this, Melaye tweeted, “Attestation certificate, egbami ooo. Where in the roots of our extant laws is this tapping anointing from?

“Attestation ke! Haba kadan kadan ooo. Court must settle this Attestation wahala ooo. Not Army secretary again. Shame is foreign to APC.”
