PoliticsPresident Buhari Only Lifted Bokoharam Terrorists And Bandits Out Of Poverty by Elbinawi(op): 7:33pm On Jun 13, 2021
In his #DemocracyDay2021 speech, president Buhari fraudulently claimed that his regime "lifted 10.5m Nigerians out of poverty in the last 2 years".

I think this wicked Old man is being sarcastic. The truth of the matter is that the genocidal Buhari regime lifted 10.5m Nigerians out of wealth into poverty, death and anguish.

The purchasing power of Nigerians has drastically reduced due to the archaic economic policies of the useless Buhari regime. Go to our markets and ask traders.

Those Tyrant Buhari lifted out of poverty are his #BokoHaram allies and armed bandits cousins. BokoHaram and ISIS terrorists are more richer now as they gave Ramadan palliatives to hungry Nigerians for the first time. Nigerians recently took 180 million Naira to the bush to pay armed bandits as ransom payment for kidnapped University students.

PoliticsDemocracy Day - Nothing To Celebrate, Come Out & Protest by Elbinawi(op): 6:11am On Jun 12, 2021
Yesterday's NTA interview of #TyrantBuhari was empty of substance as predicted. If not for the sake of Activism I would have not wasted my time for it.

The bloodthirsty Tyrant Buhari accused Nigerians of "forgetting my achievements". The question is where are the achievements? This genocidal criminal can not present the multiple Shia mass graves that he created in Kaduna and Kano states as "achievements".

The illiterate barbarian is desperate to change the narrative of history. Today, June 12th, is Democracy Day in Nigeria. The Tyrant will give a speech to mark the occasion. Definitely it will be another empty ranting of the monumental fraudster and intergenerational failure.

And today Nigerians planned worldwide protest #June12thProtest to protest the genocidal massacres, massive and unprecedented insecurity, massive corruption, extreme poverty capital of the world, top-of-the-world unemployment, extreme nepotism and other elements of the Bad Governance of the Buhari regime.

Today Nigerians are not celebrating because there is nothing to celebrate. Nigerians will match to denounce the notorious child-killer who buried innocent children ALIVE in the multiple Shia mass graves #ZariaGenocide.

PoliticsPRESS STATEMENT Free Zakzaky Now, 2000 Days In Detention Isn’t 20 Days! by Elbinawi(op): 6:03pm On Jun 08, 2021
PRESS STATEMENT

*Free Zakzaky now, 2000 days in detention isn’t 20 days!*

On Thursday, 02/06/2021 we marked the 2000th day of illegal detention of the leader of Islamic movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, following a planned state terrorism meted on him and his followers by Buhari regime which left over a thousand members of the Movement, including women and children either dead or missing, while several amongst them were buried alive. Peaceful free Zakzaky nationwide protests were held, attended by tens of thousands of Nigerians who marched asking Buhari regime to obey court order and free the revered Sheikh Zakzaky from illegal detention since 2016.

The Federal High Court in Abuja ruled that our leader and his wife should be released. It described their detention which began in December 2015 as “illegal and unconstitutional.” This might be part of a wider effort to cover up the gruesome crimes committed by members of the security forces in Zaria in December 2015 that left hundreds dead. And the refusal of the regime to comply with that court order has demonstrated its flagrant and dangerous contempt for the court of law.

However, we consider the silence of many Nigerians over the injustice and incarceration of Sheikh Zakzaky as the most unfortunate situation in the history of Nigeria. Their silence on this great injustice is not different with those that supported it. Nigerians should remember "If you are neutral in situation of injustice, you have chosen the side of oppressors." Most of the time the silence of those that supposed to talk is more painful than the jubilation of opportunists, to borrow the word of Martin Lurther King JR: "In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends".

Nonetheless, it is not too late for Nigerians to correct their mistakes of supporting the oppressors masquerading as the cabals of Buhari regime, by rising their voices against the atrocities and injustice on the symbol of unity; Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. This will help the country to face the real enemies and their challenges. We believe that, "the world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing." Hence as we are marking the two thousands days of injustice and incarceration of our leader, we pray to Almighty Allah to enlighten the hearts of Nigerians to embrace the path of justice and rise up against tyranny.

Indeed as we approach six years since the most heinous atrocities Nigeria has ever committed against its own citizens in peace time, we are today reaping the consequences of our silence and failure to speak out when the Nigerian military laid siege on Gyallesu, massacring hundreds of followers of Sheikh Zakzaky and burying them in mass graves. Their crime was not taking up arms against the state like the tribal separatist of the Southeast and Southwest, Boko Haram or bandits pillaging the north, but for allegedly blocking a road for a General in the Nigerian Army. Despite the international uproar, not a single person was brought to trial for the crimes, instead Sheikh Zakzaky is standing trial for concocted crimes he has nothing to do with. Indeed it is Sheikh Zakzaky that is standing trial for crimes against him and his Movement.

Today we are living witnesses to the fact that Nigeria is dysfunctional, insecure, and tottering perilously on the brink of a precipice because of the incompetence, irresponsibility, and intolerance of the Buhari regime, easily the vilest and most insular regime in Nigeria’s entire history.

To heal our wounds, we must remember that nobody is safe until everybody is safe, and justice for the detained leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria is a precursor to our stability and entrenchment of justice in our country. It has been said, “The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.” The Nigerian authorities must immediately comply with a High Court order and release the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife from detention.

As we march on relentlessly in pursuit of justice for Sheikh Zakzaky and all those killed in Zaria in December, 2015, we wish to express our profound gratitude to all those who supported us, especially national and international human rights organization and the media houses here at home and the diaspora. We urge them to keep on with the struggle until Buhari regime do the needful and release our leader.

PoliticsNigeria’s GDP Reveals The People’s Anxieties, The Government’s Insincerities by Elbinawi(op): 3:08pm On Jun 06, 2021
Someone sent this voluminous article to my email, I will share an excerpt with Friends. Happy reading! -Elbinawi

Nigeria’s GDP reveals the People’s Anxieties, the Government’s Insincerities

The Workforce that produced 99.4% of Nigeria’s GDP received 0.6% worth of medical care and 1.7% worth of educational support compared to Ghana’s 4.4% educational support.

The Gross Domestic Product of an Unhealthy Labour Force

Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product’s (GDP’s) structure reveals a huge gap in the physical and psychosocial wellbeing of the working population. The GDP measures the Naira value of the products and services provided by the population in a country, state or region.

The services sector of the Nigerian economy contributed 54% of the GDP, above the Industrial sector (24%) and the Agricultural sector (22%). However, the measure of output from “human health and social services” is less than 1% (0.6%).

For the monetary value of a sector’s output to be critically low as this, at least two things could be responsible. It’s either there is low investment in Nigeria’s health services sector, and thus the little number of people employed in the sector or the enormous labour output in the sector is undervalued in terms of payments and remunerations, or both.

The answers are not far fetched. What Nigeria’s health data and the frequent strikes by health workers reveal is that healthcare centres are underequipped, hospitals are understaffed, the few health workers are underpaid, and 200 million people in need of adequate health care services are underserved.

While decrying the state of infant mortality during the Nigerian Medical Association’s annual Physician’s week, Dr Olamide Brown remarked that “The budget for health care per person in Norway is $6000; the United Kingdom is about $4000; but in Nigeria, it is $6.

The UK is spending $200bn for 65 million citizens on health care whereas Nigeria is spending $1bn on health care for its about 200 million population.”

A similar comparison by Aljazeera states, “While the annual healthcare threshold per person in the US is $10,000, in Nigeria it is just $6.”

Nigeria’s Human Resources in Health (HRH) Rankings

A Summary of Nigeria’s Health Indices

Nigeria’s number of doctors to population dropped from 0.45 per 1,000 people in 2016 to 0.38 to 1,000 people in 2018. This slowed down to 0.37 medical doctors to 10000 persons in 2020, according to the Federal Ministry of Health.

One of the reasons for this decline in the ratio of Nigeria’s health workers to the population is the brain drain of its health professionals.

A WHO report observes “The international migration of health workers is increasing. There has been a 60% rise in the number of migrant doctors and nurses working in OECD countries over the last decade.”

However, to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) benchmark, the International Labour Organisation has set a minimum threshold of 4.11 skilled health workers (physicians, nurses/midwives) per 1,000 people, while the WHO set it at 4.45 skilled health workers per 1,000 people.

Currently, Nigeria is at 2.0 skilled health workers (physicians, nurses/midwives) to 1,000 people.
PoliticsNigeria: The North Vs South Soft War by Elbinawi(op): 8:44am On Jun 06, 2021
Nigeria: The North vs South soft war

There is growing soft war in Nigeria of North vs South due to the genocidal massacres, official rascality and irresponsiblility, and extreme nepotism of the genocidal Buhari regime.

How can the three (3) remaining children of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky take side in this emerging soft war? Their father is from the North while their mother is from the South. We should all remember that six (6) of their siblings were brutally murdered by the Nigerian army in less than 2 years.

Oppressed Nigerians must understand the fact that the problems of the Nigerian state is not North vs South or Muslims vs Christians. The problem of Nigeria is our wicked Oppressors vs the suffering Oppressed.

Sadly, our wicked and evil Oppressors are very clever. They wickedly exploited our fault lines of region, religion and tribe to divide the Oppressed. While the Nigerian Oppressed are busy fighting each other and killing themselves, the wicked Oppressors are united looting the public treasury.

#BokoHaram terrorists and murderous armed bandits are only killing the Oppressed. How many wicked Oppressors have these murderous criminals killed? Answer me, how manyhuh

It is not an understatement to say that Nigeria is bleeding today from all sides. Armed Bandits just slaughtered 90+ innocent civilians in Kebbi and Kaduna states. These are Oppressed Nigerians mass murdered because the wicked Oppressors refused to protect them.

We should remember that half of the 300,000 Policemen in Nigeria are protecting the less than 1% VIPs. Some VIPs have 40 Policemen protecting them and their families. Some have 60 Policemen. These policemen are paid with taxpayers money.

I call on all Oppressed Nigerians to stop fighting each other and let all of us face our wicked and evil Oppressors. #WakeUpNigeria

PoliticsZakzaky: 2000 Days Of Injustice & Incarceration By Engr Bala Abdullahi, Phd by Elbinawi(op): 2:56pm On Jun 04, 2021
2000 Days of Injustice and Incarceration

By Engr. Bala Abdullahi, PhD

Today, Thursday, 3rd June, 2021 marked the 2000th day of illegal detention of the leader of Islamic movement Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his Wife. The illegal detention followed a planned state terrorism meted on Sheikh Zakzaky and his followers by Buhari - led government. The massacre left over thousand members of the movement (including female and children) either dead or missing.

After the massacre, some Nigerians decided to either be directly with the oppressors (Buhari led goverment) or remain silent. Since lots have been said on the Oppressors, this piece will review and concentrate on the situation of their supporters and those that kept mute on the atrocities. The piece will not make reference to any divine book, rather to the situation on ground.

1. In Nigeria , perhaps everywhere in the world, leaders are elected with anticipation of nation building and betterment of it's system. Nigerians elected Buhari not to kill their own relatives in Zaria, rather to revert the wrongs of his predecessors. Unfortunately his actions turned to be against their wills and anticipations of better Nigeria, but despite the situation why do you support him or kept mute on his injustice?

2. Oh Nigerians! How do you view the security situation of the country between the days under review? Everyone knows that no place is safe from banditry, so called Boko Haram, cattle rustlers, kidnapping, IPOB , etc.

3. Food security; what is happening to the prices of food items? Few Nigerians are able to feed their family three times a day, no to talk of their favourites. The prices of common food items have sky rocketed beyond the common man's reach.

4. Unemployment; after you jubilated the killing of good citizens of our dear country in Zaria in 2015, did Buhari provide employment to the teeming youths?

5. Oh Nigerians! Have you pondered on the dividends of democracy you reap under Buhari administration within these 2000 days in terms of increase in prices of utilities like electricity and petroleum products ?

6. Have you critically examined the rate of declination of the value of our currency against others within the last six years of this government ?

7. Oh Nigerians! Is it not time for us to think about the future of our country vis-a-vis the increase of our foreign and local debts.

8. How about the security of your business places and sustainability in many states, especially in Kaduna state, where the #ZariaMassacre took place?

9. Education, which is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world according to the saying of Nelson Mandela, is suffering under this administration within it's six years. How many of you are able to send your children to school at different levels withing the years under review? This is not unconnected to the economic hardship and frequent hike in the school fees by your favourite government. Frequent strike actions by all unions on our campuses are the orders of the day.

10. Oh Nigerians! Please ponder on the situation of our health services during this period where the present administration directed lots of our resources in serving their foreign masters' wills.

11. As a Nigerian that jubilated the Zaria pogrom, have you pondered on the happenings in the country within the six years? The situation has deteriorated to the extent that some people are describing the country as a "FAILED state" under the watch of the most applauded leader.

12. Have we thought of the long time disease - "corruption" which is on the increase by the day? Fighting this stigma is one of the promises of this government which followed the path of others unfulfilled declarations.

From the foregoing , it is clear that the attrocities of this government on Malam Zakzaky did not and will never benefit the country and it's citizenry. But rather it is for the benefit of their masters in US, Israel and Saudi Arabia, to pave way for their continued occupation of our land.

Mee:

The bloodthirsty Wahhabi terrorists are the ones always attacking despite the fact that the Nigerian army knows their bases and location. The question is why?

We should remember that the grand patron of BokoHaram is the current Nigerian president and an Al-Qaeda terrorist #Pantami is the minister of communication.

But if it is peaceful protest the cowardly Nigerian Army is the one attacking. The Nigerian army can not attack Sambisa forest where bases of BokoHaram are located but they can attack peaceful #FreeZakzaky protest in Abuja & kill unarmed civilians.

Politics#2000_days Of The Illegal Detention Of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky by Elbinawi(op): 12:44am On Jun 03, 2021
#2000_Days of the Illegal Detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky

Every year with the beginning of the Islamic Month of Rabiu Awwal (3rd month of the Islamic calendar), the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky use to observe Flag changing ceremony in the iconic Zaria Hussainiya. The Black Flag of mourning the Martyrdom of the beloved Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (sa), Imam Hussein (as), is dropped and the Flag of celebration of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (sa) is raised.

Unknown to the participants in December, 2015, a Saudi-sponsored genocidal massacre was planned against members of the Movement. In the last quarter of 2015, Saudi Television stations were broadcasting the phenomenal growth of Shia Islam in Nigeria with anger. Their anger was centered on two issues: the iconic Zaria Hussainiya which is the biggest in Africa and the leader of the Movement, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.

Exactly two weeks before 12th December, the leader of BokoHaram, Abubakar Shekau, released a video threatening the Nigerian Shia community with genocide. Shekau specifically mentioned the name of Sheikh Zakzaky.

To give excuse for the genocide, a charade of "road blockade" was arranged with TV cameras. The Nigerian army spent between 12th - 14th December of 2015 doing nothing but mass Killing innocent men, women, children and infants. The iconic Zaria Hussainiya that was so much hated by the Saudis was first attacked with battle tanks and Rapid Propelled Grenades (RPG). The hundreds of Worshippers inside were all killed. The Hussainiya was bombarded and totally destroyed. All the valuable things inside that included millions of Naira in donation were looted by the Nigerian army. The Nigerian army again launched two prone attacks on the residence of Sheikh Zakzaky and the Dar ul-Rahama graveyard. Hundreds of men, women, children and infants were brutally slaughtered by the murderous Nigerian Army.

A hasty mass graves burial was organized by the Nigerian army after the brutal and inhuman genocide. They bodies of the dead and injured were loaded into dozens of Trucks, transported for more than 70 kilometers and mass buried in the multiple Shia mass graves in Mando, the permanent site of the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) in same Mando and one other site. All the vestiges of the genocide were erased by Kaduna state Governor, Nasir Elrufai.

The family of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky was showered with bullets by the Nigerian army, three (3) biological sons of the Sheikh were instantly killed while using their bodies to protect their father. The Sheikh and his wife were fatally shot and injured. His left eye totally destroyed by bullet.

The Nigerian army abducted 200+ of those that survived the genocide, most of them injured with bullet wounds and Elrufai dumped them in the dilapidated Kaduna prison. Some of them died from the bullet wounds due to lack of medical treatment. Elrufai fabricated fraudulent trump-up charges against them and wickedly framed them with murder. They spent more than 4 years in that dilapidated Kaduna prison before two Kaduna high courts freed all of them with "No Case Submission", meaning the government has no single iota of evidence against them.

Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife immediately after the genocide sued the Nigerian government for the enforcement of their fundamental rights. On 2nd December, 2016, a Federal High Court in Abuja passed the judgment that their detention is illegal, unconstitutional and unlawful. The court awarded them damages and ordered the Buhari regime to build a befitting house for them in the place of their choice. The genocidal Buhari regime contemptuously disobeyed the court Judgement and kept them in the illegal detention despite their multiple health challenges.

Due to the massive street protest and rallies by Nigerians and the world over, the Buhari regime via the Kaduna state government fabricated fraudulent trump-up charges against them and also framed them with murder. The same fraudulent charges that those two courts dismissed!

Today mark exactly #2000_Days of their illegal detention. Massive protest for their release is still taking place. Some of the protests were violently attacked by state actors and hundreds of peaceful protesters killed and thousands injured.

The state actors who executed this brutal and inhuman genocide are still free with no single person arrested. They are today free because they acted the orders of president Buhari.

On a final note, the Saudi-sponsored brutal and inhuman slaughter of more than one thousand innocent men, women, children and infants in Zaria in December, 2015, is a crime of the century. The families of victims of the genocide are patiently waiting for Justice.

President Buhari said:

The genocidal killer #TyrantBuhari just issued an open threat to kill Nigerians. It is obvious the huge success of yesterday's #SitAtHome protest by Biafran secessionist agitators in South East Nigeria has unmasked his murderous innate nature.

Buhari is a cold blooded murderer, make no mistake about that. This wicked mass murderer burnt innocent men, women, children and infants alive at the residence of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. This genocidal barbarian always lust for the blood of the innocent.

Secessionist agitation is not a criminal offense. All part of the world there exist secessionist agitations. Scotland want to break away from the UK. Catalonians want to breakaway from Spain.
