Not sure why this is such a difficult question. i dont want to "abadon" the account. i want to deactivate it. Where are the Admin guys? por Seun the owner of the forum, surely one of them can answer this most simple of all questions?
Nairaland / General / Re: For Seun by elsie2(f): 9:53pm On Oct 13, 2009
The reason is irrelevant. Seun can you answer the above question?

Good list Sienna and well done. I always thought Ogheneovo meant "One God" as opposed to " God alone". undecided

@ Poster this is my list,
Eseoghene or Ese= God's gift
Afure= i think it means Purity
Doro= Not sure of its meaning
Oghenemaro OR Maro=Roughly means God is great or big.
Efemena OR Mena=Here is my wealth.

The former "senior colleague" in question was almost certainly born before 1982 (26 years old) that would account for her experience. I have relatives who followed the same route and they were all born b/4 1982.

@ mai suya
i agree. Of course its annoying when a guest fails to turn up. i would have felt slighted but not held on to the annoyance for so long!. Same thing has happened to me in the past and i usually forgive and forget after giving vent to my feelings.

Family / Re: Can U Marry A Lady That Has A Child by elsie2(f): 12:50am On Jan 14, 2009
Interesting discussion and perspectives.
@ poster, what is ur relationship with the child in question like? ie do u like him/her and vice versa.
A friend  i respect married a divorcee with 2 kids & they have i of the most loving & disciplined family i have seen.
She treats the kids as her own, and i don't mean that she gives them special favours etc.
It can work, but u have to have a heart big enough to accommodate kids that are not yours & who are iinvariably"difficult"

That said, maybe we should rephrase the question slightly, (to move it away from the unhelpful issue of waywardness)
to "Can u marry a widow/widower with kid(s)?"
Family / Re: Was This Unforgivable? by elsie2(f): 7:41am On Jan 13, 2009
Phew!
Thanks Guys, am a bit relieved. It was really strange. I thought about it a lot and was a bit baffled, thats why i decided to seek alternative views.
I am one of those people that like to be alone when am sad or grieving. When my Sis called to tell me the bad news she wanted to keep me on the phone talking b/c she said i was on my own at home, but i told her, " i have to be alone to come to terms with the news, "

@Mohawkchic, hey! stop making me laugh! cheesy Anyway, i hadn't done it b/4 and it was actually the first time he had invited me for a function.
But ur acquaintance/mate gist reminds me of a pet hate of mine, people who plan parties without sufficient resources and then insist on "taxing" (no other word for it) their guests. No be by force to hold party! or try hold the one u fit afford. Which one is this new one of " hey Elsie am inviting u to my birthday on Sat and by the way, i have u down as coming with the Rice and Chicken, shuohhh? shocked shocked shocked shocked
Family / Was This Unforgivable? by elsie2(f): 12:28am On Jan 13, 2009
Hi Guys smiley
A friend invited me for his daughter's christening last week. I agreed to attend but unfortunately, on the day of the party, i got a call saying that my Aunty had died. I was devastated and didn't attend the party. I didn't feel up to interacting with people for a few days. I called a week later, apologised and explained why i had failed to attend. I also sent an email to him. I got the cold shoulder. He now refuses to speak to me.
I feel bad. Was failing to attend and phone for a week an unforgivable social sin? Have you got similar experiences? Lets share it.

Hi, HR.Hotness
Thanks for your prompt reply but the secret oil i bought from Peckam and the one i just received from Nigeria were both made in Emene IN Eastern Nigeria.! They both mention Patricia Molton but it cleary states "MADE IN EMENE".
Were you able to get one that was made by SIMMONDS GERBERDING? If so please can you let me know where you got it?. Thanks.

Aysotemin, i think my question still stands. Which of these different types of secret oil did u buy and found so usefull?. Please let me know. Thanks.
Fashion / Re: How Far Would You Go To Look Beautiful? by elsie2(f): 11:37am On Jun 14, 2008
Hi Aysometin,
Could u please tell me which of the Secret Oil u used and found helpful?. Was it the omagba-onitsha, emene-enugu or the
simmonds gerberding?. The one i bought from Peckham in London was made in Patricia Milton but made in Emene. i am yet to start using it and i want to confirm if this is the one you are having so much luck with or if i have to search for another. Thanks. Elsie.

@ Ajebota,
Hello, just wanted to run this past you to see if you have any pointers.
I paid for the 50% and 30% TCA Peel on the Perfect skin website at the end of May but i am yet to receive the items. Was there a delay when you shopped with them in the past?. Thanks.
Fashion / Re: How Far Would You Go To Look Beautiful? by elsie2(f): 9:45pm On May 26, 2008
Hello Everyone,
@HR.Hotness, Thanks a lot 4 ur tips. I bought the Secret Oil a few days ago in Peckham. It was 99p. I am yet to use it however.

@Ajebota, Many thanks 2 u. I called the Colonic Irrigation Clinic last week. I had my first appointment on Sat. It was lovely!. Everything went smoothly and i felt so good afterwards, i felt lighter and also noticed weight loss. I would be having a follow-up appointment next Sat. I wasnt hoping for that much, but it really exceeded my expectations and it was £70 well spent. Thanks once again. smiley

Thanks everyome for your prompt replies. cheesy
@Ajebota and HR.Hotness,
I dont have any acne scars whatsoever but what i do have and i am desperate to get rid of is a complexion problem with parts of my face, (4head and sides of face) darker than the rest of my face. I just want to have the one even colour all over, light or dark.
Do u think i will be a good candidate for the chemical peels?. Possible in lower concentrations like 10 or 20%?.
Thanks.
Fashion / Re: How Far Would You Go To Look Beautiful? by elsie2(f): 1:55pm On May 22, 2008
HR.Hotness,
thanks for the secret oil tip. I have just ordered some form my cousin in Nigeria but will check Peckham later on to see if they have it.
@ all,
Nice Thread, please lets keep it going,
Personally i have settled on Loreal's Peel and Demabrasion products, after a lot of trial and error. They work OK, are not too expensive and do not Irritate my sensitive skin.
Fashion / Re: How Far Would You Go To Look Beautiful? by elsie2(f): 1:39pm On May 22, 2008
Hi Ajebota,
Thanks for the thread, really interesting, and informative.
Could you provide the details for the place in London where you did the colonic irrigation?. Thanks.
Also what kind of 50% TCA peel did u use and was it effective?
