Not just women! What about men spending a good part of their time browsing the internet for pornography and nudity. Exposure to the internet generally and the social media in particular is just part of the present civilization and it comes with a huge cost to both genders. To begin here to list the downsides of the internet will be an attempt to create another encyclopedia.



Women are gradually being reduced to intimacy gadgets. Some people are even beginning to compare women with sex dolls. Just imagine! I read somewhere sometimes ago about a lady who said she doesn't date that she only uses intimacy gadgets. Moreover, men now carry sex dolls about in their cars to gratisfy their sexual urge whenever they please.

Only true Christians know where this world is heading. In Ecclesiastes the Bible says with more knowledge comes more sorrows. And that's what we're beginning to experience today

However exposure to these media and Smartphones is not the problem. As long as it's now a ubiquitous part of the society, avoiding contact with them is much like a swimmer who doesn't want any contact with water.

You cannot stop a bird from flying above your head but you can prevent it from nesting on it.

Self control is the key to these new realities. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to master. We must be able to control our bounds and limits and we must inculcate this priceless value in our children especially in their formative years. That's between ages 1&7. Whatever value you indoctrinate in them at these critical ages will most likely remain in them for the rest of their lives.

Today we must relate with the present civilization with our willpower intact. No one can stop the trend of civilization you can only control yourself.

When you die, your soul leaves your body in what is called detachment. This I can confirm from my personal experience.

What happens thereafter, I do not know but if you want me to tell you, I will be relying on the Holy Bible which I believe is the best source of such information.

Hope you people realize that every Nigerian is not in Lagos. Even in Lagos depending on you circumstances you can manage 100k but that will involve a lot of sacrifice. So for those who are extravagant it is impossible but for the frugal it's possible. That said, with inflation being at 20 per cent, no matter where you earn such salary in Nigeria you have to sacrifice a lot.

It appears dreams are fast translating to physicality these days. I just pray my numerous money dreams will somehow translate some day.

However, men, as you can see even on this thread, have spent all their time developing the latter and are sorely lacking in the former.

As a consequence, even if wealth tempts women to give such men a go in the first instance, it's only a matter of time before they jump ship with the realisation that their mental health is worth more than pennies men throw their way.

The wealthy can fall from grace at any moment and the depraved can become something sometime in the future. What is more important is not immediate riches but character, attitude and compatibility. These are more difficult to acquire when compared to wealth and they're the ground essentials of all relationships.
