Please I would be very glad to get my Firefox browser back to normal.

I went through the Internet connection, even Modem connection.
After that, I connect to Internet and started Firefox but couldn't see the progress bar
to know how it was connecting.
I even did a system restore to the previous day but the problem persisted.
Even after putting a web address and open a new tab, the initial web address I put will still be there instead of opening a blank new tab.
Even the BACK, FORWARD, REFRESH and STOP buttons went dead after some times.

Please, Can anyone tell me what the problem is and possibly how to solve this problem because I prefer to use Firefox[Mozilla].
