Chinese Government Extreme Persecution of Muslims in the Xinjiang Region

The Chinese government is perpetrating gross human rights violations of the Oppressed Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang region of China.

The fact that the genocidal imperialist barbarians of the West are using this extreme persecution of Muslims in China for their selfish interest and agenda is useless to me as what is important here is to support the Oppressed.

And the fact that some brainwashed Uyghur terrorists fought in Syria should not be use to justify the extreme persecution of Uyghur Muslims in China. Nigerian Sunni extremists also fought in Syria.

Muslims women and girls in the Xinjiang region will not dare wear the Hijab in public. If this is not wicked oppression then what is it?

Muslim governments do not dare criticize China for their own selfish interest due to Chinese power. Muslim Activists should reject this unholy path.

The international community should investigate the existence of Chinese government concentration camps for millions of Muslims in the Xinjiang region.

The Chinese government attempt to erase the Muslim identity of that region is the Peak of wickedness and monstrous evilness. The Communist Soviets took such steps in Central Asia in the past and failed woefully.

The Chinese government officials using the genocidal massacres of innocent and defenseless Muslim civilians by the genocidal imperialist barbarians of the West to justify their extreme persecution of Muslims in the Xinjiang region is simplistic. Two wrongs will never equal right.

Freedom of religion is enshrined in the international Human Rights charter that the Chinese government is signatory to. Trying to change the Muslimness of the Xinjiang region should be resisted by all people of conscience.

The claim by some Saudi assets that Shia Activists do not show support for the Oppressed Sunni Muslims of the Xinjiang region of China for sectarian reasons is grossly unfounded. If we may ask has Saudi Arabia ever condemned the extreme persecution of Chinese Muslims by the Chinese government? It is a known fact that the Chinese government is selling Drones to the Saudi regime that are been used in Yemen.

On a final note, supporting the Oppressed should not be selective under any guise or form.

13th December, 2015: Day of Madness Slaughter of the Nigerian Army During Zaria Massacre

"Mass slaughter of hundreds of men, women and children by soldiers in Zaria and the attempted cover-up of this crime demonstrates an utter contempt for human life and accountability" - Amnesty International 

The genocidal massacre that occured in Zaria in December, 2015, started on the 12th at the Iconic Zaria Hussainiya. The Nigerian army bombarded this religious site with Battle Tanks & Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs). All the hundreds of Worshippers inside that included women, children and infants were brutally slaughtered and all the valuables inside looted by the Nigerian army that included millions of Naira in donations.

13th December, 2015 was the day of madness of the mass murder of innocent and defenseless civilians in Zaria as majority of victims of the #ZariaGenocide were killed by the Nigerian army on that day. The Nigerian army cordon off all the roads leading to Zaria, Passengers were individually searched anybody that has any connection with Shia Islam is isolated and murdered.

"On 13 December 2015 around 12-1pm soldiers attacked the compound of Sheik Ibraheem El-Zakzaky - the leader of Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) Soldiers threw grenades inside the compound that was full of women and children." - Amnesty International

The attack on the Zaria Hussainiya started on 12th December & ended around noon of 13th December, 2015. Then the attacks on the residence of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky at Gyellesu, Zaria, started around 12-1pm of 13th December, 2015.

On 13 December, two buildings within Ibrahim Al-Zakzaky’s compound, one of which was being used as a makeshift medical facility and mortuary, were attacked by soldiers. Aliyu, a 22-year-old student, told Amnesty International that he was shot in the chest outside the compound and was taken inside for treatment: “There were lots of injured people in several rooms. There were dead bodies in a room and also in the courtyard. Around 12-1pm soldiers outside called on people to come out, but people were too scared to go out. We knew they would kill us. Soldiers threw grenades inside the compound. I saw one soldier on the wall of the courtyard shooting inside.”

Towards evening of the 13th all those at the makeshift medical facility were killed by the Nigerian army one by one. Then the Soldiers set fire to the makeshift medical facility in the compound, those who were badly injured and could not escape were burned alive.

From the comprehensive report of the London-based Amnesty International "Unearthing the truth: Unlawful killings and mass cover-up in Zaria", this fact of history was stated:

"One mother described a phone conversation with one of her 19-year-old sons before he was killed alongside his twin brother and their step brother and sister in the compound. 'They are shooting those injured one by one,' he told her.

The Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs) launched by the Nigerian army completely burnt down the residence of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky with him, his wife and four children inside. The Bathroom Boiler became so hot that it exploded and the water it brought our extinguished the fire at that spot. This was what saved the family of Sheikh Zakzaky from being burnt alive in that burning flame �.

On the 14th December, 2015, an infiltrator in the Movement rushed and told the Soldiers that Sheikh Zakzaky and his family are still alive. Soldiers under the command of Col. Abdul K rushed to the burnt house and open fire on the family. Three (3) biological children of Sheikh Zakzaky were slaughtered for covering their father.

On a final note, some families may not be able to recover the remains of their loved ones because they were burnt to their bones. Heartfelt Condolences to Imam Mahdi (ajf), Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and families of the Glorious Martyrs! God congregate them with the Martyrs of Karbala!

Dear World,

Six (6) years ago on this day the Nigerian army under order from President Buhari started the biggest massacre in the history of Nigeria of more than one thousand innocent men, women, children and infants in Zaria. In less than 72 hours (12th-14th December, 2015) more than one thousand innocent Shia civilians were brutally murdered in this genocidal massacre by the Nigerian army.

The only flimsy excuse the genocidal Buhari regime gave was a minor traffic offense of road blockade. Some rascals who are paid agents of the regime blocked the road of the former Nigerian army chief Tukur Buratai to protest the murder of seven (7) Shia civilians by the Nigerian army.

Till this date nobody punished for this heinous atrocities and crimes against humanity and the families of victims of this genocide are not contacted by the Nigerian government.

As I write ✍️ there are multiple Shia mass graves in the suburbs of Kaduna Town; Mando, the NDA permanent site and one other location of victims of this genocide.

We once again call on the International Criminal Court, ICC, to hasten the indictment and arrest of the genocidal criminals that executed this planned genocide.

Northern Nigeria, particularly Muslim northern Nigeria, has become by far the most dangerous place to live in Nigeria— and one of the most dangerous places to live in the entire world. Terrorist bandits have almost literally taken over the region.

Terrorists habitually waylay and burn passengers alive, kidnap Islamiyya and conventional school pupils, murder imams and worshipers in mosques, slaughter innocents in their sleep and incinerate their homes, vandalize and burn harvested crops and farms, and constitute a source of permanent terror.

The carnage and terror are unabating. They are spreading out to previously sedate parts of the region. Niger State, which used to be insulated from communal upheavals, is now becoming the new epicenter of terrorist banditry.

This is clearly the most precarious moment in northern Nigeria’s history. But amid the growing precarity of life in the region, a federal government dominated by northern Muslims at best only pays lip service to security.

Yet there are only muffled, barely audible voices of outrage from everyday northerners. Sure, there are now a few timid, emergency northern social critics who rail against the Buhari regime’s outrageous incompetence and cruel unconcern, but there are no mass protests in the streets and no consistently violent maledictions against Buhari in mosques—like there would have been if the president were a Christian.

Most people in the region initially wanted to conceal the hurt they were nursing because they cared more about the image of Buhari than they cared about their own lives. Although much of northern Nigeria had been drenched in oceans of blood since at least 2017, even as late as February 2020 many people in the region still lived in denial.

Those of us who called out the ineptitude and insouciance of the Buhari regime were smeared, cursed, and ostracized. The emir of my hometown called an emirate council meeting specifically to request me to stop criticizing Buhari. Several people from my place often reached out to me to tell me mosques invoked on me a kind of Islamic imprecation called “al-Qunut.” It’s a special supplication for Allah to destroy someone or something.

My mother would cry on the phone and request me to leave the Buhari regime because she feared that the al-Qunut prayers that brain-dead, low-IQ, Buhari-worshipping morons were invoking against me would destroy me. I ignored her.

I recall a particularly intriguing phone call I received from someone in New Bussa in Niger State in December 2019. New Bussa used to be my local government headquarters until it was ceded to Niger State in the early 1990s. The caller told me all mosques in Kwara and Niger Borgu, my natal region, had been insistently calling forth Allah’s wrath on me through al-Qunut prayers for opposing the Buhari regime and that I should prepare for an incalculable calamity to befall me in the coming months.

I laughed him out of my phone and told him if the imams’ al-Qunut were any good, they should use it to repair the terrible roads in Borgu and cause the governments in Kwara and Niger states to consider them legitimate parts of their states. At the time, the insecurity that had consumed the rest of the North hadn’t come there.

In early February 2020, almost exactly two months after the random caller from New Bussa told me the combined might of the al-Qunut invocations of Borgu mosques in Niger and Kwara states would visit an irrecoverable catastrophe on me unless I stopped criticizing Buhari, the Chief Imam of New Bussa, Malam Habibu, was kidnapped, along with 19 others. One person was murdered. Again, in early September 2021, the Dodo of Wawa in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State was kidnapped.

Of course, these are just unfortunate coincidences. But many of my friends whom I’d told about the call from a New Bussa caller in 2019 reached out to say the al-Qunut against me boomeranged and that it was because of the spiritual fortification I received from my late father who was also an Islamic cleric. That’s superstitious bunkum.

As I pointed out in a previous column, life is too complex to always be amenable to deliberate, predetermined designs. There are coincidences, happenstances, misfortunes, serendipities, flukes, etc. that don’t require planning, that aren't, and need not be, the consequences of machinations or metaphysical forces.

I’m narrating this anecdote just to illustrate the ridiculous extremes much of the Muslim North is prepared to go to conceal Buhari’s doggone incompetence and suffer in silence. Had a southerner or a Christian been president while the North is passing through its current existential throes, Nigeria would have probably collapsed from the weight of righteous anger that would emanate forcefully from us.

Nonetheless, what I have described about Muslim northern Nigeria isn’t unique to it. There is an indwelling human predilection for invidious selectivity in expressions of outrage. We are wired to perceive and interpret reality in ways that reinforce and soothe our predetermined prejudices.

Notice that anytime the terrorist bandits inflict the kind of macabre horrors they are inflicting on Muslim northern Nigeria on Christian northern Nigeria, it usually generates more mass indignation. But Tiv-Jukun sanguinary conflicts or Jukun-Kuteb bloodletting, which are more frequent than you know, barely make the headlines.

And, although the terrorist bandits have murdered more Muslims than Christians (they now even murder their victims while they are praying in mosques), any attacks on Christians are immediately invoked as a “jihad” to exterminate Christians.

A US-based Christian rights activist (who fancies himself as a “human” rights activist) and who feeds conservative Christian groups in America with the misleading information that the terrorist bandits in northern Nigeria are an anti-Christian Muslim militia ticked me off the other day when he sent his factually malnourished pro-Christian propaganda to me on WhatsApp.

As I told him, a group that murders more Muslims than it murders Christians can't be said to be specifically anti-Christian. It's simply anti-human. More Muslims have been murdered in mosques than Christians have been murdered in churches by the terrorist bandits. An Islamic, anti-Christian terror group would spare Muslims and target only Christians.

In fact, a kidnapped Maiduguri-based, Kaduna-bound Muslim journalist by the name of Abdulkareem Haruna who asked the bandits to allow him to pray was denied the opportunity. “I had to offer the morning prayers from my heart,” he wrote in the Premium Times of January 1, 2020. “Islam allows its faithful to pray that way in such a situation. I never expected the criminals who spent the night playing music off their phones, smoking cigarettes, and marijuana to think about praying in the morning.” To call these kinds of nihilistic beasts an anti-Christian Jihadi squad is to be disingenuous.

The opposite would have been true, of course: had the bandits terrorizing Muslim northern Nigeria been Christians or even southerners, Muslim northerners wouldn’t have been the sitting ducks that they are now. Instead of impotently mouthing “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un” and “Allah ya isa,” they would have organized and fought back.

Psychologists who study cognitive biases point out that our default positions as humans is to support our kind, to selectively expose ourselves to and perceive, even retain, only those points of views and perspectives that reinforce our prejudices. It’s often an unconscious process. So, it takes nothing to be prejudiced. It’s effortless. What isn’t effortless is the capacity for conscious distancing, for dispassionate reflection, for self-criticism.

It takes self-reflexivity and self-awareness to rise superior to the default impulses that so readily and so easily crowd and becloud our minds in moments of emotional tension. Very few are capable of this, and that’s why some people question the practical utility of the idea of deliberative democracy—the idea of government by rational conversation.

For a recent example, read the cacophony of infantile rants that came from Yoruba nationalists and Pentecostal Christian zealots when I called out the systematic oppression of Yoruba Muslims in their land. Many of these commentators imagine themselves to be “progressive,” are perpetually obsessed with pointing out what is wrong with the North, but a simple pointing out of the speck in their eyes, which should have provided an opportunity for introspection and self-critique, inspired insane fits of apoplexy.

Since then, no week goes by without video clips of the harassment and sometimes physical assault of Hijab-wearing Yoruba Muslim women, which the mainstream media in the Southwest conveniently ignores. For example, a video circulated of a Professor Lawal Ajibade, said to be the dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, physically and forcefully removing the hijab of a married Muslim woman. That’s physical assault.

Similar videos, including one where Muslim school students were forced to attend a Reinhard Bonnke conversion session in Ibadan, have trended in Yoruba Muslim social media and covered by such online news sites as Sahara Reporters and Legit.ng. But none of the triggered columnists who hyperventilated about Yorubaland being a matchless Nirvana of religious harmony said a word.

So, it isn’t only northern Muslims who are hypocrites. Most people are. But it is easier to accuse others of selective outrage and double standards than to recognize it in ourselves. Those of us who are critical of our people and of ourselves aren’t self-hating; we are only self-reflexive. The world would be an infinitely better place if we can all question our taken-for-granted assumptions and acknowledge our cognitive frailties.

Elizabeth Bird and historian Fraser Ottanelli estimated that between 500 and 800 people were killed. David Scanlon of Quaker Relief Services reported that 759 men and boys were killed, while journalist Colin Legum wrote that 700 died."

The Nigerian 2nd Division under the General Officer Commanding (GOC) General Murtala Mohammed Ibrahim and ably assisted by Col. Haruna Ibrahim Taiwo executed the Asaba massacre. The genocidal criminals that executed the Asaba massacre spared women children and infants and it was widely reported that the hundreds of innocent civilians killed by the Nigerian army were men and boys.

The former Chief of Army Staff, General Tukur Buratai ably assisted by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Nigerian Army’s 1st Division, General Adeniyi Oyebade, a Major General, executed the Zaria Genocide of 12th-14th December, 2015. Women, children and infants were not spared during the Zaria massacre unlike the Asaba massacre as some of them were burnt and buried alive by the Nigerian army according to the comprehensive report of the London-based Amnesty International on the massacre.

It is important to note that the Asaba massacre was in a war situation during the Nigerian Civil War (1967-1970) while the Zaria massacre was in a peaceful setting in 2015.

The only reason given by the genocidal Buhari regime was a minor traffic offense of road blockade. Some agents of the regime blocked the road of the former Nigerian army chief Tukur Buratai after the killing of seven (7) Shia civilians who were in Zaria for the yearly Flag Changing ceremony at the Iconic Zaria Hussainiya. All of them were killed and the Hussainiya completely destroyed.

What happened in Zaria between 12th-14th December, 2015, was not an ordinary massacre of innocent and defenseless civilians, it was a genocide and the ethnic cleansing of Shia Muslims in Nigeria. When the Nigerian army was mass murdering hundreds of Shia civilians they were all chanting "No Shia in Nigeria!". Shia is a sect in Islam. During the massacre, the Nigerian army specifically targeted the reproductive organs of Shia women and girls screaming "No Shia in Nigeria!". Most of the women and girls died when the Nigerian army shot them in their private parts and stabbed their breasts with riffle bayonets. Few survived.

It is important to note that only the King Salman of Saudi Arabia publicly celebrated the Zaria massacre in a phone call to President Buhari four days after the massacre. We should also note that the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman in April, 2018, stated in an interview with American Times Magazine that they are behind the Zaria massacre "to curtail the growing influence of Iran on the African continent". The genocidal Buhari regime has not denied this statement.

On a final note, hundreds of families of victims of the Zaria massacre are still waiting for Justice for the genocidal massacre of their loved ones. They want to give their loved ones proper Islamic burial.

About the Planned Protest on the Unprecedented Insecurity in Northern Nigeria

I saw on social media platforms Youths of the North are planning protest against the massive and unprecedented insecurity in the region.

As a member of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, I am a veteran when it comes to protest and organizing it.

My first advice is all the protest MUST be peaceful. Violent protest stand condemned in totality. What Sheikh Zakzaky taught us is peaceful protest.

Those organizing these protests have a huge responsibility as hoodlums will try and hijack the protest by looting valuables of people and burning Government assets.

The genocidal Buhari regime sponsored hoodlums and hijacked the recent #EndSARS protest to destroy the image of the protest. People should know that those presently in power in Nigeria are the most evil savages among men.

Call For Justice For the Victims of Zaria Massacre

Paid Advertorial in major Nigerian Newspapers today by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky titled "Call For Justice For the Victims of Zaria Massacre" signed by Professor Isa Hassan Mshelgaru of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

The genocidal Buhari regime has not contacted a single family for their loses. Some of the families who lost multiple children were kidnapped by the Buhari regime, dumped in the dilapidated Kaduna prison and framed with murder! Three (3) competent courts in Kaduna state freed all of them after spending more than 3, 4 and 5 years in the dilapidated Kaduna prison.

Peaceful protesters flooded the Nigerian streets demanding for Justice for victims of the brutal and inhuman #ZariaGenocide. Hundreds of these peaceful protesters were brutally murdered by the Nigerian army and police, thousands injured some with life threatening injuries and thousands imprisoned.

#NB: Professor Isa Hassan Mshelgaru lost a daughter during the Zaria Genocide. He has not seen her dead body till now. She was an undergraduate University student at ABU, Zaria.

The 200km Highway of Kaduna-Abuja is presently under the occupation of armed bandits. All major Highways in Zamfara state are under the occupation of armed bandits. The same with Sokoto, Katsina and Niger states.

Just recently 42 Passengers were burnt alive in Sokoto state by the murderous terrorists occupying our roads. Yes, they were burnt ALIVE!!!

My question here is:

We are all Muslims, there is nothing wrong for us to look at ourselves in the face and telling each other the Truth that will benefit Islam and Muslims.
