BREAKING: Bandits Threaten To Kill Remaining Students Abducted From Kaduna Private Varsity http://ow.ly/qxAi50ED7HW |
*What Have We Done For the Next Generation?, by Hassan Gimba* Our next-generation may not know what our generation knew, may not have what we had. We have failed to give them what the previous generation gave us. The peace and tranquillity we knew, the comfort and ease we had, the security and brotherhood we enjoyed, the careful laying of the foundation for our future we witnessed – all these we have failed to transfer to the next generation because we have thrown away the baton. The problems of Nigeria are such that you get lost when talking about them. Where do you start from? The betrayal of confidence by leadership that much hope was placed on? Or is it the systemic and systematic decay in its affairs? The “me first” attitude of its people that see the country as milking cow? Our lack of seriousness over what we should be serious about? In Chinua Achebe’s book _The Trouble With Nigeria_, published in 1983, he professed that the only trouble with Nigeria is the failure of leadership. He wrote that with outstanding leaders, Nigeria could resolve its inherent problems, such as tribalism, lack of patriotism, social injustice and the cult of mediocrity, indiscipline, and corruption. However, Joseph F. Mali, in his _A Quiet Revolution: Some Social and Religious Perspectives on the Nigerian Crisis_, thinks differently. He thinks corruption and failed leadership are not at the heart of the Nigerian crisis. He opined that though corruption and misrule have done terrible harm to the country; they are by-products of something in the same way smoke is the by-product of fire. The real trouble with Nigeria, says Mali, “is the lifestyle of profound selfishness the people and their leaders have in common”. And the nation still bleeds because of this evil, he said. Unless Nigerians cure this (disease), he maintains, no system of government is likely to succeed. “In vain do Nigerians seek political solutions as long as selfishness remains their credo!” Since Nigeria’s problem is moral, Mali insists, the remedy must also be ethical. He proposes *A Quiet Revolution* as a cure for Nigeria’s ailment. This revolution is not a silent coup to overthrow the Nigerian government. It is not a French-style rebellion with masses on the streets and peasants in the country put an end to centuries of absolute monarchy. Rather, the *Quiet Revolution* is an interior change, an individual transformation. As long as this change has not happened, Mali declares, it will be difficult to repair and restore Nigeria. This is quite in tandem with the Qur’anic verse that says Allah (SWT) changes not the condition of people until they change what is in their hearts. Here, the verse is widely quoted out of context by people wanting to give their idols in power excuses. People don’t just wake up and at same time say: “We must change.” He always gives them someone who sensitises and organises them by leading them as their guide. Such a person is the leader; even the greatest revolutions and mass uprisings in history have guides, so it still comes back to the question of leadership. God sends prophets to lead people to cleanse their hearts and become new. One by one, people change internally and get transformed individually, as Mali said, and collectively a changed society is born. There is always the one who is the society’s mirror.. In July last year, I wrote on this page “God raises the living out of the dead and brings forth light out of the dark, He raises from among a people their type who leads them from deprivation to well being. Out of the palace of the Pharaoh, He raised Moses (AS); out of the family and society of idolaters, He brought forth Abraham (AS), and out of the heathendom of Arabia He revealed Muhammad (SAW). “Chaka the Zulu founded the Zulu Empire and led them for twelve years before he was assassinated on September 22, 1828. He moulded his people into a dominating fighting force never seen before in southern Africa. Mao Zedong, known as Chairman Mao, was the founding father of The People’s Republic of China and laid the foundation of what China now is. You can go on and count leaders who changed their people and their countries’ fortunes by leading by example. Cuba’s Fidel Castro was one; we also had Muammar Gaddafi from Libya, Dr Martin Luther King who raised the consciousness of Blacks, Dr Muhammad Mahathir of Malaysia and Mahatma Gandhi of India. “These leaders raised the consciousness level of the people and changed them to better human beings, by being what they wanted their people to be. They did not look their people in the face condescendingly and patronisingly, point a finger at them singing “change” while they indulged in the vices of yore. Mao viewed such leaders as “swollen in head, weak in legs, sharp in tongue but empty in belly.” Perchance this is one reason in 1999, years after he published his work, and despite Mali’s treatise, Achebe still maintained that Nigeria’s problem is that of leadership. He had returned to the country after a decade overseas, receiving treatment for a back injury sustained in an automobile accident. At his home in the South East, he met with Cunliffe-Jones to discuss the Nigerian crisis. Achebe’s view had not changed at all. He reiterated his old message: “If poor leadership caused the problem then, it is still the case today.” Someone once explained our social and political reality: “those in power enjoyed the oil money while most other Nigerians languished in poverty. The masses, he said, could be described as innocent sufferers, like the biblical Job, or the Suffering Servant of Yahweh. (Nigerian masses) watch their leaders ruin the nation but could do nothing to stop them”, he concluded. Unfortunately, the quality of leadership seems to dwindle, deteriorating by the day despite Nigeria being more populated than forty years ago when Achebe wrote his political polemic. We have more professors, more PhDs, more professionals, more intellectuals, more exposure, more enlightenment – more everything. Yet we have regressed so much concerning providing quality leaders and leadership in the country. Because of this dysfunction in providing formal leadership responsive to the yearnings of people, tribal quasi-irredentists and jingoists have appeared on the landscape, setting the agenda. The South-East produced Zik of Africa, Eton College-trained Ojukwu, Kingsley Mbadiwe of the Timber and Calibre rhetoric and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary fame. It also produced Alex Ekwueme, intellectual giants like Chuba Okadigbo, etc. Now it has a Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The South West sired Obafemi Awolowo, Adelabu Adegoke, Lamidi Adedibu, MKO Abiola, Lateef Jakande, Adeniran Ogunsanya, Pa Adekunle Ajasin, etc. But now it is Sunday Igboho after Ganiyu Adams. The North? The North that produced Aminu Kano, Hassan Usman Katsina, Shehu Shagari, Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, Waziri Ibrahim has no one now, sadly. It has been searching since the demise of the Sardauna of Sokoto 56 years ago. The lack of leaders who love this country has been our problem. While the current crop of leaders had the best of everything, they have not improved on what they got for those coming after them. The great public school system that groomed them is no more. They prefer to send their children abroad for tertiary education and private schools for their primary and secondary education. The American government recently said about 14,000 Nigerians pursuing graduate and undergraduate degrees across communities in their country spent $501 million (about N190 billion) last year. And this is just America! The public health system that took care of them while growing up is a shadow of itself as private hospitals and clinics have taken over. The leaders now indulge in medical tourism, spending billions of naira in hospitals abroad. In 2016, Price Waterhouse Coopers in its report stated that Nigerians spend $1 billion annually on medical tourism. It also said that 60 per cent of it is from oncology, orthopaedic, nephrology and cardiology patients. When the world was virtually locked down this time last year because of Covid-19, the average Nigerian patiently waited for conditions to ease. He believed that having realised our incapacity, Nigeria will witness massive developments in its health and education sector and an aggressive drive on food production. Good leaders would also think that way. It is unfortunate our generation has not replicated for the next generation what the last generation did for us. Instead of even giving them peace to do for themselves what we failed to do for them, we are bristling and threatening to push them into turmoil. Turmoil and uncertainty. We better retreat because the path we are treading will not stand us well in the books of posterity. If we have failed in taking care of their welfare, we should not fail in securing their lives in a united Nigeria and giving them peace to thrive. |

The Buhari Regime Lack Money For Weapons & Additional Military Manpower Before president Buhari screaming for help from USA due to the unprecedented insecurity, a meeting was held to decide where to seek help. Some countries were penciled down: * US * UK * Russia * China * Saudi * Iran * The Israeli regime Analysis: The US and UK regimes are imperialist regimes that do not give weapons for free. Either you use money to buy their expensive weapons or you become their colony where they can loot whatever they want from your country. Buhari is a bloodthirsty illiterate barbarian that is totally ignorant of the workings of international diplomacy of power equation. The Buhari regime first asked the UK regime for help through the diplomatic channels. The UK regime sent the minister of African affairs to Nigeria. Russia and China will also want money for their weapons though their weapons are cheaper compared to Western weapons. Buhari committed a big blunders by paying for US-made warplanes upfront without the planes. Going for Russian or Chinese warplanes that are available was the best option. When the Buhari gang of bloodthirsty killers visited Saudi Arabia immediately after the #ZariaGenocide, the Saudi Wahhabi regime promised them weapons. No single bullet send to them till date. The savage Saudi Wahhabi regime will NEVER send weapons that will be use to kill BokoHaram as the Saudi regime and BokoHaram are one and the same. #Wahhabism Revolutionary Iran will not help Nigeria with weapons with a regime that murdered thousands of Followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. Iran has valuable experience in the fight against murderous Wahhabi Terrorism and Iran has manufactured hybrid weapons that have been tested on the Battlefield and are effective. The former Nigerian army chief Buratai held several meetings with officials of the Israeli regime in the past for weapons. The Israeli regime has not responded till date. Conclusion The extremely corrupt Buhari regime lack money to purchase weapons and addition to the manpower of the military. Nigeria is broke financially. The public treasury has been looted by Buhari's cronies. The massive insecurity that Nigeria is facing today can not just naturally stop. It has to be stopped by injection of quality weapons for security forces, massive manpower recruitment for the military, and proper planning and execution. A responsible government would have ordered the 150,000 policemen guarding the VIPs to withdraw and send them to check armed banditry. Sadly, the useless Buhari regime is grossly irresponsible. The Nigerian army alone need at least 100,000 additional manpower to properly face and challenge the unprecedented insecurity that Nigeria is facing today. The police is also in need of the same number or more. Nigeria presently has no money to pay the salaries of these needed addition. Harun Elbinawi elbinawi@yahoo.com Elbinawi. |
Is Nigeria on the brink of collapse? Banditry, abductions, terrorism, extreme poverty capital of the world, Number two in unemployment rating in the world and loud calls for secession are the order of the day in Nigeria today. Is Nigeria on the brink of collapse? This is possible. The Nigeria of today has all the ingredients of a failed state. The extreme wickedness and nepotism of the dementia mannequin #Buhari has significantly weakened the bond of cohesion of the Nigerian state. The Nigerian army is overstretched, poorly equiped, extremely corrupt and on the retreat. The Nigerian police is another armed banditry group due to extensive extortion. And the regime itself is a Terrorist Organization with an Al-Qaeda terrorist #Pantami as the minister of communication. Murderous armed bandits carve out their sphere of influence and control and millions of Nigerians pay taxes to them for survival. There are countless "state within the state" in the Nigerian state of today. Spaces outside the control of the Nigerian government. And the bloodthirsty illiterate barbarian Buhari will only call on his Western masters to send soldiers to rescue the situation. This genocidal criminal buried innocent children ALIVE in the multiple Shia mass graves just to please his Saudi masters. Pray For Nigeria! #ElbinawiTweets |
This country is run by bloodthirsty terrorists, that is the main reason why terrorists are having a field day in Nigeria today. The Buhari gang of bloodthirsty killers murdered thousands of Shia civilians just to please the Saudi Wahhabi savages. The genocidal Buhari regime is notorious on two things: 1/ Freeing BokoHaram terrorists 2/ Massacre of peaceful protesters Thousands of bloodthirsty BokoHaram terrorists have been Freed by this regime and hundreds of peaceful #FreeZakzaky protesters have been Killed. The lack of positive and aggressive response to the issue of armed banditry in Northern Nigeria enabled and emboldened this scourge. Today millions of Nigerians are paying survival levy and taxes to these murderous armed bandits. Buhari is a Terrorist! Pantami is a Terrorist! Elrufai is a Terrorist! #ElbinawiTweets |
Idris Deby Was Eliminated to Facilitate BokoHaram Insurgency There are reports that the late Chadian president Idris Deby was killed by agents loyal to France. Idris Deby was a big obstacle to the Western-backed #BokoHaram insurgency. For the new scrabble for African resources by the Western hegemonic barbarians, murderous terrorist groups like BokoHaram are needed to give the excuse for another military occupation of Africa to facilitate the looting of the rich resources of the continent. The French imperialists, American imperialists and British imperialists are one and the same. They are united in the quest to plunder African resources. Their rivalry only comes to play on how to share the looted resources. Idris Deby was holistically fighting the Western-backed bloodthirsty Wahhabi barbarians. BokoHaram terrorists feared Idris Deby more than God. Just hearing his name made them wet their pants. The Western hegemonic barbarians decided that he should be eliminated. It is not accidental that Idris Deby was eliminated, then BokoHaram gained momentum and the dementia mannequin from Nigeria loudly called for American troops. All these incidents were planned by the Genocidal imperialist barbarians of the West. Idris Deby was eliminated to unleash the bloodthirsty BokoHaram terrorists on innocent and defenseless civilians of the West African region so that puppets like Buhari will call for help. Western forces in Africa are here to facilitate the plunder of the rich resources of Africa and the excuse for their presence is the existence of murderous terrorist groups like BokoHaram. African must rise up to liberate their lands from the occupation of the White Supremacy barbarians that are the real Al-Qaeda, ISIS and BokoHaram. #ElbinawiTweets |

Nigeria third-worst governed country in the world: Report "The Chandler Good Government Index, released for the first time, places Nigeria as the third-worst governed country in the world." "The report noted that the ability to handle corruption properly is the strongest indicator of good governance. Thus the CGGI ranked Nigeria 102 out of 104 countries with a score of 0.319 points, ahead of Zimbabwe and Venezuela." Mee: The genocidal Buhari regime is the most corrupt government in the history of the Nigerian State. Buhari appointed an extremely corrupt element to head the anti-corruption agency, EFCC. Anybody that appointed a notorious thief as a Guard is also a thief. The PDP is extremely corrupt but the Buhari gang took corruption to the next level as they perfected the art of looting the public treasury. School children were "e-fed" during the Coronavirus lockdown by the humanitarian minister of Buhari, @Sadiya_farouq, who is known to all as his Girlfriend. Buhari created the humanitarian ministry as a conduit point of looting by his extremely corrupt cronies. Contracts inflation is another methodology of looting the public treasury by the Buhari regime. A project that will cost 100 million Naira is inflated to 4bn Naira. Lest I Forget! Venezuela made this list due to the debilitating sanctions by the US regime and other Western powers. The Socialist government in Venezuela did well in Governance. Then the US interference and sanctions. Venezuela presently can not export it oil and it assets in Western Banks and Financial institutions siezed. #ElbinawiTweets |
*A Nation Bleeding From Many Wounds, by Hassan Gimba* Every patriot currently has gloom written all over him. The defence minister told us a few days ago that the country is ‘bleeding.’ Indeed, Nigeria is sick, very sick. Perhaps, was it the sickness of one part, the body can manage and pull along. The sickness, unfortunately, is for the entire body. Is it the North or the South, the East or the West, that is not ill? But we ought to be a nation in the season of its bloom. For more than a decade now, the North has been haemorrhaging and in the doldrums, sort of. Thought to be “one of those” crises that will soon pass, the Boko Haram insurgency has yoked the North East with a more devastating effect on the states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, in that order. Borno State is the worst hit with most parts of its northern, eastern and western territories under the heavy presence of Boko Haram. Maiduguri, the state headquarters, currently breathes through only one nostril – the Maiduguri-Damaturu road. Even that is at the risk of being closed by them. The other four or five roads leading into or out of the ancient town are Boko Haram-patrolled most times. Yet the insurgency is threatening to remain with us till God knows when. Well, it took no less than the former chief of army staff, retired General Tukur Buratai, to tell us that “There is the likelihood of terrorism persisting in Nigeria for another 20 years.” The activities and effects of the insurgents have been treated deeply by yours truly and many other writers at various times. Boko Haram recalcitrance has affected the economy and social harmony of the areas it is dominant. Because of the insurgents’ incessant attacks, farmers and livestock rearers now find it almost impossible to continue with their occupations. The North Central has become a kidnappers’ colony. It is a traveller’s nightmare. From Rijau, Birnin Gwari, Gwanin Gora, Rijana through Kaduna and down to the suburbs of the Plateau, one travels at one’s risk. Even four-star generals are not safe. They killed one at one time and that was that. Herdsmen kill at will and sack villages, burning everything down to ashes. Kidnappers are also having a field day. Are some of them, especially the herdsmen and kidnappers, another face of Boko Haram getting them much needed cash? We have been querying this for years now. Even though sanity has returned to the Abuja–Kaduna road and the Jos axis, people are yet to relax psychologically. Bandits, too, kidnap and pillage villages at will. In some of these villages, people seek permission from these bandits before any wedding ceremony. The bandits can also come to a wedding gathering and demand for the bride to be given to them. Anyone who refuses does so at the expense of his life. It was in the news some time ago that they went to a man and asked him to “borrow” them his daughter for a week. The man had to comply because there was no one he could report this humiliation to. Even if there was, who would come to his aid? Bandits have to issue permission to farmers to farm and also to harvest. It is that bad. The North, which prides itself as the food basket of the nation, now cannot even meet its needs comfortably, not to talk of that of the nation. The activities of Boko Haram, bandits, and kidnappers have conspired to keep those who till the land at home, dead or as refugees elsewhere away from home. As a result, the nation faces the possibility of food scarcity for its ever-burgeoning population. Add to all these woes is the threat of instability in the Chad Republic, our northern neighbour. Long-serving autocratic ruler, Idriss Deby Itno, killed from wounds sustained at the battlefront while fighting to defend his country from Libya-based rebels under the name of Front for Change and Concord in Chad (FACT), has kept the country relative peaceful. Some Nigerians saw him as a dictator who came to power through the barrel of the gun, sustained it that way and so they did not give a hoot because he died through the barrel of the gun as well. And they disparage him. Perhaps we may tell them to ask Libyans and Iraqis what they now prefer: Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein who assumed and sustained power through the barrel of the gun – and died through it – or their current conditions. Your guess is as good as mine. Deby left a stronger and more united nation than he met but, above all, he was Nigeria’s ally in the fight against Boko Haram. We must forever remain grateful to him for giving the insurgents good hiding and, many times, bloody noses. Any instability in Chad now would give us a serious headache. In 1980, beginning from March that year, Borno took in the influx of Chadian refugees in their tens of thousands. It was because of crises generated by the country’s 17-year civil wars and struggle for power. Then, the Chadian Transitional Government of National Unity (GUNT) led by guerrilla leaders Goukouni Weddeye and Abdulkadir Kamougue was being challenged by another guerrilla leader, Hissene Habre. I was in Government College, Maiduguri, class two going to three and already a Scout Master. The army, police, customs, immigration officials and we – Boy Scouts, Boys Brigade and Red Cross – all teamed up to help the refugees at their camp along Dikwa road in Maiduguri. They were well-fed, well catered for, and surely there was no fear of crimes, save for the occasional pick-pocketing now and then. Now, more Nigerians are looking for what to eat, where to get sheltered. We cannot adequately take care of our internally displaced people and we now look over our shoulders more than ever before because of deadly crimes. Our sworn enemies, Boko Haram, can infiltrate the refugees and cross into the country. However, not only Borno, nay, Nigeria itself cannot afford a single refugee on top of our hundreds of thousands of internally displaced persons. But this is just the North. Yet, unfortunately, the gloom, instead of the bloom, is not limited there. Do we see what is happening, or pointing at what’s going to happen, especially in the South East? Do we think the burning of security forces’ offices, killing them and even breaking of prisons are just happening by chance? And perpetrated by “unknown” gunmen or hoodlums? The ordinary citizen may be forgiven if he thinks so, but it is unpardonable for leaders to assume so. An Igbo proverb goes thus: “The owl cries at night, the child dies in the morning…who does not know who killed the child?” Can our security agencies not link the “command” to “kill police officers” during the #EndSARS protests that turned into riots to the formation of the Eastern Security Network? Where were the security agents when the ESN got formed just after, and video clips of thousands of its recruits at training went viral? The security agencies need to be proactive because the things that are happening now could just be teasers. We must fear the South East being plunged into another messy situation (or messier) the nation is trying to stop in the North East. The country can ill-afford that; our military does not need any other distraction. The government must work deliberately to reverse what looks imminent by appeasing anyone with grievances, perceived or real. The South West has its issues but the region will not resort to arms, save for some accomplished thugs muddying the waters. It is adept at arm twisting and browbeating to achieve its political goals. Therefore, the average southerner, from Shaki to Ogoja, Oron back to Ilaro need to know the “true truth” as opposed to the “false truth” – the narrative their political leaders want them to take as the whole truth. The “Fulani” (read: the North) have no thought of taking over their lands. No agenda to “Islamise” the country and, as sure as the rains will fall, no Northerner harbours the intention to kill them. Their leaders want them kept isolated in their cocoons through perpetual ignorance that breeds asphyxiating and debilitating fear rather than allowing them to make rapprochements with their brethren north of the Niger. To their selfish leaders, a bleeding nation has advantages. But making the average southerner see the “light” is achievable through large-heartedness and justice. After all, Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio said in his book, Bayan Wujub ul-Hijrah alal Mukallafi, that a kingdom (nation) can endure with unbelief, but it cannot endure with injustice. Those God has entrusted with power must make those without it feel they are also stakeholders in nation-building. No people will want to run away from a union as long as they believe they are treated justly. After all, even in America where we copied our system of governance from, there is a disparity in the number of presidents produced between the North and South, but hell has not been let loose. Lest I Forget The House of Representatives last week resolved to investigate the “export of 7000 refrigerated joysticks” from Nigeria to China. On March 19, this year, World News Daily Report (WNDR), a satirical website with the slogan “facts don’t matter”, wrote that Chinese authorities have seized a cargo ship that sailed from Nigeria with 7221 joysticks. The WNDR describes its output as being humorous or satirical. “WNDR assumes however all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and the fictional nature of its content,” it claims. I thought they had media aides that would advise them about such websites. |
Terrorism: Buhari & Pantami are Terrorists #Terrorism is the killing of innocent civilians for political ends. It is on record that Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his Followers have NEVER killed anybody. The bloodthirsty Sunni extremists in power in Nigeria brutally murdered thousands of Sheikh Zakzaky's Followers that included hundreds of women, children and infants, & branded them as "Terrorists". These genocidal barbarians buried innocent children and infants ALIVE in the multiple Shia mass graves that they created but Sheikh Zakzaky and his Followers are the "Terrorists". These bloodthirsty killers who are paid agents of the savage Saudi Wahhabi regime murdered hundreds of peaceful #FreeZakzaky protesters that included women and children yet Sheikh Zakzaky and his Followers are the "Terrorists". Then something happened: God in his infinite Mercy excavated the bloodthirsty Al-Qaeda terrorist #Pantami from their ranks. Pantami is a bloodthirsty Wahhabi terrorist who publicly celebrated Osama bin Laden and Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi. This Al-Qaeda terrorist is the minister of communication in Nigeria. Conclusion: Buhari is a Terrorist Pantami is a Terrorist Elrufai is a Terrorist Lest I Forget: The US government recently described Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife as political prisoners. Meaning the mass murder of thousands of Sheikh Zakzaky's Followers was for political ends. #ElbinawiTweets |
Buhari Institutionalizing Injustice by Backing Pantami and Incarnating Zakzaky By Abdulmumin Giwa Unfolding events in Nigeria have worsened the way the public view the dispensation of justice by the Nigerian government. The APC led government under President Muhammadu Buhari is seen to be unfair and unjust to a lot of Nigerians based on positions it is taking against them. The most recent incident is that of the support and backing it gave to its Minister of Communication Dr. Isah Pantami who has been said to have in the past abetted terrorism in his preachments and religious activities. He also never denied it but claimed that he was young with low awareness and therefore apologised for his misdoings now that he is a minister. More so, the Nigerian government never denied that he abetted terrorism, but put it to the public that he had changed stance thereby placing its full weight behind him. Some of the things Sheikh Pantami had preached before becoming a minister included supporting known terrorist organizations Alqaeda, Boko Haram and Taliban and even claiming alliance. He described them as his brothers. He even confirmed that some young people have dropped out of school and joined the terror groups as a result, but he was able to call some to order. He had also preached against Christians and called on Muslim leaders to declare Jihad to fight them for killing Muslims in Yelwan Shandam, Langtan and other places. What is worse is his position on other Muslims like the Shi'a and Tariqah who he sees more as infidels. In fact this position had drawn him closer to the Saudi regime and its activities of spreading hate among Muslim denominations. All these speeches and preachings he did are easily accessible on social media especially YouTube. Also, he had never for once came out to declare to the world that he had withdrawn from such terror abetting and promotion of religious conflicts among Nigerians until the issue recently came up and what happened forced him to make the declaration. The Nigerian government under president Buhari defended and backed him on this telling the world that he will continue as Minister. This is the same government that has sent the Nigerian Army troops to clampdown on another religious scholar, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his followers, in their centres in Zaria, Kaduna state for no crime other than belonging to the Shi'a denomination of Islam. The Shi'a are announced by the government to be influenced by Iran while the government is also hypothetically having diplomatic relations with Iran. The President Muhammadu Buhari even visited the Shi'a leader Ayatullah Sayyid Khamenei in Iran in one of his several travels abroad and was given red carpet reception. The unarmed Shi'a were butchered by the Buhari government thereby killing men, women and innocent children some burned to death and others buried alive in mass graves along with dead bodies. The Kaduna state government under Governor Nasiru Elrufai confirmed to the Judicial Commission of Inquiry set up to look into the massacre that they buried 347 in a mass grave in violation of the Geneva Convention. Peaceful protests have been attacked by the Nigerian government and hundreds are still being killed for calling for the release of their religious leader. It is still in memory that Sheikh Zakzaky was at his residence with his family in December 2015 when he was attacked and three of his sons were brutally killed, his wife shot in the tommy, he was shot in the eye and limb, his elder sister and nephew were both burned alive by the Nigerian army during the attack. The residence of Shaikh Zakzaky was demolished after burning it down and the rubbles were packed away. This state terror act was perpetrated against Sheikh Zakzaky who had received several recommendations from far and wide for being peaceful and promoting peace. He had been leading a group of Nigerians that have become the largest blood donors to the National Blood Transfusion Commission in the country. His followers have been received by hundreds of Churches across the country on courtesy calls promoting peace and other unity events. He has no single record of any crime or terror linked activities or even negative preachments. He had preached against injustice and corruption and had promoted wake up calls to Nigerians seeking developmental progress. In fact he was a victim of the Boko Haram bomb attack where 23 of his followers were killed while on a religious activity. To cap it all up, officials of this APC led government paid him a hypocritical condolence visit when the first set of his three sons were killed towards the end of the Jonathan's administration in 2014, because they knew him as a peace promoter. Even President Jonathan was said to have apologized for what happened then. Sheikh Zakzaky has been proven by a court of competent jurisdiction, the Federal High Court in Abuja to be innocent of all the concocted lies against him by the government. The court ordered that he be released and paid compensation of N50 million, and a house be built for him in any state of his choice in the North. The government acted in contempt of the court and refused to obey the court. Several groups have called on the Nigerian government to respect the court and release the innocent Sheikh but all to no avail. Among them are credible human rights organizations like Amnesty International, International Human Rights Watch and Islamic Human Right Organization of London, and highly respected religious bodies like the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN. But the government turned deaf ears on all these calls and continue to incarcerate Sheikh Zakzaky and concocting lies against him. Just of recent, the United States of America in a report declared that Sheikh Zakzaky is a political prisoner and has nothing to do with terrorism, meaning that he was only being jailed for political purposes and not that he had committed any crime or is linked to any. If the Nigerian government can accept, defend and promote Sheikh Pantami, who it confirmed abetted terrorism and promoted religious crises in Nigeria, then it has no moral right to continue to jail Sheikh Zakzaky who is known to be a peace activist. It has completely lost its morality in the eyes of the world by this. It implies that it has no commitment whatsoever to the fight against the pandemic of terrorism. It implies that the government is not interested in stopping terrorism which some parts of the country have been confirmed to have been taken over by the terrorists. This singular act by the Nigerian government only depicts it as institutionalizing injustice and unfairness to the citizens and promoting nepotism, a situation that is worsening the tranquillity in the country and promoting calls by some Nigerians for restructuring of the country. Indeed Nigerians are regretting voting this government to power. |

The barbaric North celebrating the killing of IPOB commander Ikonso by security forces. I think the barbaric North should be more concern on the worsening security situation in Northern Nigeria. BokoHaram terrorists and murderous armed bandits on rampage unchecked and unchallenged. Nigerian army, police and other security forces ganged up to raid Ikonso "headquarters" and killed him. Why can't the security forces use the same zeal they used in killing the IPOB commander in fighting terrorists aka bandits aka BokoHaram? Are they afraid they'll annoy #TyrantBuhari? #ElbinawiTweets |
UPDATED: Boko Haram still in Geidam 12 hours after “invasion” "The Boko Haram insurgents who attacked Geidam, capital of Geidam Local Government of Yobe State yesterday at around 6 pm are still hanging around in the town." "As at the time of this publication, Neptune Prime gathered they have moved to Fulatari ward, North of the Emir’s palace and told the residents to vacate the area." Mee: Presently the bloodthirsty BokoHaram terrorists and the murderous armed bandits are operating unchecked and unchallenged in Northern Nigeria. BokoHaram are in Geidam for the past 12 hours unchallenged. They are burning buildings, raping women and girls, stealing food items and killing innocent people. Pray For Nigeria! #ElbinawiTweets |
#COVID19 cases in India has worsen The Healthcare system of India has collapsed due to the worsening crisis of COVID-19 cases. India is the second most populous country on earth after China. China has the world's largest population (1.42 billion), followed by India (1.35 billion). The next five most populous nations – the United States, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan and Nigeria – together have fewer people than India. India does not have the huge resources of China and the Universal Healthcare System of China. The Government of India is less efficient than the Chinese Government. An Indian national record 2,263 coronavirus-related deaths was reported on Friday. Oxygen is in short supply across the country, with one hospital network in New Delhi refusing new patients until more oxygen can be sourced. We call on China, Russia & Cuba to rush to the aid of India. Thousands are dying daily and it could get worst. Those countries producing the Coronavirus vaccines should concentrate their supply to India and Brazil. Please Help India! Please!!! #ElbinawiTweets |

Friday Reflection: The Genocidal Buhari Regime is a Terrorist Organization The Buhari regime open support for the Bloodthirsty Al-Qaeda terrorist Pantami underlined the fact that this regime is a terrorist Organization. The roots of terrorism are deep inside the genocidal Buhari regime and the Al-Qaeda terrorist Pantami is just one of its branches. Check these: The Buhari regime set a new African record of human slaughter with the genocidal massacre of more than one thousand Shia civilians in Zaria in December, 2015. Hundreds of Men, women, children and infants were brutally slaughtered by the Nigerian army in less than 72 hours and their dead bodies wickedly dumped in the multiple Shia mass graves at night to bury the evidences. #ZariaGenocide The genocidal Buhari regime is notorious in attacking and killing peaceful protesters on Nigerian streets. Hundreds of peaceful #FreeZakzaky protesters have been Killed & thousands injured. One of the injured died yesterday. The #LekkiMassacre is the latest mass murder of this bloodthirsty regime. The genocidal Buhari regime has created multiple Shia mass graves in Kaduna and Kano states. These mass graves contained the remains of the thousands of Shia civilians brutally murdered by these bloodthirsty Sunni extremists in power in Nigeria under the Saudi-sponsored #ShiaGenocide agenda. Thousands of bloodthirsty BokoHaram terrorists have been freed by the genocidal Buhari regime including their notorious commanders using the fraudulent pretext of "Repentance". No single prosecution of the BokoHaram terrorists by this regime. As at present the genocidal Buhari regime is the biggest funder of BokoHaram insurgency. This terrorist regime has provided BokoHaram terrorists tens of millions of dollars using the fraudulent pretext of ransom payment. Billions of dollars that were budgeted for the fight against BokoHaram insurgency have been looted by the Buhari regime with no single person arrested. The National Security Adviser (NSA) recently stated that huge money budgeted for weapons but no weapons. No government in the history of Nigeria that has trampled on the rule of law like the genocidal Buhari regime. This terrorist regime is notorious in not obeying court Judgement. The deliberate enabling of murderous armed banditry by the genocidal Buhari regime has now created a bigger terrorist group, much bigger than BokoHaram. 60+ Nigerians were brutally slaughtered just yesterday in Maru LGA of Zamfara state. The genocidal massacre of hundreds of Igbo Youths in South East Nigeria has now given birth to a new insurgency in that region. Criminal Buhari and Criminal Buratai massacred hundreds of unarmed Igbo Youths and as usual dumped their dead bodies in mass graves at night. Conclusion The genocidal Buhari regime is a state-sponsor of murderous terrorism. Openly Supporting the Al-Qaeda terrorist Pantami just unmasked the terrorist ingredients of this bloodthirsty regime. A prominent Nigerian Activist sent me the Press Statement of the genocidal Buhari regime on the Al-Qaeda terrorist #Pantami. My instant reaction was "They are terrorists and they are not smart". The Buhari gang of bloodthirsty killers and monumental fraudsters are bloodthirsty savages & wicked barbarians. Only a gullible idiot will expect any kind of sophistication from bloodthirsty Wahhabi barbarians. Nigerian Activists has unearth mountains of genocidal utterances and plots by the Al-Qaeda terrorist Pantami against Nigerian Christians, trying to save him politically is suicidal. The Saudi Wahhabis who are masters of Tyrant Buhari are notorious in the incubation and processing of suicide bombers but this political suicide will only end in the disgrace and humiliation of these paid Saudi agents in Nigeria. The Hashtag #PantamiMustGo is still trending because truly #PantamiIsATerrorist. An Al-Qaeda terrorist should not be the minister of communication in Nigeria. This is an existential threat to all Nigerians. #ElbinawiTweets |
The @bbchausa reports that the funeral of 51 people killed by armed bandits in the Magami area of Zamfara state is being held this morning. A witness told the BBC that the bandits operated for 7hrs (from 7am - 1pm) yesterday unchecked and unchallenged. He said they reported the attack to security forces but no help came. Yes, the murderous criminals operated for 7hrs stealing, raping, burning and killing innocent people but no help came. Yes, no single help came from the Nigerian army and police! Pray For Nigeria! #ElbinawiTweets |
The ₦2.9b on #Ramadan welfare in Zamfara state! Zamfara state is the most ravaged state by armed banditry in Nigeria. Thousands killed, thousands displaced and hundreds of Villages destroyed. The former Governor of Zamfara state that is presently in the jail of the anti-corruption agency, @officialEFCC, turned Zamfara state treasury in to his personal ATM machine. We thought the present Governor of Zamfara state, @Bellomatawalle1, will not tread the path of the extremely corrupt past Governor but with this massive bill of ₦2.9b on #Ramadan welfare, the present Governor is heading that way. The extremely wicked and corrupt Northern Oligarchy are notorious in using their #fake love of Islam to defraud the poor and suffering people of Northern Nigeria. Northern Nigeria is today the extreme poverty capital of the whole world with more than 75% of the population within the extreme poverty bracket. Ramadan Mubarak To All Muslims! |
