Nigerian University Lecturers (ASUU) has been on strike for nearly seven months, since February 14, over alleged unfulfilled deals. Among the lecturers’ demands are better funding and equipment of Nigerian public universities and increase in remunerations.

"Strike action, also called labor strike, labour strike, or simply strike, is a work stoppage, caused by the mass refusal of employees to work. A strike usually takes place in response to employee grievances. Strikes became common during the Industrial Revolution, when mass labor became important in factories and mines."

Most strikes are undertaken by labor unions during collective bargaining as a last resort. The object of collective bargaining is for the employer and the union to come to an agreement over wages, benefits, and working conditions.

The first historically certain account of strike action was towards the end of the 20th dynasty, under Pharaoh Ramses III in ancient Egypt on 14 November in 1152 BC. The artisans of the Royal Necropolis at Deir el-Medina walked off their jobs because they had not been paid. The Egyptian authorities raised the wages.

Inference:

Labor strike action has always been the last resort of the Oppressed and downtrodden for better working condition and improve renumeration. Buhari/Adamu Adamu want to punish Workers for going on strike "to serve as a deterrent to any worker planning to go on strike in the future". Please someone should tell us which level of wickedness is this? UPDATE: Tukur Mamu the CEO of Herald media and Press Secretary of Sheikh Ahmed Gumi, the Wahhabi cleric, has been arrested in Egypt and was repatriated back to Nigeria. He and his family were arrested by Egyptian authorities yesterday after while arriving Egypt.

Tukur Mamu was repatriated back to Nigeria by the interpol. Mamu Tukur arrived Kano at about 1355hrs via EgyptAir as the Nigerian authorities have taken him into custody for further questioning.

Tukur Mamu is the negotiator for Bandits on Abuja-Kaduna train victims. He was also involved in negotiations with BokoHaram terrorists in the past.

Someone that attended this rally in Sokoto States informed me that it was massive. The Sokoto State Governor @AWTambuwal is mobilizing the North West for the PDP presidential candidate @atiku.

In 2007 while I was living in one of the North West States, Buhari just lost the Presidential election to Umar Yar'adua and some Friends and I came in front of my Friend's house condemning Yar'adua and Obasanjo. I read the report three times to truly believed what I saw. Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, just made a massive move.
