My dear, let me tell you what you do not know. Igbos want an Igbo ONLY country, but for some unknown reasons, IPOB wants the 1967 Biafra, plus other Igbos not captured in that Biafra. These are Igbos in Edo, Delta, Kogi and Benue. Some think it may be because of access to the sea that they want the minorities in the South, but that should not be an issue. Even if Ijaw, Ogoni, Annang, Ibibio and Ikwerre refuse to join Biafra, the Igbo nation can create access to the sea through the Urashi River and River Niger. But if the Ikwerre who deny their Igboness and Opobo which is owned by Igbo become part of the new nation, that would not be an issue since these are bounded by the Atlantic. So with either Opobo or Ikwerre, Biafra would have direct access to the sea, but if these vote in a referendum not to be part of Biafra, dredging the River Niger and Urashi River would be the options left. This could be settled through a maritime agreement. Afterall, oil and gas are piped from the SE and SS all the way to the North and beyond. So accounts can be balanced with that.

Having said that, let me also say that if Igbos leave Nigeria without the Southern minorities, it will be a tough call for them to get their own country. These things just do not work that way. You see, Igbo are paying the price of self determination and it is only a matter of time for the world to hear them. Let me tell you what will happen then. The call for referendum will be honored and that referendum will be for all Igbo in Nigeria and the former Biafra of 1967. Nevertheless, the minorities such as Ijaw can speak up loudly not to be included in the referendum but I doubt that that would work with the UN. All would be made to participate and decide if they would be part of Biafra or not. That is when people like your daddy can make their voices heard. Ijaw is a closely knit tribe and I am sure that they can make their voices heard as one people and decide not to be part of Biafra. In which case, they revert back to Nigeria when Igbo and others that vote Yes exit.

Now on a final note, do not think that Ijaw and the minorities would casually demand for a referendum after Igbo has gone. It doesn't work that way, the choice before them is join Igbo or remain in Nigeria. There is no middle ground. I suspect that this is why IPOB is insisting on carrying along the minorities - the power in numbers. If Biafra exits without the minorities, not even in 100 years would they have the voice to get a referendum from the UN. They lack that clout as minorities, so their voice is Igbo. You can take a cue from the Kurds in Iraq and Turkey who have been agitating for decades. Igbo are paying with resilience and blood. Can the minorities do that when Igbo are gone? Good luck to you.

You see all these south south shit..personally I would say make we just carry Akwaibom and cross river join body.. These are the only non igbo tribe that are showing real interest.

There'll be time for that. The time we are in is survival for the referendum. The way people campaign for election is the way they'll campaign for referendum. Everyone with sense of history knows that there's no way a UN backed referendum would not include all Igbo speaking regions AND the previous 1967 Biafra. That would be the time to open their eyes. These ones making noise online are mere pawns, some of whom have been paid to cause disunity and even discourage the imaginary Niger Delta not to unite with Igbo. Even Fulani knows that there is no going back to Igbo exit. What they're hoping is that these ones would be foolish enough to let Igbo leave without them, so that they all get devoured. My brother, we Igbo have enough challenges as it were to start bothering about people who are too blind to see tomorrow, My happiness is that there are many from Akwaibom as passionate about Biafra as the ignorant ones. Whatever the case, it wont really be a bad idea if they vote not to join Biafra. The world knows that we Igbo have what it takes to be a country to be reckoned with. The bad news is that they think that Igbo would leave through a referendum, then they too would leave thereafter. What they do not know is that Igbo exit without them is a nail in the coffin for their funeral. But who really cares?

What you have to know is that the Fulani is pumping in a lot of money through their leaders to confuse them and cause disunity between them and Igbo. It's actually their funeral if Igbo leaves without them. What capacity do they have to withstand the rampaging Janjaweeed. Why do we even need them? The only reason I gave concession to Akwaibom is that they are the only ones dying like the Igbo for Biafra. This Prinnce1 is obviously a minority in Akwaibom despite all the money changing hands, that knows nothing about the power play and the calamity about befalling the rest of blind Nigerians. One way or the other, Igbo exit is what every Igbo man with sense wants. Even we have the efulefus too.

Before you drew that Biafra map of yours, how many south south stakeholders did you guys consult and make a compromise. I carry my junior siblings along in whatever decision am to make that will affect the family presently or in the future without thinking am the eldest. Nigeria has failed us, we have been marginalized to the extreme but that won't make us carry on a decision we have no clear idea of. The disintegration of this failed country is in the hands of the south south and guess what the whole country knows about it.

And as for seeing those that matter in the Niger Delta areas.. That have been done a long time ago. But why you seem to see divisions is that the divide and rule is working so well on us.. If you are not into senior politics you may not understand this from the surface.

Again all those of value in the Niger Delta areas have been met, trust me that's why you see their chiefs come out to support biafra but those who were imposed on us (governors) and co keep opposing it because of their selfish gains.
