Chimeluv: Better prepared in what way? Where will the northern governors get the federal allocation to fund the various fulani settlements in their LGAs when the country is divided ?
I think you forgot Niger Delta, you mentioned Oduduwa and Biafra but didn't mention Niger Delta and Ibom Republic. Are you still dreaming that Niger Delta and Biafra will be one? Stop dreaming ,wake up.
FalseProphet1: Funny people, do they thing that if Nigeria breaks up, they'll be moving around Biafra and oduduwa lands destroying their crops with impunity? No government will tolerate their stupidity. I can comfortably say that the fulanis are the sole beneficiaries of one Nigeria.
blues234: It is common to see Nigerians juxtaposing IPOB and Igbo and trying to make them one and same, which is wrong. Freely labeling Igbos as IPOBians is an error that has to be corrected. This is so real that even the President had to make that mistake of referring to South Easterners as IPOB and a dot in the circle. Please, note that IPOB is an organization, registered in the UK, with members from different parts of Nigeria, paying monthly dues as members.. IPOB has members from Igbo, Ijaw, Ibibio, Efik, etc. You may say, oke, the leading members or founding members are Igbos, which is correct, but that never made it an Igbo organization. I'm Igbo, and have never been a member of IPOB nor subscribe to her ideology. I can tell you that there are millions of Igbos who don't subscribe to IPOB modus operandi nor objective for one day. Another important point you all should note, is the reality that Nnamdi Kanu is the leader of IPOB and not the leader of Igbos. As a Nigerian, and nairalander, learn to separate the both. Stop attacking Igbos under the guise of attacking IPOB. Above all, the military should stop killing Igbo youth, in the name of exterminating IPOB members. Every Igbo is a Nigerian, and is protected under the Nigerian law, and thus have the right to fair hearing. If found guilty of belonging to any proscribe group, then the law can take it's full force. Stop killing our people, the killing and victimization is getting out of hand.
Fame99game: My name is Chukwuma Dike The leader of Igbo Youths in Nigeria and Diaspora, I challenge Mazi Nnamdi kanu to a DNA test for the world to know who is actually an Igbo Man...
Bro,don't get me wrong please,I am from Akwa Ibom and I like Fulani and Hausa people a lot but I want to know something- Don't you guys have grass in the North? Why bring cattle all the way from Kano to Delta state to destroy someone's farm? Why not buy land and arrange grass for your cattle in Kano? Imagine if I brought my goat all the way from Akwa Ibom to Kano to eat grass in your farm. This is 2021,there are more modern ways of rearing cattle. Be wise or conflict and war will consume all of us soon.
The writer of this post represents the mentality of a typical Biafra person. This is the main reason why nobody from another tribe is interested in any alliance with you people. The Biafran tribe is the most bigoted in Nigeria. You just can't trust them. That's why you will never produce a president in this country. Imagine someone still thinking like this in 2021. Any Niger Delta person that mentions Biafra deserves to be dealt with ruthlessly, Biafra my ass. Make una carry una bigotry go chop for the 5 states where Niger dash una.
The greatest mistake the Igbo nation will do is to include Igalla or any other group with sizeable number of muslims (eg idoma) into it's dream nation. (The reason why TIVs currently hate and will never allow the idomas to rule the state is due to their religious alliance. They use the derogatory word (loosely translated into) longer throats for this group).
If this is done, the affinity with their sokoto caliphate will still be there and that will be very suicidal for a Biafran nation.
Historic grazing routes in the south? So if Nigeria breaks up you will get a Niger Delta visa to bring cows so they can come and eat in Port Harcourt or Calabar? Who gave you the historic grazing routes? Who owns the land where the historic grazing routes are? What makes you think other Nigerians are interested in your cows? After your explanation I have clearly understood why everyone is sick of Nigeria. One of the issues we have in this country is illiteracy, for someone to believe that he has to bring cows all the way from Borno to Port Harcourt because he owns a historic grazing route in every part of Nigeria is clearly a lack of education. I bet this only happens in Nigeria, I'm sure In other countries cattle farmers keep their cows in a farm and give them food just like I have a poultry farm in Uyo and I feed my chickens in my farm. Now I agree, this country needs to be split into different parts.
NaijirianKing: This is where we run into misunderstandings.
It is not the herders entering the farmlands, these reckless farmers have planted crops all over the historic grazing routes of the Fulani. So the crops that the cows would normally consume have been recklessly comingled with the grazing paths by the farmers. Once this occurs all manner of insults will be unjustly hurled at the Fulani.
This is why we need ranching in all 36 states. Any southerner that wants Northern votes must propose a comprehensive plan on ranching. This way the farmers will know where their side is and the herders will have clear demarcations to avoid future clashes. Ranching is now needed more than ever.
Everybody is rejecting you,una no de shame? Attachee people. Niger Delta has rejected you and now Middle Belt has rejected you. You are indeed a dot in a circle with nowhere to go.
BKayy: Who are these ones? When was Igala of all people added to the the map? Very soon Fulani will release their own statement telling IPOB to remove them from the map
Owo uneghe, make sure you don't insult me again..ooo. If Igbos have problems with Hausa and Fulani that's their problem, I'm not Igbo. I personally trust a Hausa man more than Igbos, I'm speaking from my personal experiences. I have done business with both tribes several times and I know which one took my money and which one was honest. If you want people to trust you then you have to start being more honest. Don't put your rotten Biafran mouth in my comment or post again.
These Biafra people are completely useless, they have no shame and no sense of pride as a people. They are the only tribe that are scared to stand alone. These people are looking for attachment everywhere, begging everyone from South South to South West and now Middle Belt ,Chai- which kind people be dis? I suggest they attach with the Fulanis, they will be a good match.( Too tribes that are always making noise and looking for trouble) Shame on Biafra people, everywhere they go people reject them. Nobody likes them because they're criminals.
Juliusmalema: Chairman of the incorporated trustees of Igala Cultural Development Association (ICDA) working committee, Comrade Enemona Emmanuel Omattah has called on secessionist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to re-draft their map.
Speaking with newsmen in Lokoja on Monday, Omattah said it was an error to include Igala nation in the map of Biafra.
The former State Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) stated that the age-long trade relations and intermarriage between Igbos and Igalas is not enough reason to deny his people their true ethnic identity.
“We are not part of their agitation. IPOB and Biafra cannot annex Igala nation.
“We calling on Igbo people to stop including Igala land in their map.
“During the Nigerian Civil War, Emeka Ojukwu-led team bombed Igala land. Our land was actually attacked. The people that attacked us years ago cannot come around now and claim we are part of them.
“We are not part of Biafra. We will never be part of Biafra. Though we do business with them and even intermarry, that does not mean we are part of them.
“We believe in the Nigeria Project. We believe in the leadership of Nigeria nation. We have our issues with the Nigeria nation but we are not antagonistic. We will address our issues at the appropriate time, not by carrying guns and fighting. We believe in the corporate existence of Nigeria.
“This is the position of Igala nation,” he said.
Speaking on the alleged leadership crisis in ICDA, Omattah said the sociocultural group is being repositioned to fulfil its mandate.
“The incorporated trustees of ICDA constituted a working committee and made me the leader of the group. The working committee was mandated to reposition ICDA, interface, consult and dialogue with other stakeholders of Igala nation, review the constitution and work modalities for election.
“We are working to get the 21 old Igala native districts involved in Igala business. ICDA is an umbrella covering all 21 Igala native districts, now in nine local government areas. Development associations of the district should be involved in ICDA activities.
“Former president, Sadiq Amodu Abubakar and his exco abandoned the aims and objectives of ICDA. Sadiq and his team failed to unite Igala people because of inexperience, greed and failure to accord recognition to the 21 native districts of Igala man. He abandoned his mandate.”
These people are always complaining and making noise. Can someone please tell me how the Igbos are marginalised. Please also tell me how much the Igbos contribute to the Nigerian economy. The Ibibios whose resources make up almost 60% of Nigeria's economy don't make this much noise. You can't reap where you did not sow. If you're so good at doing business then go back and develop Igbo land because it looks like a shithole at the moment. The next president should come from Ibibio land not a tribe that contributes nothing to our economy. We are the most marginalised tribe in Nigeria not the Igbos.
oaktvnigeria: Senate Minority leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has vowed that no amount of threat will stop Ndigbo from demanding equitable treatment in Nigeria, insisting that the marginalization has become unbearable.
According to Abaribe, despite the fact that Igbo are the glue that holds Nigeria, some people are trying to push them out but he said they are not going anywhere.
Speaking yesterday in Enugu at the inauguration of the Igbonine socio-cultural organisation, Abaribe lamented that Igbo have been pushed to the fringes irrespective of the fact that they are the glue that holds Nigeria together and as the highest domestic investors.
He said the present government is manifesting sectional leadership and unequal treatment, which he said has been the problem of Nigeria.
“We are being highly marginalized. This Union called Nigeria is stiflingly everybody in Nigeria not just Igbo but other regions and I am glad that we are making noise to see how to change the situation.
What does Igbo want? Igbo want emancipation. Our people have gone through a lot. We have gone through, lost over 3 million people. When the war ended, were given 20 Pounds but we rose through the ashes and survived.
“We are the glue that holds Nigeria together. We are the highest domestic investors; We are the most travelled in Nigeria. In any part of Nigeria, after the indigenous people, the next is Igbo.
That is why anywhere you go you must see an Igboman. We are really federal Nigeria.
“When they say want to leave, we say no, some people want to push us out. We are not going to leave Nigeria for anybody.
“We have a government today that is manifesting sectional leadership. Boko Haram has been killing people but nothing was done to them. When our boys were carrying flags running around, it was easy for them to get them proscribed as a terrorist organization but the same government refused to designate Boko Haram which everybody knows their activities, killing and destroying and bombing churches and institutions.
“When we challenge them, the Minister of Information said that Boko Haram was faceless but our boys were known.
“This unequal treatment of people has been the problem of Nigeria. We are feeling of being alienated. The alineation is spreading across the country no longer on Igbo.
“What we now have is that even though there is insecurity everywhere but they want to paint Igbo as the people causing the problems.

“Our country Nigeria today is supposed to be the inclusion of everybody because we are equal partners. We, the Igbo are the glue that keeps Nigeria. Therefore, there must be a deliberate effort to bring everybody together.
“Igbo have been pushed to the fringes. When it is time for their rights, they will like to push them around. I will not like when it is time to give President somebody will say there is a problem in Igbo land. Was there no trouble in the North West when Buhari was elected president?
In fact, Buhari was allegedly nominated by Boko-Haram during President Goodluck Jonathan’s Presidency to negotiate for them.
“No amount of threat will deter up from demanding for equitable treatment in Nigeria. Nobody will stop us from doing that even to the position of the President.
“If the dominant position in Nigeria today is restructuring then the minimal demand of Ndigbo in Nigeria cannot be anything less than that of restructuring.
“We cannot be in a country where my own child will be required to score 140 per cent to enter the federal school while another child will be required to score just two to enter the same school”, Abaribe said.
Fought bravely and lost 5 million people? I think you have no brain cells. Ask your father if he's still alive and he will tell you what he went through. You're a mumu.
