Inspired, Can i get a new mass air flowmeter and O2 sensor for my 98 model Toyota 4runner. How much will it cost and how do i effect payment? |
Femmy, How much is the 2003 corolla delivered thru lagos port? |
@ poster, I don't know why you claim to have used this babyboy for 5 months when your plate number was issued about one and a half years ago NY 648 KJA and also this is not a 2001/2002 honda accord, you'd see the difference from the rear lights. Try and check your vin/Chasis number, if the tenth digit is neither 1 nor 2 then it is a 98/99 model as i suspect it should be, except the rear lights were changed. Nice Car though and happy sales. |
@salesauto, What make of autodiagnostics machine do you sell, and do u conduct trainings on how to use it? |
@Abbey-Luck, This is definitely not a mazda millenia (there is nothing like mazda millenium), It is a 98 or 99 model mazda 626 lx, so please change your post so as not to confuse people. |
It can't be done manually, The service engine soon light does not just mean that you should do a normal service, you need to scan the car and it would pull out some codes which would show you where to fix, but if you have done that before, you will still need the diagnostic machine to reset the light. I have a professional diagnostic machine and could help you do that for a token, you can call 07029897068. Do have a nice day. |
Bros, Autoboss V30 is an OBDII diagnostic machine so it can only diagnose cars from 1996 upwards. Try and correct your introduction so that people will not be misled. |
How come nobody is also thinking of the possibility of a defective airbag (SRS) system in this car. I have seen a lot of people driving their so called american/japanese machines (cars) with their airbag lights on on the dashboard and yet they dont think about checking it out. I think we are all jumping to hasty conclusions. The lights on your instruments cluster are to warn in case there is a problem and that is why the airbag light is RED not green. So there could have been another side to these stories. Mind you, i am not a kia or hyundai lover. |
@Kunle-a How much does the mazda 6 go for, I need to know the prices for the different models |
@Kunle-A Could i please know how much this would go for? |
mishooo:@Mishoo, I wont be so fast to jump to conclusion like u just did, there might be a cause for control. Let's start from here, Airbag light on- It probably might have been on since you bought it, what some dubious dealers do as i have been a victim is that theý'd replace the steering airbag and just replace the cover for the passenger airbag area instead of the airbag itself. It might be the case in this or your airbag sensor assembly has a crack or it is faulty or your airbag sensor(s) has a bad connection or it is faulty. We also need to know the type of car you are talking about. THE DANGER HERE IS THAT YOUR SELF RESTRAINT SYSTEM (airbags) WILL NOT WORK IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION. Dont take it lightly. Get it checked well. You shouldn't just entrust this case to a rewire. The check engine light- Get your vehicle scanned with a professional scanner not an handheld, it you stay aroung Iju area of agege, during the weekend (sunday) i could scan it for you for free, or if you are around badagry during week days (Mon-Sat) i could also offer the same service for free. IT will definite ly pull out a code. Dont let your rewire tamper with the bulb on the instrument cluster or remove the fuse. Wishing you the best in correcting this fault. |
@kunle-A, Are there highlanders with the 4 cylinders that are 4WD? |
Bros, A naija used eod for 1.7m, Please be serious! |
We all know how some people behave, the best thing is just to ignore them and move on. We also know that if the poster had put the ridiculous price they are bargaining for on the car, they are the same people that would say it is a stolen car. So the best thing is to ignore them and move on. They all know the average prices these cars go for, yet they wouldn't price reasonably. But my philosophy is just simply no, it can't fly for that price QED. |
seal777:@Seal777, I think u should exhibit some civility in this forum. You sound too harsh, I guess the guys were just trying to negotiate. @friendl nice car you've got there |
Your check engine light will definitely be on so you will need to do a scan. Although i have a professional scanning machine i will still advise you to contact one of these automedics guys. You can call Kunle on 08038292296. They are professional mechanics (trained in the US) and can also fix the problem after scanning. But they aren't cheap but their charges are NOWHERE near what coscharis will charge. All the best. |
Just to also add that since the weight of the 205 is more there will be a slightly more fuel consumption of your vehicle. Many people dont know that. The fuel consumption is considrable more if you increase the diameter of your rim. Take care |
malipous:@malipous, I agree with you, the seat belt has probably been replaced to unsuspecting buyers. The signs are obvious in the rear lights. |
Please send pics to t_oduniyi@email.com |
@earthplus, Could you also post the mileage and the vin number? |
@earthplus, You promised to get back to me yesterday for inspection but you didn't, Please advise |
@tedanne: You might have a problem called readaptation, for some models of cars, once you change anything on the power train or even remove a socket on your injection system, you have to readapt the system (passat exibits this problem alot), Readaptation can only be done by a professional scanning machine not a hand held scanner. I hope you still have your old gearbox cos you might have to resort back to it. It is is a model from 97 and above, your only bet is to get it scanned with someone that has an OBDII professional scanning machine that will scan the whole powertrain, It will bring up some codes, and some text will follow the codes, once you have these codes you can either call Kunle or Ben on these numbers 08038292296 or 08057777961 respectively. This is their turf. Mechanics and rewires will just be tossing your around, believe you me i have been there before and i feel what you are going through but it these is not well rectified i.e taking these stated steps, this is just the beginning of your nightmares. DON'T LET ANY AUTO ELECTRICIAN TURN YOUR CAR TO SCRAP,THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT THAT. (Let's change the brain-box etc) get your can scanned to start with. then call kunle or ben and they'd tell you or your mechanic, the next step to take. Half a word is enough for the wise. |
@nicholdave, Automedics is aired on 102.3FM (Radio continental), Mondays to Fridays btw 8.30am - 9am. |
@awolols The airbag light is on and your check engine light is also on, the implication is that either the airbag had deployed and was replaced and the necessary scan to erase the light was not done or when the car was taken for alighnment, the steering was opened up and when it was been tightened back the clog spring was not properly positioned. For the check light, please advise any prospective buyer to do a scan. I know what dubious dealers do is that they'd remove the battery terminals and put it back so that when the buyer comes, the check engine light would not show up but after buying it and driving around for like 2 days, it comes up on the dashboard since the ecu now registers the fault in the memory. I would compliment you for not doing that before taking the pics of the dashboard but please advise the prospective buyer what to do. Rectification of these problems might not be expensive at all but it could be the other way round. Very nice car and happy sales dude. |
What is the mileage? what model (year) is it? what is the fuel consumption like? Will 850k pick up this baby? |
Oga, Thanks for the good works, Could you please help me check this vin: 4T1BF28K2YU093144 |
@Unlimited, Please what is the mileage and has the engine been changed before? |
Mr. Smooth, Please note well that no insurance is transferable (3rd party or comprehensive). So whoever is buying would need to insure the car in his/her own name. Dont make the mistake of using another person's insurance. It won't fly when there is a claim. BE WARNED. Nice clean car though. |
How were you now able to clear a '97 honda bulldog, knowing fully well that you cant pay duty for that model of car anymore? |
