The suprice

Meanwhile at home Debby and grace already got home and everyone was looking for me.
Mummy will arrive that same day and uncle want everything to look perfect.
Words went out that I was missing.
I could imagine the scare I already created.
I waited till 6pm at the police station but the DPO did not come.
So I told those in charge I want to go home but my request was meet with harsh criticism.

"You this stupid girl, you don't know you will go home when you entered kidnappers vehicle abi?

The policeman's allegations scared me. I kept quit and waited patiently

About 8pm that night,I was told the DPO will not be coming and I will have to stay till the next day.

One of the closing officers offered to take me home,at first i rejected the offer but sleeping at the station is not good for me.

I overheard their chat.
The chemist hailed him and he asked for the usual.

Chapter seven
Obedience is better than sacrifice


Its my second day at the hospital..I was running out of option of where to go.
Soon Debby and uncle arrived at the hospital to take me home and I refused.
I learnt that mummy(my uncles wife) will return the next day.as much as we were feed up with uncle,nobody wants mummy to know what's going on in the house.
I reserve some blame for her too.she saves life daily at the hospital but her own kids at home are contemplating suicide,she spends time with the weary in flesh but her kids are lonely in spirit.her children are in need of someone to talk to.
A woman's number one priority is her family but she abandoned hers and administers drugs to others.
Who can we blame for this ruin.her career or my wayward uncle. I guess if she spends a little more time with the family I guess most of this crap would have been avoided.

I was forced to follow them home.uncle warned me to keep shut my mouth till he figures out what to about my waec.
The registration was closing very soon.
The next day I dressed for school but secretly packed extra clothing's in my bag. I planned to go to church to meet our pastor for financial assistance.
I got to church and I was told that pastor went out and will be back by 12pm.
So I choose to wait by the alter.
Its been a while since I prayed.
I don't want to say am angry with God but am not happy.I felt as if he had abandoned me.

I saw that moment as a chance to reconcile with my maker.

Then I saw myself in a house,my dad and mom were on the dinning table.there seems to be a very bright light in the house.
My two sisters were weaving with needle and then.

I found myself on a hospital bed.how did i get here?i asked

Then i realised it was debby holding me all along and i have been dreaming all along.

Debby explained how she followed me as i ran out of the house and how he saw me faint and brought me to her mums hospital.

This is the second time am being taken to a hospital in the space of one month.

My short exile

"Emmanuella the vice principal wants to see you in his office" a junior student told me.
Monday morning bright and early,I went to his office.
"Ella,waec registration is closing on Friday.after that it would be late registration.what is happening?"

"But grace and Debby already paid?"he said

At this time I was beginning to feel sad.

I thanked him and went back to class.

While I stayed down I saw grace and debby challenge their father.it was unusual of debby to get into my matter.I feel dazed but I could still here debby screaming at her father.
"Daddy its not fair,why are you like this",she sobs as she talk"I am tired of all this and if you touch her again mummy will know of what you did"
He looked unto my face and said "you are dead just leave my house"then went into his room.
Grace helped me up but it felt like I had broken a rib.
Grace its not save for me here I need to go.
"Where will you go this night"she asked with worry on her face.

At that moment I heard debby and my uncle screaming at each other in the room and I knew the end product will beget more violence
I reached for the door and staggered out then open the gate with one hand while I placed the other hand on my aching chest then I ran into the quit night.into the darkness without knowing where to go.
Five minute into my aimless wandering,I started coughing out blood .I saw someone coming behind me from afar.

In don't know who it was and my injury is getting the most of me.
Just as the person approach, I passed out.
