I commend the project but Biafraa is the only way out. Hausa-Fulani will jeopardize this since anything power in the state level will have to be approved by the Federal Government/Ministry of Power.
It might interest u to know that FG has states autonomy to produce their own power. The only thing SE states need is dedication to finish the project.

HealthRe: Remember Conjoined Twins Abby And Brittany? This Is What They Look Like Now by elmajor(m): 9:51am On Jul 24, 2017
gabonsky:
Abby and Brittany Hensel took the world by storm when they appeared on TLC. The conjoined twins have spent most of their lives in the public eye, showing the world how siblings who are conjoined go through with every day tasks.

Abby and Brittany share a body, but have two separate heads and brains. They are completely different people and emphasize they want to be treated as such.

This is the break down of how their body is distributed:

2 heads
2 spines merging at the coccyx and joined at the thorax by sections of ribs. Surgery was employed to correct scoliosis.
2 completely separate spinal cords
2 arms (originally 3, but rudimentary central arm was surgically removed, leaving central shoulder blade in place)
1 broad ribcage with 2 highly fused sternums and traces of bridging ribs. Surgery was employed to expand the pleural cavities.
2 breasts
2 hearts in a shared circulatory system (nutrition, respiration, medicine taken by either affects both)
4 lungs with the medial lungs moderately fused, not involving Brittany's upper right lobe; three pleural cavities
1 diaphragm with well-coordinated involuntary breathing, slight central defect
2 stomachs
2 gallbladders
1 liver, enlarged and elongated right lobe
Y-shaped small intestine, which experiences a slightly spastic double peristalsis at the juncture
1 large intestine (one colon)
3 kidneys: 2 left, 1 right
1 bladder
1 set of reproductive organs
2 separate half-sacrums, which converge distally
1 slightly broad pelvis
2 legs

Watching Abby and Brittany grow up through TLC specials, the world saw them go to school, celebrate their birthdays, and even get their driver's license (yes, they each had to pass separately.)

Abby and Brittany's parents contemplated separation, but ultimately decided against it because it was likely one of the twins wouldn't survive.

Their first appearance on TV was in 1996 on The Oprah Winfrey Show. The twins captured everyone's hearts with their upbeat attitudes and positive views on life.

In 2012, their last TLC special aired which ultimately turned into a full-blown TV show for them. Since 2013, however, they have been keeping a relatively low profile.

Now, in 2017, the twins are teaching (together, obviously) at Mounds View elementary school.

It's great to see that Abby and Brittany are able to lead normal lives after being so publicized in their early life!

Foreign AffairsDonald Trump Inauguration: Everything You Need To Know by elmajor(op): 3:35pm On Jan 18, 2017
On January 20, Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America.

No more President-elect, no more PEOTUS (President-elect of the United States). President Trump will officially take office.

The whole shindig is known as the Presidential Inauguration and it has a long history dating right back to the United States' first president, George Washington.

When is everything happening?
Here's what time you can expect everything to happen on Inauguration Day. Some of the exact times have yet to be officially finalised, so treat these as a rough guide.

Friday, 3:00 pm WAT
The President-elect attends a morning worship service.

Friday, 3:30 pm WAT
The Inaugural Swearing-in Ceremony begins. The crowd will be entertained by performers until the President-elect arrives.

Who's signed on to perform at Mr Trump's inauguration? Here's who you can expect to see and who turned down an invite

Friday, 4:30am WAT
President-elect Trumpheads to the White House for a meetingwith soon-to-be former President Barack Obama. From there, they head to the swearing-in ceremony at the US Capitol together.

Photo Barack Obama and Donald Trump will meet in private one last time before the inauguration ceremony.

Friday, 5:45 pm WAT
Incoming vice-president Mike Pence takes his oath of office first.

Friday, 6:00 pm WAT
At noon (local time), the term of the new administration officially begins. Mr Trump will step up and take the oath of office, administered by the Chief Justice of the United States, John Roberts.

It reads:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

From this point onwards, we're in the term of President Trump.

Friday, 6:10 pm WAT
President Trump will step up to the lectern to deliver hisInaugural Address. Both of Barack Obama's inaugural addressesran for about 20 minutes each.

Photo US President Barack Obama gives his inaugurational address after being sworn in.

Friday, 7:00 pm WAT
After the conclusion of the inaugural ceremony, it's time tofarewell Barack Obamaand Vice-President Joe Biden (as well as their families).

They'll be escorted out by the new President and Vice-President. Since the '70s, the former president and first lady have left the Capitol grounds by a helicopter, if weather permits.

Friday, 7:30 pm WAT
It's time to have a break and grab something to eat.

The Inaugural Luncheon is organised by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies and normally features food from the states of the new President and Vice-President (that's New York and Indiana for those playing along at home).

Friday, 8:30am WAT
After lunch, President Trump and Vice-President Pence lead the Inaugural Paradealong Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House.

Members of the public will line the street, so expect plenty of well wishers and protesters as well.

The Inaugural Committee has announced there will be more than 8,000 participants marching in this year's parade.

Saturday, 1:00am WAT
The day finishes with Inaugural Balls held across Washington.

Mr Trump has announced he'll attend two official balls on the night.

EazyMoh:
Who cares! Useless 5percentile, let then go and die!
On a serious note, the main infrastructure deficit in the SE are roads, and almost all federal roads in the region are captured in the budget and are currently been repaired. There hasn't been a viable rail project to the region due to its location. Also no dam project is viable in the region. So don't expect PMB to do things just because of your wailing. You people should have learnt something, its same with appointments and projects, so long he's satisfied it's the best decision, he goes for it!
And there are projects like financing the budget, social interventions and agricultural projects with no specific region, meaning the SE will benefit from those. So its not like the region isn't benefiting anything from the money.
Anyway like I said, who cares?
What do u mean by "useless 5percentile"? Do u know that there is no Nigeria without SE? Why have u not been canvassing for the secession of SE if u were not benefiting from its economic significance? I think that's the only way u can let them "go and die".

Stoned? = wrong grammar
Stoned= A state of mind which occurs after smoking enough marijuana to the point where the user stares blankly into whatever catches his/her attention.
E.g
"I was so stoned I didn't notice the movie was in French."

Hauled missile should be a better phrase.

N/B stoned is totally different from "stonning"... .. .. Which is a form of capital punishment by hauling stone at someone until person kick the bucket
Stoned is also used as the past tense of the verb 'stone', which means to throw stone at somebody in order to injure or killed them. E.g., he was stoned to death.

RomanceRe: Any Guy Who Doesn't Have A House And A Car Should Not Get Married Or Even Date! by elmajor(m): 5:46pm On Mar 20, 2016
I disagree with op. First, a rich man may not be a wealthy man. A rich man has instant cash to spend but a wealth man has investment (it can be in financial assets or in real assets).
A man must not have a car or own a house for him to be able to take care of his wife and children. If a man will constantly pay his house rent, feed his family and provide other basic need like children school fees without owning a house or a car, should he not marry?

Even if it's proven that Engineer died as a result of her bite, she acted in self-defence. The engineer could have killed her. The deceased assaulted her in her room and she did nothing. As if that was not enough for him, he brought a knife to slit her throat. That is attempted murder and is jailable. The corps deserves posthumous jail sentence for assault and attempted murder.

I cannot imagine I am pending these last words to you. I feel a very sharp pain within me. I recall our university years. You were so brave, full of life and put your friends first as you were doing to the Cameroun nation. I looked through our last conversation, I could not stop but to weep. I asked you to be very tactful, I assured you that the Cameroun people have your back and each day we put you and your comrades in prayers but it seems God needed you most. Rest in peace brother.

We shall defeat Boko Haram. Yes, we shall defeat them and some day, your photo shall be honoured in the hall of fame. I promise you that.
Bara Mark

"I di protect na wonna for up dey so if die for dey make wonna no cry" That was the last thing you said to me in Limbe before your deployment. Always the first to smile and make others happy, A Captain who commanded so much respect from his subordinates. Your kindness knew no boundaries, giving away your salary in my presence to help fellow soldiers who were in need. You escorted me to Maroua on your time off, you even paid my bar tab after one of our long nights out in the town. If there is something I will never forget about you, it will be your kindness! You fought a good fight and showed love to all who came your way. Your family misses you and we all miss you. Safe travels to the other side my brother your memory lives on!

You took up the fight to the North. A fight we as Cameroonians can't understand where it's coming from but you went to protect us and keep us safe. You died so young and with life still ahead of you but you died doing what you love. You died for your country. May the government not forget that!

We celebrate you Lt. We salute you! Go well and we will remember you Capt. Yari.

Pipso, I remember our first meeting after the SaHeCo days infront of the Man O War Bay camp, that famous 25th December 2012 we spent together happily, till our Manoka pre-construction meeting. You've always been a core warrior and to us a friend and brother, remember our last meeting during SHESA97 Feb 2014 reunion when u told me u love my swag. Bro barely a month as Captain you fell in battle front, we shall miss you famous words "gars y'a rien" Rest In Peace, you shall remain in our hearts as a hero fallen defending our country.
Engr. Justice ANKENGATEH

My only Capi, Pipso Black. Can't believe you are gone. You were a brother to me. I remember how we shared the same room in Buea for over a year as freshmen. We slept in one bed planning our future together and in your own words you told me University of Buea wasn't your calling. I remember that same call from your dad late at night that made you decide to join EMEA and I decided to join the civil marine. We had our life destinations fixed for our lifetime. You went to EMEA and I went to the Regional Maritime University in Ghana. We all loved what we wanted to be in future. Now our passion is taking a toll on us. My able Capi. How can you leave me this way. Remember we agreed to collect all the ranks to the best of our career. God has ranked you to the highest and he wants you to be the Capi of his angels. I love and will forever miss you till we meet in eternity.

EducationRe: Poor Grades In School: Come To My Aid Nlders, I Need Your Advice by elmajor(m):
AmNotADullard:
Good day Nairalanders, the time I started writing this is 3:22am, whether am a popular NLder or not doesn't matter, but I would like to Conceal my identity. These would be a bit long, because I would want to explain all what is happening and has been happening to me concerning my education.

I am from the eastern part of Nigeria, and school somewhere in the south, part of the top 10 universities in Nigeria.
Back in my, Primary and Junior secondary school, I was extremely brilliant, always part of first 3, a lot of times I was 1st in class and best overall. Even my junior waec, I was so happy, people were happy for me.

The problem started in my secondary school, I noticed I started dropping, my 2nd term in SS1, I was 21/23 in class, same school, same class mates.
I thought maybe I had started playing to much, so I stopped all what I figured out could be the problem, yet there was no solution, my parents got me private teachers for my core subjects. Once they are with me, I would understand what they teach me, when they leave, I don't slack, I continue reading and reading, when exam comes, it would seem like I wasn't the one who read. A day before the exam, it would be fresh in my head and when I even write the exam, my mind would be like "you have killed it"
My parents would ask how it was, my reply would be: "yes, it was perfect, expecting the perfect result".

When I see my result, I would as usual fail virtually everything.
Still, I managed to go/forge ahead, I was able to pass my WASSCE in one sitting, how I did that I don't know, not that I passed outstandingly, I only had 'credit' in all the subject I was expect to have grade 'C'.

Then the hustle for Jamb came, let it be known that I wrote jamb 5 times, and the 5th time was when I got admitted to my school of choice.

Currently in my 200level, we resumed a new session about 2months ago. Now to what caused dis write up.

My first semester of 100level result: C, F, A, D, D.

A terrible result for someone in 100level, yes, I know. I felt too relaxed first semester, played a lot.
I determined that 2nd semester would be better, not that I was expecting all A's but I didn't want any F.
So my whole 2nd semester was reading all through, I read to the extent that I started feeling sure I should have A's in at least 3 out of 6 courses.

But when the result came in, it was worse than my first semester without me playing or getting distracted,
My 2nd semester of 100level result: C, F, C, E, C,F

And now 200level has kicked off, but something is happening to me.

I don't think I can survive this anymore,
My parents don't have money, my dad is struggling to send us to school.
None of my siblings work,
I have been contemplating different means of ending my life,
I move about with shame, I don't sleep anymore, I can't get my head straight, I would stay awake all night crying and praying for a change in my academic life.

I have done all what I think I can humanly do, hence why the thought of taking my life,
I know I can't create a life, but of what use is one that doesn't seem to make people happy?
But then, I decided to come on here, to ask if there is something else in reading I am not doing apart from, reading.... I have applied all the reading techniques applicable, jot while reading, revise, ask myself questions, and all. But still after exam, I don't seem to have that desired result, I have prayed countless times.

By my side is a chemical I got when I discovered I had 2f's. Education, they say is the best legacy. But in my case it isn't sure if it would be, I am a business oriented person, but no money to even establish myself, so that's not an option, please Nairalanders, I don't wish to Take my life, please is there anything you can suggest to me other than suicide and constant reading and prayers. I am 22years of age.

cry
God bless.
I just hope this is not belated.
When I read ur post Topic I asked myself, what u are waiting for. That was a bad thought. Ur story is saddening. I can only imagine the emotional pain u're going through. But then, SUICIDE is NOT the OPTION! Probably u've tried everything to get better result and it fail I am sure u've left one thing out. Dear friend, NOTHING PASS GOD. Go to God with all ur heart and table ur problem b4 Him. Don't say He knows. Purify urself by confessing ur sins to Him and ask Him to cleanse u with the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST and then, talk to Him as ur Father. He will surely come to ur help.
So my good friend, suicide is not the solution but God, through His Son Jesus Christ, is the solution u need.
