aodiki:@ aodiki, I didnt really want to comment but i think i should, the only difference between the 1998-1999 mazda and the 2000-2002 is position of the reverse light on the rear lights. for the 98-99, the reverse lights are below every other lights in the rear while from 2000-2002, the reverse lights are above. So it is not whether its a factory fitted sound system with CD and cassette player. The poster could kindly post the vin and let us verify. This is a neat ride anyway so if you want to buy just go there with your mechanic and inspect before buying. Period. And I would like to know where you would get a tokunbo of this model for lesser than 900k, because i would gladly sell my car and buy it. Happy sales williams_r |
Thanks Ademlabi |
@onwan Thanks for the enlightenment |
Onwan:Onwan, I think you should exercise some restraint any time you are trying to help people out What do you mean by wasting time online, you think that if i was in ikeja, i would be asking this question in this forum? I used to give you some level of respect but you just dey fall my hand. Cool down a bit and be polite when replying posts. I just read a post that you were practically irritable (concerning the autoreg stuff). If you dont have information about a matter just pass on. For your information, I am not in the country at the moment and will be coming in over the weekend. Anyone who can help out, i am still waiting. |
@ larryshow I probably think this should go to the travel section but i really need to know what papers i would need to drive my car from Lagos to cotonou through Seme border so as not to be disturbed by the authorities in Benin Republic. Please people who have done this before should help me out. I am on an official assignment for a month in Cotonou and i really need to be mobile. If you also know the cost of procurement of these papers, you could help me out. I will get the ECOWAS brown card from nigeria but i don't have an international drivers' license and i was told i could be issued a license to drive in Benin Republic at the border. I urgently need professional advise. Thanks |

This is a pre1998 model so it could not have been manufactured in 1998. Post the vin and let us tell you the year of manufacture. Check this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda |
Sorry i meant the seventh picture |
@emeshot, Try and remove the second picture you uploaded. It is not for the CRV, I guess it's a mix up |
@Zelig Would you please let prospective buyers know that this is a converted vehicle. IT came in as a righty. |
I have also seen that it is a real time 4WD, inscribed at the rear glass, close to the extra tire casing. This is definitely a full option drive of it's time. Happy sales emeshot |
@misspink, That is definitely a nigerian registered dealer number, If you have been a bit vigilant in ur neighbourhood u should have noticed that. |
I need proof that this vehicle is a 4wd. This is definitely a nice ride |
Femmy, How much will get the 2001 mazda 626 Lx, 4 Cyl. Auto gear mazda 626 to my abode in lagos with genuine customs papers. Please outline the cost urgently. Thanks |
emytech:@ Emytech: You just did what was called the unprofessional shortcut. I bet u that if it is not an emission related problem that has to deal with the fuel tank cover, your ECU will detect the fault after you drive btw 50-80 miles again and trigger the check engine light. Your best bet is to still scan your vehicle and pull out the codes and know what to repair or change or maybe what to tighten, it could be a thousand and one things. Provision store better pass kiosk o! (Prevention is better than cure). All the best. |
@Poster; From your vin number, it is a 1998 model not a 2000 model. Please edit to clarify. Nice and rugged vehicle though and happy sales. |
@poster PLEASEEEEE don't top it with the green coloured abro brand because the moment you do that, a chemical reaction is initiated and your radiator walls and engine cooling jackets will begin to corrode. (We call them coolant but these stuff are actually anti-rust). The mixture of the two will do you too much damage than good. What you should do is just top up your reservoir with water which is the actual COOLANT, i am also wondering why you are loosing fluid which is not normal. If you must use the green coloured abro, please flush your radiator and engine cooling jacket and make sure there is no trace of the pink antirust in the cooling system. I wish you the best. I dont think you can get the pink coloured antirust any where in naija, but i might be wrong. |
Only an autodiagnostic machine can let you know if it is a fault that can be repaired without replacing the transmission. Don't replace the transmission until u av scanned the vehicle. All the best |
Get the vehicle scanned first with an OBDII scanner, they are all over lagos |
If i am not mistaken, this car has been sold! sold!! sold!!! |
Do you have the automatic transmission of this cute mazda? |
I hope none of these catalytic converters will require modification of the exhaust (welding and cutting). I really need to know to make a decision fast. Thanks |
It is a 3.4L engine and the make of the air flow meter is Denso |
inspired_m:Sorry I meant 1998 Toyota 4runner SR5 - Six cylinders - How much can i get the O2 sensor (bank 1), air flow meter and catalytic converter? Will be awaiting your prompt response. |
