Move to areas where cost of living is lower. Cities like Ibadan, Ilorin,... where you can start a small business. In these areas accommodation can be as low as 50k per year and transportation cost is almost nothing.

You sound like an accounting graduate so I believe with your knowledge and discipline, you can scale up your business quickly. While doing that continue to hunt for job.

The cost of living in Lagos is too high and considering inflation, that money will be depleted in no time and am sure you won't like your hard earned money to vanish. So I will advise you to move to low brow areas.

Rent a shop in a good location from the money. The rest may not be much. So you can arrange for consignments from established businesses to stock your shop.

Yeah that's why I mentioned economic Hardship as a factor. We all do botched jobs in our despiration for what to eat. But in the end we're eaten up by our error as we can learn from the dead victims.

Well I believe contractors also have their share of the blame as well as the consultants. Each of them are professionals in their sphere. The contractor has ethical standards guiding his profession. Also, consultants are professionals in the same industry having ethical guidelines. Why can't they comply with their ethics.


Why should someone tell me to use 10mm steel rod for column instead of 16mm or at least 12mm which is the minimum requirement.

Do I need to obey blindly whatever am told where I can be a victim myself in the future or or someone close to me.

If we cannot trust Nigerian contractors for the building projects they execute across the country then our government is justified for not awarding contracts to our home bred professionals.


Economic hardship, relaxation of professionalism and bad government are the leading causes of building collapse in Nigeria.

When an expert specifies 16mm steel rod for instance, for casting column, an average Nigerian will use 10mm rod for it just to cut costs. Where the soil requires piling they will use ordinary foundation to avoid costs.

What about the steel companies producing substandard building materials; are they being monitored? Nigerian government are woeful when it comes to monitoring.

Most of the taskforce dispatched for this purpose only go there to take bribe and leave their job undone. For this reason many factories that should be closed down are operating everyday.

Economic hardship has made clients not to hire professionals. They would rather employ local quack developers for their projects in order to reduce costs. In the end it collapses claiming innocent lives.

Why can't we force people to employ the service of architects and structural engineers especially when complex projects are involved? What's Nigerian Institute of Architecture doing there.

We die everyday in Nigeria for avoidable negligence and this is a sad reflection of the status of this country.

Those sins aren't sins against the Holy Spirit but if you don't repent from them till death meets you, they become sin against the Holy Spirit or if you're still alive and feel you will never do away with these sins because you are too wise in your eyes or you're too rich or you have made a special convenant with the devil never to do the will of God, you will be trapped in the sin against the Holy Spirit.

So, the question that arises from this is: In the Holy Trinity, does it mean that the Holy Spirit is greater than the Father and the Son?
The answer is simple if people are willing to embrace the Revealed Knowledge concerning this matter!
The Holy Spirit is responsible for Creation and ALL the Divine Laws that are woven into Creation which govern it!
So, contravention of any of those adamantine Laws goes hand in hand with consequences that can only be redeemed through experiencing the repercussions attached to it, either here and now (in this Earth-life) or in a subsequent incarnation on Earth.

Hence, most of us come to this Earth with heavy karma concerning things we did or did not do in a previous Earth-life.

You're going too far. Sinning against the Holy Spirit does not show in any way that the Holy Spirit is greater than the Father and the Son. But by it's very nature this sin will block every avenue for repentance. No sin cannot be forgiven but sin against the holy Spirit puts you in a condition where repentance cannot be possible. For instance, death and lack of humility. These two conditions will not make it possible for anyone to repent. So most of those who have fallen into this sin are those who have died in grievous sins and those who because of their pride find it hard to humble themselves and come to repentance.

Why do you think Jesus Christ said in Luke 18-25 it would be hard for the rich and wealthy to attain the kingdom of God, because most of them cannot humble themselves and come to repence. Or how many people do you see that behave like Matthew, the tax collector who abandoned his lucrative career and followed Christ.

Sin against the Holy Spirit is not the sin many people take it to be. For instance, it is not merely going against God as in not obeying the commandments of God. It is a willing and continual rejection of the Gospel of truth. It is deliberately resisting the commandments of God.

For instance, an evangelist came to you and after your time together you realised that fornication can lead you to hell. Now what are you supposed to do? to keep away from the act, isn't it? But you kept away only for a while and then returned to the act. You have not sinned against the Holy Spirit yet.
But if you continue to live in that sin and death meets you, the sin will not be forgiven. You have sinned against the Holy Spirit.

Let me give you another example of sin against the Holy Spirit in Acts 7:51, it reads,

"You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you"

This statement was made by Stephen to the council of Israel called Sanhedren. From their forefathers till the time they had been killing the people of God for their selfish reasons. They were not ready to change their ways so they resisted the Holy Spirit by their hardheartedness.
It is this hard-heartedness to yield to the Holy Spirit that constitutes sin against the Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ told the pharesees that sin against the Father and the Son can be forgiven but sin against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven either in this world or in the world to come, why because such sin is deliberate rejection of the truth, they weren't ready at all to listen let alone repenting from their evil.
