You're right sire.. The bombing ,vandalization and killing of the armies isn't any fundamental way to expose the corrupt government of ours and the citizen applauding them is totally wrong. We the citizens are doing lot of damagesthan the so called governments, assuming we're all agitating toward the betterment of the nation, rather than on selfish ,biased and ethnic rational choices..we wouldn't have been in this mess, but we take pleasure in complaining and not making any cogent move to make this government realise enough is enough
u r ryt wen u said we de citizens r causing a lot of damages. Y? cos non of us is neutral in any debate-in dis case some hail d govt(encourage military actions), odas hail de NDA(to continue bombing). no body is neutral enof to provide common ground to reconcile de diff, everybody just dey justify him group, therefore non of us is patriotic. |

You are not supporting evil when you cheer miscreant s to blow up pipelines. But you think I am supporting evil because I want the NA to waste anybody who wants to cause trouble for the country. I have told you. No form of idiocy and madness will be tolerated from miscreants inform of fighting for biafra or ND. The country must remain one. The unity of Nigeria is more important than some hate filled animals who protest just because they don't like the president. de way u av confidence to say nigeria is indivisible, I no knw if UN gave exception to nigeria, that indigenous pipo hia can not call for their own sovereignty if they av justifiable reasons. Ma dear grow up! Nigeria oneness must be a choice by all indigenous units, not force. |

You do know that whatever monies due the communities have been duely paid to the respective state governments don't you? Do you now see why these acts are criminal in nature? I agree with u that our grievances Shld be channelled towards our state governments, buh de bitter truth is that the system of govt is just too corrupt that no single individual or group can fight them. U can't fight the state which would easily brand u as hoodlums, even if u go legally, it's easier for them to dismiss u. dis system of govt is lyk a cult, cult ring whereby politicians both in fg n state. Methink we Shld change dis system to true federalism, so that de pipo kuld b closer to d govt, dat way it's easier to hold dem accountable. |

obailala: Do you really think paying billions constantly to the 'big' gang leaders to pacify them is a sustainable solution?.... By paying the big gang leaders money and neglecting the real communities that need upliftment, was that really a sustainable or fair strategy?
Besides, buhari just took over and nothing, absolutely nothing has been done by the government so far cos the first budget was only just signed a while ago. So why wouldnt a genuine agitator wait a bit and see what's in stock before they resume blowing everything up and rendering 170 million Nigerians hungry.. As far as I'm concerned, the guys presently blowing things up are merely opportunists who want to make big bucks, just like their older colleagues who have now made mon,ey, they have no regard for even the niger delta they claim to be fighting for and most of their motives are even politically driven. guys u don try small to talk e truth. dos guy r selfish. Yes! buh wateva money they make, quote me,they deserve it. it's not their fault that oil as a God given gift is in their backyard. so,they r supposed to be big boys from that,n not some northerner up there claiming all oil blocks n raking in billions. in as much as I don't support d bombings, pmb Shld av continued de amnesty with his own condition. do u know dat de best way to fight dis guys is by doing de needful or de ordinary masses? that way he will get their support. but sadly ur pmb refered to all of dem as 5percenters who don't deserve his care lyk de 97percenters. my dear, stay blessed, but advise ur pmb not to use de ODI treatment o, cos I av a trauma frm dat experience. agbangam: My dear ur 5percent reasoning is y I said Nigerians are very difficult pple. U all took wat PMB said to anoda level and its bad. Y not we all find a way to replace d bad leaders amongs us and strengthen our nation instead of encouraging d bombing. USA wit all d different colours and faces is doing great cos of d gud leaders der, so wit a gud leader Nigeria can become great. @least for once we now have a leader dat is not here to loot like d previous one. Wit d 13percent drivatives,Desopadec,NDDC,ND Ministry plus Fed Alocation going to our governors n leaders in ND wat achievement can any of dem boast of. So our leaders in ND is our headache not d hausa man. my dear, u av a gud point. but I must tell u, our problems r nt caused by dat aboki dat goes abt cleaning shoes, or dat ipod man selling aba mades, or any oda ordinary citizen buh our leaders. n d bitter truth is dat de present system of governance is wrong. alt3r3g0: While true federalism is the ultimate solution, it cannot be done immediately. It has to be done in phases.
Lagos for one can survive without federal allocation. It has done it before, and can be done again. The same cannot be said for other states.
Already, with the slump in the crude oil prices, everyone is aware that the economy must be diversified away from oil. This would help other states to be independent before true federalism can be enforced.
You cannot say states that are owing months even with federal hand outs should now starve to death. That wont happen...people are capable of inhumane things during survival mode. You see nations invade others so they can survive.
The best solution for NDA is to give peace a chance...let Nigeria overcome this economic slump and diversify the economy as planned, and then after a while revert to true federalism. True federalism by force in this time of hunger will just result to a blood bath. ma dear, ir respect ur opinion. Buh I must say that ur pmb has not helped matters. Even if he has gud intentions buh communicate the wrong signal. how can a presido who ought to run an inclusive govt refer to some pipo as 5 percent n oda 95 or whateva percent? how can a presido be more concerned with dealing with NDA than herdsmen roaming freely n murdering innocent pipo, n he looks de oda way cos they r his pipo. Ma dear only true federalism will solve all dis ish, if naht all na cosmetic solutions. stay blessed . |

Flets: Now lets face it.... Nigeria as we know it have gone to the dogs. Balkanization is imminent unless we salvage it through True Federalism. Maybe Buhari is the man needed to help grind Nigeria to a halt where True federalism becomes attractive to hard sworn opponents.
Who in his right senses would ever think force would restore crude production in the Niger Delta. Both History and common sense has proven its impossible to increase oil production in the face of insurgency. Even the major oil companies cannot continue production amidst explosions and crossfires. The more Buhari mobilizes warships, gunboats and military to the region, the more the IOCs evacuates their personnel and services from the region.
What is so hard about understanding that there is no hope for a united Nigeria without True Federalism? What is wrong with the black man? my dear, I just tire sey pmb n him supporters can not see things this way. we need true federalism to solve this our problems. |

MadCow1: Niger Delta Avengers = Criminals of Niger Delta Origin.
They do not represent the greater peoples of the Niger Delta.
Their activities are not sanctioned by the Greater peoples of the Niger Delta.
Their objective is selfish and personal and does not reflect the yearnings of the Greater Niger Delta Peoples. my dear, do all those northerners that own oil blocks in the south represent the overall populace of the north? whether NDA do not represent the whole ND populace or not does not mean anything, cos the truth is that ND has been unfairly treated. if others don't have the mind to demand for that which is their right, let those that have the mind do it. my only concern is about the damage to the environment and the untold hardship on the poor massed. the solution to this problem is true federalism, let's each units control their resources. if they Niger Delta states lyk they Shld misuse it,n let militants to suffer them buh not involving the whole country. don't you think God has given each region a gift; the ibos wisdom to succeed in biz, niger delta crude oil, de north large land mass to farm n feed themselves. It's better that way wit true federalism. |

Let's see pictures of PH, Calabar and Uyo to compare. After all they are in the ND too. . my dear we are talking about those communities that r producing oil and not the state capitals that somehow mask the underdeveloped state of things. come to my village in Obunagha ( hosting LNG n shell) and see things for yourself. Imagine shell will have their headquarters in Lagos or abuja with beautiful edifices for their staff, thereby attracting development to those areas, and leave host communities from which they collect the crude in bondage without any infrastructures that will attract development. my guy there is no justification for the kind of treatment meted on the N Deltans . |

It's obvious anyone who compares BH to ipob /massob/ NDA isn't just ignorant but mentally dead.
It's even worse when they cheer on bombing oil installations (thinking they online affecting naija economy). Ignoring the fact these foreign MNC represents different govt interests across the world thus pitting foreign govts against them.
It's even much worse when they cheer the further environmental degredation forgetting the 'costs of cleanups' when they yet to clean up other oil spills across ND.
I'm totally dumbstruck @ the reasoning of people who actually think it's 'so easy' for rebels to defeat a central govt(especially when the rebels ARE NOT THE DOMINANT ETHNIC GROUP IN POPULATION / ARMED FORCES/ AREA WHERE CAPITAL IS LOCATED.
You see bro, all I just do is laugh @ the most ignorant thinking of all, which is the lack of thought about the cost of a bullet.
Do people think bullet is free? Or is cultivated like yam? Bullets are bought, so obviously a collection of wealthy people are pouring money into the purses of the beligerents and it's an investment! So only a child will assume the end-game of NDA favours the common man.
