My Teamie Spiceeamiee pele ehnnn, i pray the 2nd trimester gets better and more strength to carry through to the end. Sometimes when i feel less preggy, i start looking for MS signs all around my body and i begin to pray for just one sign, and some other days i feel like yes i am actually preggy. Everyday i'm on google looking for the meaning of one thing or the other when i feel somewhat unusual. This journey just comes with a lot of uncertainties coupled with the fact that i had one miscarriage and i never knew what caused it so i just pray one day my lo is delievered to me safely. I hope u feel much better soon and can start to eat what u like, heard that happens in the 2nd trimester sha. Plenty hugs for you . Oya coman do our cappo ooo.

U know d dryness of d weather actually worsens issues cos dryness promotes breakage. Keep ur hair moisturised with a good hair moisturizer at all times. Don't comb ur hair when it's dry. Always dampen it with water first.

I didn't complain about this bcs I knew it wasn't normal...sister u ain't alone... If u see my own hair ehhh..tot it was too much of tightening of braids but no be so oo...I noticed I started having dandruff which I don't have on a normal day...after treating it...I noticed sum part of my hair chopped down to the roots...d back and sum sides in d middle, told my husband oo...he said na baby dey carry all my beauty including my hair ... I just cut the hair low so I can start again bcs my hair was cry horrible...those places DAT chopped off isn't even growing dats d funny thing, I pray when I birth my lo..everything will be normal again..na wa oo..

But i cant cut this hair because it will expose me the more oo. I'll just be fixing on it till i deliver. So no cure atall? Lemme carry my cross then.

Good evening oo mamas in the house. Please ehnn i need sabi mamas to hep me touchlight this hair breakage issue. Noticed since i took in my hair has been breaking but i thought it was cuz of the braids i made at that time. Not made my hair in a while and been using wig but what i see is scary my front hair has chopped real bad and i really dont know what to do. Please what could be the cause and the solution to this chopping.

So, I'm being discharged but my boy is being taken to NICU. Pls pray for him to make a speedy recovery. They say other things are okay but his breathing is still an issue. I'm trying my best not to be worried or cry but it's hard.

Abeg make una know vex o, my tori go long o, cos wanna start 4rm the beginning o.
Part 1
I was prep 4 my intro late 2015, when I started having Lower abs pains, I started going 4 scans, hvs n all, taking antibiotics, still same until after my intro Jan last year , a dr tolD me to start trying, so I did but was always once in a while since dh n I stays separately. A day after my registry was so sick went 4 scan n series of test n was told my appendix has tripled n has to be removed that's 2weeks to my wedding, the dr insist it has to be removed to avoid stories that touches the heart, so we did a day after my registry, it wasn't easy at all o, a week after I was discharged I started feeling sick, 3days to my wedding that's less than 2weeks after the surgery, it was soo bad until I did pt n it came out positive, we were soo excited but scared, wedding went well but I was patched up, cos I stopped taking drugs, I was throwing up, my incision site was bringing out pus, tnk God 4 my life, I was so scared my baby won't come out fine cos of all the antibiotics.

Part 2
1st trim was hell, I throw up all the time, feel dizzy, I perceive everytin, everyting irritates me, I was also taking care of my incision site, no appetite, it was so bad,my hair was out of place, I no see road, I no even know were my make up kit was sef.. 2nd trim was ok, I do shakara small, incision site had closed up. 3rd trim started, another wahala, my lo was soo active. I felt every kick,twist,turns n all, at a point I wasn't comfy with it again, I had to pray 4 grace n then lo was always kicking my incision site. Sometimes I come online to spill my mind n even cc some mama's but got no response xept 4rm dunni (sorry if I didn't spell ur moniker well) so I became an active peeper, but became frnds to suzy offline..
Part 3
At 37wk the pain was much but GoD's grace kept me going,i became restless started squats n walks, that week I had very strong contractions in the night arnd 2am like 3times but notin again, on sun I went to the clinic was told am 2cm (VE is sooo painful o) but notin serious yet, went home with dh, on tue I lost the mucus plug n I was having contraction., I managed till wed anc day, I was checked n told 3cm n was sent home.i than they Waka like duck, I couldn't sleep that night, my jajaina wan comot 4 my pelvic shai, hubby no fit sleep sef, as the contraction they come I they squat, na hot water I they drink n bath with. Dh no fit leave me o, we carry ourself go the maternity again them talk say na 4cm but baby's head no gree descend say I they lazy make dh no ans me make we they go.. hmmmmm... I reach house come they do power woman the contraction than reach every 10min I was crying we lock master's bedroom cos of my mum thinking I need excersice, stupid us, I just they groan 4 inside till Fri o. By Fri around 11, hubby talk say make we go 4 induction or augmentation, whichever 1, na him we come call maternity they say no that we re just 38wks +, I call hospital they talk say cos of the surgery I haD previously them no fit, na him we confuse, them talk say make I go 4 walk n squat, which I Did, by evening I than they cry na him my mama too they cry we come carry ourself go maternity 1st them say they no fit help me with medication cos my appendectomy site never heal well and I might av internal bleeding if given drip that we should go 4 cs. My hubby n mum were so angry that it took them 2days to tell us the truth. that was how we were referred cos the other private hsp I reg is far. As we reach we 1st collect card n I was taking to the sonographer 4 scan na him they talk say baby's heartbeat than drop that we have to bring him out that minute, na him my dh they worried, he signed concept form n paid, they rushed me in n within 10min my prince was brot out, hmmmmm...Wetin my eye see 4 that theatre I no fit talk am o. the nurses took my baby to his dad, he told me baby wasn't crying nor moving, he was beating, still nothing, my mum had started crying. He was rushed back to the theatre and hubby said they spent another 5min on him before he cried. I was stitched and my baby was brought to me, my piece of the moon, cute and strong.. recovery is another chapter on its own. Am grateful to be alive with my baby. Safe delivery to all mama's n to ATC mama's, this year u will laugh.

Congrats ma, thank God it ended in praise. Your prince is a prince charming indeed.

Thanks @missmalachi and jazzyjazz. I have seen d doc and he gave some prescriptions. I didn't bother cos I wount drink dem. Needed home remedy,guess I have to try out the palmoil nd suger or honey. Thanks mama's you guys are family. God's grace.

It's been great as par old student.... with my first no MS at all but with this I started feeling nausea at 9wks wc went thru to 13wks but am good now.

Good for you at least you have experience lol, mine has been on and off oo sometimes i dont feel pregnant sef. i'm just taking each day as it comes.

I cant use any drugs with ordinary water right from when I was a kid (sobs)

If it's not with swallow, it must be with drink

Now that I'm preggy

I have been using drink but will dilute it with water in my first trimester . now I'm 21 weeks I now use milk to use my drugs (please don't abuse me)

I'm I okay? Is there anything I can use to take my drugs apart from water or should I continue with the milk ?

Hehehe so i'm not alone in this. I dont just know how to use drugs and i dont think i can. I have been taking my drugs with milk/drinks but my facial expression is usually so funny to DH that sometimes "in his mind" he will even be demonstrating to me how to use it lol. D koko is that the drugs is going down sha whatever method to me oo is acceptable. So go on with ur milk o

Wow, finally... I have been unable to log on to nairaland with my phone. How is every one doing? Hope we are all fine. Ok, its time to post my birth story.

At my 40weeks appointment labour has still not started, the doctor said he won't check if I am dilated, that it is better for me to go into labour naturally, he said he'll give me one extra week b4 any other intervention. I went home, praying that labour should come b4 then, but still there's no sign of labour. Scan edd was 19 of dec, hospital gave me dec 23, second scan gave jan 4th. I was praying baby will come on december 25th. On the 27th of december I went for my antenatal visit, still with no sign of labour and I was 40wks+5days already. Went to see the doctor, he was still unwilling to do a vaginal check, he said he'll give me two extra days, I didn't wnt it to enter the new year. As we were talking the matron who owns the hospital came in, she checked my card and asked me to lie down, she measure my bump and was about leaving, I told her to check me, she said oya come nw since u are tired of the pregnancy, she did a vaginal sweep and told the doctor to insert a catheter for me, I went to the hospital with my son on that day, so the fixed the catheter and told me to go home and come bk with my bags, I was told to come bk immediately the catheter falls off. I didn't go home immediately, I went to the market, I was at the market when the catheter fell off, I rushed home, behold when I got home there was no one at home, brother inlaw left with key, and my key was just ontop my sons drawer, I had to look for a way to bring it out through the window. Fast forward to when I went bk to the hospital. I was induced at 4pm, was having mild contractions, was even thinking that by 11pm at most I would have delivered, the nurse even thought I'll deliver that 27th, but night came I started having strong and very painful contractions, the contractions were so painful that I cnt describe it, the contractions were like 4 to 3 minutes apart, but labour was not progressing, they checked I was still 6cm, I have not experienced such pain like dat in my life, I was induced with my first son, but approximately 5hrs I gave birth to him. My mother in law was there in the hospital with me praying, hubby went home to be with our son. Called my pastor to pray with me, one of my pastors even came to pray with me in the hospital. I was having serious contractions and even a painful bowel movement alongside with the contractions, though I thought I emptied my bowels that tuesday morning. I started asking myself why I even told them that I want to be induced, I was praying that It shouldn't end in a c-section, the nurse will come and check, they kept saying my cervix was thick and labour wasn't progressing, as if say no be the same cervix I take born my first baby. In the morning the contractions became worse, I though I'll pass out, I was like 8cm dilated then, I was so pressed, they won't allow me have a poo. Once the contractions come like dis, I'll start pulling my hair, hit my hand on the wall, shift the bed and scream like I was dying, gosh it was too painful. They put that pitocin in my I.V severally, I cnt even count how many they put. The nurse that was afternoon the previous day that thought I'll give birth that day, came again for morning duty, she was surprised that I was still in labour. We were 3 in labour, I met two women there and their labour was not progressing also, mine was even trying, cos the other lady was still in 3cm even after a lot drugs they inserted in her cervix. When it was time to push, I pushed twice and yeah I pooped also, b4 the baby came out, the nurse gave me a cut, as the baby small reach (2.5kg) delivered her at 9:33 on the 28 of december. They stitched me without even numbing the area, it was so painful. Infact for 4days I was still unable to walk. But I thank God for his grace, that nothing happened to my daughter and I. God has been faithful, can't really express hw happy I am now. God is wonderful. Her name is iyenoma which means goodnews

Good morning mamas, i greet oo. How is the ministry going? God will forever be our strength. I just have one question oo, lately i noticed that i feel more blood flow in my left hand than the right when i am sleeping. I have tried to keep both hands together several times to check if i placed too much pressure on the left hand but it still had d same result. Abeg sabi mamas is there a meaning to this or i'm just been paranoid? Hep me reason it plsss, thanks.

Team november 2016 here. Had my twins september and now I'm on another missionary journey.
Age gap between my twins and this baby would be about a year or less. Hmmmm

Didnt consider family planning because it took me 5 years and ivf to have my twins, this was a big shock and surprise.

Some people have had nasty experience eating pineapple whilst others says it does nothing to them.

Truthfully you need to eat as much as 6-7 whole pineapples to be affected by its cervix contracting enzyme. That being said some have also testified to just eating a slice and started bleeding.

Body differs just eat it with caution as you are still in the delicate phase of pregnancy.

Hello mamas, pls help a ftm ooo. So lately pineapple is d only fruit that seems to be going down and today i stumbled upon pineapple not being a fruit to take during pregnancy. Truth is i have had almost a whole pineapple in two days ooo and now i'm scared. Plsssssss i need advice and words of encouragement that nothing would go wrong . Pls dont ignore sabi mamas.

Hello mamas, we have been following this thread for a while and have decided to join officially. A ftm and according to LMP October 19, my EDD should be JULY 26 2017 (9 weeks today) but i did a scan over the weekend which placed me a week earlier at JULY 19 2017 (10 weeks), either ways i'm still TeamJuly.

It is a very big lie to say that male operatives examined the females during the physical fitness examination. i had friends who went for the exercise and the only complain was getting disqualified for height, incomplete documents and all certainly not for men touching the women. Some pple can lie sha, she probably got disqualified for some reasons and is so bitter about it. Moreso, the test venue for lagos state was not in Ikoyi, but Unilag. Blogger get ur facts right.
