Please could someone be kind enough to clarify if computer engineering falls under there same category as computer systems and network engineer?

No, it's not in the same category. ACS is in charge of Computer systems and network engineer, and you don't write CDR for ACS assessment rather they use your qualification and work experience.

@Sujydee, @bolaobby & all other gurus,
Please I need guidance on filling MSA application form with TRA as ICT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN,
1. How to write Job description and tools in employers template.

2. Description of work (part 6) on the application form.

3. Someone said (on another forum) that there is no too much information that I can send other certificates, documents that I think can back up my assessment.

Please, TRA gurus and ICT pros in the house Kindly help your brother o. 1k ausd is on the line. Thanks.

@bolaobby & @sujydee I sent you PM, Kindly respond.

I think 1 and 2 are same, just that your boss is required to fill the employers template, while you will write same but in your own words in the application form. Just structure your JD to match what is in Anzsco for the occupation, but not directly same. BTW I sent you a pm. Reply pls.

What are the documents you have, to show TRA that you have been working for this big fashion home for the past 5 years.

Please, I sent u a pm. I want to ask about TRA, how many years of work experience is deducted after the assessment. Does TRA assess Bachelor degree,?although ACS claimed same degree is equivalent to Associate degree. Thank you.

In the light of this, I kindly ask anyone that has gone through TRA assessment to assist me in answering these as I am about to submit my docs; Does TRA assess bachelor degree or only diploma? I saw somewhere on their website that one should have 3 years experience, are these years of experience deducted after the assessment like ACS do or one can still use same for claiming work experience point with DIBP?.

I would appreciate anyone that has gone through their assessment to help. 1k AUD no be beans o.

Thanks.

Ejo o, biko anyone that has done TRA assessment before should talk to me.

@Cecegal,

Once you have all the points you need for invitation, don't worry about getting PFA for those you can't get. With DIBP, third party document like bank statement will suffice for tax documents in addition to your payslips and company's letter.

@Nikkycool, check the qualification requirement for the occupation.

@ALL

Arising from the fall out of Alphadoor's assessment, moving forward, before anyone here in the process submits his/her documents for assessment, can you at least give someone in your field who has gone through the process to assess your job descriptions?

This will help to put fine touches to it, to reduce or eliminate negative outcome.

Please, has anyone with less than 3years work experience assessed with TRA?. I intend to get sponsorship from SA which require I have at least one year experience in the occupation, but I saw somewhere on TRA site that international certificate should have 3years experience, they also stated that they use Anzsco to assess, and Anzsco does not require I have an experience to nominate the occupation.

The occupation is hardware technician. I'd like those that have assessed with TRA to please shed more light. Thanks.

I wonder if anyone knows if BABCOCK falls under institution 1 or 2. Has anyone had a BABCOCK degree assessed as equivalent to an Australia Bsc ?
I checked the aforementioned country education profile and it appears I'm required to pay AUD 318 to get this info, anyone with access to this platform please? Willing to pay ( though less than 318). Thanks

I don't know what it falls on, but ACS considered my Babcock 4 year degree to be an associate degree.

I think the person on night duty last night smoked something. Same time and date you were charged,I got debited too. Three times #200 #150 #150. Marching to their twitter page now. I went to read about the stamp duty, it should be #50 and its the receiving party that gets debited. I cant believe they still debited me #150 for transferring again

All you need is your BSC and employment reference. Google Australian Computer Society and read the pdf to understand what they expect in your employment reference.

ok. but my fear is how it tallies with current employment. though software engineering is still part of computer sci. I just feel if I pick any of those occupation, points from employment myt be reduced or would not be considered.

Well, you are right, since you intend to claim points for employment. Just study both the ANZSCO and ACS booklet well, you should figure something out.

what do you think about these jobs
Software Tester 261314 ACS
Software and Applications Programmers nec 261399 ACS
Database Administrator
ICT Trainer
Analyst Programmer 261311 ACS
Developer Programmer
thanks

You should be qualified for them all. But why mot pick an occupation that is both on SOL and CSOL like software engineer, analyst or developer programmer.

thanks a lot sir.
what about university tutor and ICT Trainer. they are both on csol.would that be better sir?

Firstly, it is ACS that assess computer science degrees not VETASSESS. And, why are you particular about lecturing occupation, there are at least 4 occupations in the SOL list that you can nominate. What you get in with does not determine the kind of job you would do when you get there.

But if it's general knowledge that Universities in Nigeria don't send original copies to individuals, wouldn't that make them question how I got it in the first place?

I know I'm over analyzing but I like to tie all loose ends.
Nigeria Universities are mega-annoying.

I used the same personal copy from Babcock for my ACS, although I am yet to get the outcome but I think they should have contacted me if they have an issue with it. Just certify the personal copy. Btw I'd send you a personal message.

It is just funny how you will be arguing without getting your facts right. Most of the people you claimed you know are likely going to be contract staffs not graduate trainee, but do you expect them to tell you. Like she said Access pays 237k and it's true, GtB pays 208k. First bank even pay more, pls stop arguing what you don't know.

On the morning of 13th EA outcome dropped positive for Electronics engineer. I then went for PTE same day and today, 17th, the result is out..L/S/R/W: 90/81/89/90....It all feels good!!......60 points in the bag...EOI already submitted... ITA loading.....

Good day house,

I have read through the thread and it is quite informative, God bless all the contributors. Please do anyone have a contact of any agent that can assist with this migration stuff?

Or anyone thay can guide me one-to-one on the process.

Thank you

Well I think there are agents that can help you with your application like MARA. But, in my opinion, I don't think there is any need for using an agent, just try to read at least the first 20pages of this thread and also check DIBP Australia website. It is pretty straightforward.

I am sure the country has a website you can check.
It is up to you to give truthful information or do otherwise and waste thousands of dollars.

If you have not lived up to 12 months in the country, you don't need to bother yourself.

Contact the country's embassy if you don't know what to do except you are hiding something for the duration of your stay there.

Thank you all for your contributions. I don't have anything to hide, the country is Senegal and I was there for studies for a year. I will try to find out online on how to get it then.

Thanks again.

You need to tell the truth when providing information, else you will be guilty of providing false information. You may be required to provide travel history of countries you have spent more than 6 months. Why risk a denial, or a ban if you are required to do so?

Thank you for your swift response. The only worry I have is how to get a PCC from that country since I am not on ground there. I don't know if anyone has submitted PCC from different countries before, how did such person go about it.

Hi all, please, I am wondering if there is anyway DIBP can check the countries one has been to. I am aware they would ask me on the form, but I don't want to list a country as I might not be able to get a PCC from that country.

I would appreciate any suggestion on this. Thanks.

Actually they are everywhere, if you also check canadavisa.com forum, they are the ones there, trying both Canada and OZ at the same time.
