Sorry to say, this is bullshiit, with all due respect mr Fidelis.

Dont reinvent the wheel, i am no hater.

Nigeria needs INNOVATION, not trying to compete with oyinbo, you will never win, this piece of metal is PLAYING TO THE GALLERY.

We NEED LOCAL TECHNOLOGY TO VERY PECULIAR LOCAL NEEDS.
How about designing cheap but efficient and effective local threshers for our maize and rice farmers ?

How about moving scarecrow for rice farms to scare birds from eating up? e.t.c

Designing planes, helicopters, and excavators in a 3rd world country in 2015 is not harnessing your technology to suit pressing needs.

EDIT: I expect village idiots to view this with their tribalistic lens. The shallow ones are even asking what have i builthuh This post is for sensible individuals, and it is as constructive as it can get. lipsrsealed
Sorry, I don't mean any harm. I wouldn't call that excavator an invention cuz it's been invented already. But don't u think Fidellis Nwachukwu's ability to build an excavator is a welcome development? This is one of the equipment Nigeria import at a very high cost. If someone can construct such equipment in Nigeria, wouldn't it save us some dollars? If Fidellis Nwachukwu is encouraged, more construction and probably, inventions will come up. I believe creativity starts with imitating, then invention. So, building excavators in Nigeria is not out of order; we need the equipment at least, for drainage.

Nigeria way of doing things is completely different. There should have security in the park to respond promptly in a case like this. Were they thinking sth like this would not happen? What I'm trying to say is the lion shouldn't have been killed. They could have just tranquilised the lion. See a massive animal just wasted.

What exactly is your problem!! Do you think that if she had money or her parents sends her allowance, provide her basic needs such as accommodation, food and co she will depend on others for those things? You are not reasoning it from her perspective.... If she has those things she wouldn't have been lieing or collecting gifts/money from guys and wouldn't have compromised. That she was trying to survive doesn't justify rape. If she goes around and be telling ppl wat her predicament is, don't u know they ll look down on her. See ehn, if u want to help do it with Ur mind and do not expect anything in return.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Now I am tired...
Just as many of you have taken your time to read this story so have i taken my time in writing it. I cannot please you... I am not writing this story to satisfy your sexual urge(this is to those that are only concerned about Bleep)
I started out with a good intention of narrating my story to many out there who are going through what I went.. I wanted them to learn from this.
Now to those who want a summary, this is a story, stories are usually long narratives. Pls have it in mind that as I post comments I also see comments on this thread.. Majority of which are of obscene thoughts and it's a big distraction to me... Now do this
Imagine you were with friends, or should I say students whatever setting you wanted, and you were telling your story and some are throwing one or two sentence which is totally out of order, not what you have in mind because it is not what you experienced. Now how would you feel
To those that say I was running out of lies because I haven't mentioned the part where I had sex, pls bridle your tongue because You can not tell my story for me.
And to those who say they are bored with the story, just as you are bored, I am also bored because I was no longer seeing reasonable comments as I progressed and i am pretty sure that majority of those that tarried along up till this point are those that are eager to read and enjoy the sex scene. Well, I am sorry to disappoint you, I didn't start my story to ENTERTAIN but rather to ENLIGHTEN you on what is going on in our society.
To those saying I was making the stories shorts so i could garner pages, well sorry to say this but I think you are myopic, if you religiously followed from the beginning you would see comments on when I said I was at work.
And to the young man, that asked me why I Did not type everything out in a computer and uploaded all once instead, well you see sir, I started this story after a thought came to my mind, I was so motivated that I decided to register as a member on nairaland because I have always been a visitor on nairaland and this is my first topic on nairaland. I actually thought I could tell it peaceful as it progressed and not to be confused at the long run by many of you who wanted a different story.

Since you are not patient enough to know how I used what i had to get what I wanted.... You would probably never know.

My experiences are my precious moments because they shaped me into what I am today, and I won't have it altered because I want to tell a story on nairaland.

At this junction I drop my pen!

# walks out of thread*******
I, and probably others following your thread understand how you feel about the slovenly comments. You know in a forum like this, you would find people with different attitude. If you take heed of their smuts, you'll be deterred from a noble course. You've got me followed your study.
You know, experience is a life teacher. Your story will definitely provide lesson for those following with keen interest. I implore you, ignore those misguided ones and continue your story. Please, come back.

Anyone with a step by step solution to the problem below?

There is a substance which can be diluted to a number of solutions. The concentration of the substance is 35%, which can be diluted to 12% and 3% concentration.
If one part of the 35% concentration is added to eleven parts of distilled water, it will give a solution of 3% concentration and one part of 12% concentration added to three parts of distilled water will also give a solution of 3% concentration.
The problem is how to get the solution of 12% concentration from the 35% concentration. So, how many parts of distilled water will be added to one part of the 35% concentration to give the solution of 12% concentration?
1(35%)l +11(DW)l =12(3%)l..........1
1(12%)l + 3(DW)l = 4(3%)l..........2
We want to know how many litres of distilled water (X) can be added to 1 litre of a substance with 35% concentration to produce Y litre(s) of a solution with 3% concentration. This leads to the third equation, which is given as follows.
1(35%)l + X(DW)l = Y(3%)l..........3
We're looking for X litre(s) of Distilled Water that will produce Y litre(s) of a solution with 12% concentration.
So, multiply eq. 2 by 3.
3[1(12%)l + 3(DW)l = 4(3%)l]
3(12%)l + 9(DW)l = 12(3%)l..........4
Equate eq.1 to eq.4
1(35%)l +11(DW)l = 3(12%)l + 9(DW)l
1(35%)l +11(DW)l - 9(DW)l = 3(12%)l
Therefore,
1(35%)l + 2(DW)l = 3(12%)l
So, 2 litres of Distilled Water needed to 1 litre of the substance with 35% concentration give 3 litres of a solution with 12% concentration.
RomanceRe: Guys I Think I'm About To Marry A MONSTER, Advice Me Pls, No Matter How Harsh by elmajor(m): 4:01pm On Nov 03, 2015
WhoBeThisMan:
I met this girl last year december, beautiful, very comited to church, and she had all characteristics of what I want in a woman or so it seemed. I approched her, she liked me too, we started going out. I just got out from a very messy brakeup so I really was tired of dating, I told her I want to get married thats my intension and we should start working towards it. She said yes.

I met with our pastor, he basically warned me about the sister, she is nice but can be very arrogant, if I was sure this is what I want because there is no turning back, I said yes! (Love dey shark me).

Fastforward to now. This year has been a very challenging year for me financially. This she knows very well. She insisted we do the wedding by october, I told her it would be too soon, im not financially prepared for that. But I really love this girl, and I wanted her to be happy, and also I couldn't wait for her to be my wife (love still dey shark), so we finally agreed for december, even though its going to be a big financial strain on my part.

I had all the plans to raise money worked out, to cut the long story short suddenly things nose dived in business. My financial pathner had some personal challages and had to pull out funds.

She was able to raise some money from her office, but now she puts me down with her words, castigating me, feeling superior because she feels I need her. She says words that are too hurtful that I have to talk myself out of low self esteem.

The painful part is that all my friends and family members warned me about this, I didnt listen.

Now I think she has become a monster, I wish I could but a stop to all these, I really dont need to get marraid right now. I dont even know hownit will be like to live in thesame house with her.

I have always wondered why this very nice lady is still single at this age(age witheld). But now I think its her arrogance that has probably driven away all her potential suitors.

Pls I need advice, feel free to be harsh if need be

Ps this is not my story oo it is a friend cheesy
Bros, I could pull ur friend's left ear for not listening to his pastor's advice. Anyways, it's better ur friend marries late than marries now and live in a hellish marriage. What ur friend should do is to put the preparation on hold until he notices some good manners in the lady otherwise, cancel the marriage and quit. If it's hard to quit, he should postpone the wedding INDEFINITELY.
I'm just suggesting.

Looks pretty straightforward to me.

First, we should note: if, for example, 200ml of 30% conc is added to 200ml of water, it gives 400ml of x% conc (more diluted)
200/400 = x/30; x=15% conc

1 part of 35% conc added to 11 parts of water gives 3% conc.
, i.e. 1 part can be any volume, but we can assume 1 ml for now.
1/(x+1) = 3/35
x = 32
for 11 parts of water; we can have
3/(3 + (32/11).11) = 3/35
where 32/11 = ~3, which makes sense for 1 part of 3ml of solution and 11 parts of 3ml of water

1 part of 12% conc added to 3 parts of water gives 3% conc.
1:4= 3:12
where 4 = 3 parts of water + 1 part of solution

how to get 12% conc from 35% conc?
1 part of 35% conc, how many parts of water to get 12%?

1/(x+1) = 12/35

x = (35-12)/12 = 23/12 = ~2 parts of water

Ans: ~2 parts of water.

Anyways, I love maths and this was a good one to do! cheesy
U're pretty good. But the answer to the question is not an approximation. U may have to adopt another approach.

Without actual details of the power rating of your freezer, pressing iron , tv, water heater and 20 bulbs, I can only give an approximate rating.
With the above you will need about 5kw.

Kva is Kw X power factor (p.f)

Ah is used in rating batteries to convert Ah to KWh you multiply by the voltage rating of the battery. 1kw is 1000W

The reason Satan gets the blame is solely so that the Christians can convince themselves that it's not god doing it. But if you claim that god is not capable of committing evil acts then you are "giving false witness" and committing "blasphemy" against god and his character.
Now I ask you, why do you feel that this "god" is deserving of worship? Even if you believe that he does exist, after all he has done and all he admits, why would you want to devote your life to him? Of all the men who have lived not one of them can come close to the evil that this god is. No one has caused as much death and destruction that this god claims to have done.
It's funny, the relationship that people have with this god reminds me of battered wife syndrome. He'll beat you into submission, threaten you with terrible punishments if you don't comply, convince you that you deserve that horrible treatment because your bad deep inside, then tell you he only does it because he loves you. Actually it's not funny after all. It's pretty damn sad.
Which 'other uncontrollable devil' is humanity searching for when the creator and inventor of evil has declared itself? The position of evil can not be checked because the same God is the creator and inventor of all evil.
Evil started from the same hopeless and foolish God because such useless and senseless God is evil. They do not go to Heaven and they do not go to Hell fire, the same God is the exact devil that deceived all religions about an untrue Heaven and untrue Hell fire!
Hell fire is a fallacy of imagination. NO BODY GOES TO HELL FIRE."
Many toed against the line before him (not she). Some were fortunate to be pardoned by God. He is just the lost sheep Jesus Christ shed His blood to save and He (Jesus Christ) is currently pleading with The Almighty God to forgive him for he does not know what he is saying.
May The Almighty God have mercy on you.

Pres Jonathan is not a despot. One of the quality of a leader is that he listens. Accepting to concede defeat does not suggest cluelessness. He was asked to make the right decision and he did that. You should have been aware of the violence that would have ensued if Mr President objected poll result. He had always say that the ambition of a politician does not worth the blood of a Nigerian. So, conceding before INEC announced the winner was a way to douse apprehension and quell imminent violence. GEJ shouldn't be touchy with Agwai's speech. He simply presented the challenges Nigeria is facing and the way forward. For Mr President to sack the rtd General on his use of 'change' is inappropriate. Having read the General's speech, 'change' was derived from transformation (the President's wachword). He was not speaking for or against a particular political party. He stated the fact. Nigeria needs creative leaders who will proffer solutions to her challenges. And that was what I got from his speech.

RomanceRe: Reasons Why You Should Date A Shy And Introvert Guy. by elmajor(m): 12:26am On Oct 13, 2014
Arva:
I have so many reasons why I should date a shy and introvert guy which I believe many of you forumites will agree to. Usually we ignore the shy and introvert guys, and date the confident, thug looking, rich, tall and ugly guys. The latter kind of guys are not usually the best in my opinion. Have you ever thought about dating a shy guy? There are so many different benefits and you'll be glad you did.

1. They are less intimidating
Confident and extrovert guys can be so intimidating because they surrounds themselves with all kinds of girls and bad manners. Shy guys are less intimidating. They are very gentle and meek and are less likely to reject you. This is one big reason to start rolling along with a shy guy. You'll love them.

2. It’s easy to make them blush
Shy guys have the tendency to blush easily with the slightest of compliments. Just compliment them about their looks and appearance and you'll see the magic of their blush. That really melts my heart a lot unlike the confident and rough guys who will only say a "thank you". That's even if they say it at all. Try dating a shy guy today. You'll love 'em kiss

3. Shy guys won’t cheat on you
Shy guys will never cheat on you. Relationship cheating is what many girls hate and shy and introvert guys will never stoop so low to have another girl behind you but reverse is the case for confident and extrovert guys. They like to explore anything they see with boobs and big behinds even if its not human angry. Confident and extrovert guyz are just so awkward. You'll never like them. I prefer the introvert guys. They'll always stick to you.

4. They are so true, real and genuine
Me loves these set of guys because they are so true to themselves. They will never deceive you. They are just so charming and will never lie to you.

5. They are good listeners.
Shy and introvert guys are just awesome for one thing. They are extremely good listerners. Never will they counter you in any discussion or disrupt the flow of the discussion. All these adorable guys do is listen, listen, listen and listen. Unlike the extrovert guys who will just keep shouting to the extent that other people around you will hear the content of your discussion angry. Shy guys will never stoop so low to that extent. They are always very quiet and meek. kiss

6. They don't party, drink nor smoke.
I'm begining to convince you that shy guys are cool right ? Another reason you should date a shy guy is that they don't engage in party, alcohol or weed. They being an introvert will not even allow them such bad manners. Reverse is the case for the confident guys. They'll make sure they engage in all sort of party. They being an extrovert makes them to boast about the latest and most expensive wines and alcohols they've tasted, they amount of weed the smoke daily and the number of girls they've had sex with from funmi to funke to fumilade to fumilayoangry That's crazy isn't it ? Shy guys are just so cool to themselves. They don't need to brag about anything. Whatever happens never leaks out.

7. Shy and introvert guys are very educated and very intelligent.
This is very true. Shy guys are very educated and very intelligent. They being very intelligent leaves them with no time for social activities. They are so charming. Date an introvert today and you'll be glad you did. I had one as a boyfriend and I wish I had him back. sad
Feel free to add yours.

Where to find a shy guy.
1: Shy guys are very easy to find. If you are still in the university, you can find them at the back seat of your classroom. When others are gones after a lecture, shy guys always remain alone, sitting down, alone with their thought. This is always your best time to approach them. Just compliment him on anything and watch him blush. They are very friendly.

2: During your NYSC.
During your service year, you'll find many of them at the orientation camp. I had sweet experiences with one during my NYSC days. He was so sweet and charming. You'll always find them at the back of the crowd doing almost nothing. They just stand there and clap for others engaging in one task or the other. They are very gentle set of people so don't mind them for not partaking in activites. They don't want to look rough like the extrovert guys. Those of you going for NYSC batch c come november 2014, watch out for the shy guys. You'll love them.

3: During church service
These awesome set of beings are easy to find during church service. They always sit at the back, rarely dance when its time for offering and they rarely come out to give testimonies because they are shy. Isn't that cool ? Unlike the extrovert guys that will even go the awkward length of dancing shoki and skelewu during church service angry. Shy guys will never do this kiss. Oh how can I even forget the way they blush when you ask them questions during sunday school. They are so adorable.
Feel free to add yours.

How to know if a guy is shy and an introvert.

Its very easy to spot these sweet guys. They will always blush at every single thing you say. Another way to spot them is to monitor their movements. Never will you see a shy guy going out unnecessarily. They are always indoors and only come out with their charming self at night. These people are just so cool. Date one today and you'll be glad you did. I can testify to this. We dated for years and sweet memories still ring in me.
Feeel free to add yours.

Ur write-up makes sense to me. I'm an introvert, phlegmel I believe. I'm dating (perhaps, courting) a lady, I hope to settle down with. She loves me and I love her too.
Knowing that I'm too quiet to a fault, she sometimes encourages me to spice up my behaviour and to dress more casual. I just like to dress simple bcuz I don't like to attract attention but I don't find her opinion offensive though. I think we are just cool.
