Ur mates are shining their shine so u should get up from ur whining arse and shine urs My dear, you and I can reason that way because we probably aren't prone to depression. There are people who have a high propensity for depression. Anything can trigger it off. I just used social media as an example. Hope you got that bro. |

YelloweWest: My dad is a retired foriegn officer. As a kid I lived in several countries in Africa and Europe. I've seen first had how Nigerians are treated differently from other black African nationals because of the high crime perpetuated by our poeple.... Bro, I do not disagree with you that there are lots of Nigerians perpetrating crimes all over the world. But I can assure you that there are Americans also involved in such crimes and yet by heir country men are not demonized because of the actions of a few. There are scammers in Nigeria, there are also scammers in the U.S. and other countries. It's easier to pick on the Nigerian because his government doesn't give a sh1t. You as a person, are you a criminal? Probably not. So are Many millions of other Nigerians working hard and earning a honest wage. |

YelloweWest: No, I don't think Qatar has that policy for all counties. Cos the lady that brought this policy to light was a Nigerian woman who lives in the US. Herself and her class mates planned a reunion in Qatar. All of them were granted visa except for her. She was the only Nigerian. They even refused to refund her plane ticket money that was when she lost it.
Nigerians are generally criminal minded. That I won't argue. Permit me to disagree with you. Nigerians are not generally criminal minded. There are over 150million Nigerians, How Many do you know personally and How Many are criminals? I know that lots of Nigerians love breaking the law and they've given us a bad name all over the world Which is so unfortunate because there are lots of Nigerian achievers all over the world. Racism hasn't helped our cause either. |

YelloweWest: Someone just informed me of the conditions:
Nigerians are not allowed to visit Qatar on either tourist or visit visa (except for a relative/spouse sponsored by a Nigerian working in Qatar). The only way to reside in Qatar is only through company sponsorship (You must be offered employment by a Qatar based company). Nigerians CAN work if the Nigerian government employs them at the embassy. No excuses. I think i understand the restrictions placed on foreigners especially Nigerians from flooding that small oil rich country. I just Hope the Nigerian embassy's security isn't compromised when you have non Nigerians as key officers in the embassy. |

Is that what Jesus Christ taught you in your own Christianity? The Igbos owe Awolowo a huge debt of thanks. They just don't know it yet. They are blinded by sentiments and misinformation. tifany89: Shut up, this guy u r just so dull for my liking but I will try and school you. Fighting between troops is not the problem but killing/bombing of civilian populations. Violence against women and children. There is something called war crimes / crimes against humanity and dat was what the invading Nigerian sides did. When they saw they couldn't defeat the determined Biafran forces even with their lesser forces and ammunitions, the ever brutish Northern army had to resort to bombing of civilian populations, churches, markets, schools even red cross centers and shameful of all starvation. Anybody who supports this or see nothing wrong with it is sick and can engage in cold blooded murder. In terms of combatants, it's on record the Nigerian side suffered more casualties Let's assume for a moment that what you posted up there is factually correct (it isn't by the way), point out to me where the casualty figure of a war was already predetermined before the start of the war, in history of mankind? You guys are either dumb or naive like your leader Ojukwu. Oh I see, you thought war was going to be like the ones you play on your PlayStation or the ones you watch on movies where the people will be killed and you'll see them alive in some other movie a week later? Ehya... How old are you anyways? Is this probably the reason you guys are angling for another war? I feel so much pity for you. Really, I do. If you want to have a honest view of what happened during the civil war, pick up this book, "The Tragedy of Victory" by Alabi Isama. It's got lots of pictures, thousands of them. Hopefully If the words are too big for you to digest, you'll have pictures to fall back on. This thread is dull and dumb. Only unitelligent people will take this thread seriously. Your kind will want to come here and feel good about this after all you guys love playing the victim. |

It's pathetic to see people argue over things dey know nothing about. If u don't even know when the war started den it's obvious any other opinion u hold will be stupid, null and void. Respect yourself by keeping quiet Look at this one o. Lol. Probably born in the early 21st century, probably 2001, blabbing about things that happened in 1966/67 like he was there. Killing of surrendered civilians Can you point to the part of the picture that suggests that Nigerian soldiers destroyed Umuahia after they captured it? Or How did you know by just looking at the pictures that civilians that surrendered were killed? The same propaganda machine that people like Chinua Achebe employed during the to the detriment of the Igbo commoners, while the elite Igbos were feeding fat on the food and material aids given by red cross and caritas. |

raker300: Caritas priests (Catholics) helping the starving Biafra. They saw it as a war on Christianity Provide proof that they saw it as a war on Christianity. Playing the victim card again, I see. Most of you forget that Gowon, the military head of state at the time is Christian, ditto Awolowo whom most of you think starved Biafra to death, ditto the Yoruba generals that crushed the opposition, people like Obasanjo etc. They were all Christians, so I wonder How your small mind could imagine it was a religious war? |

You are quite aware he explored the peace option 'Aburi Accord' only for Gowon and his northern masters to do a 360 degree on wat could v averted loss of lives. You can't be killing my people like chickens and expert me to fold my arms. Why Britain supported those murderous lunatics is still something I can't fathom. Sad, really sad Lolest. When the coupists killed politicians of other ethnic groups and dragged the corpse of the Sardauna on the ground while their kinsmen celebrated and jubilated in the North, I guess you expected every other person to fold their arms meekly and be moping about abi? Kayceenaz: I concur to your all that you stated except your last sentence. What if there is no reincarnation? It would mean that the person involved in suicide is a coward. And what if there is reincarnation? Such a person would still remain a coward because he side-stepped life's critical exam. Either way, suicide is devoid of positivity. First, people who commit suicide aren't cowards. I'm sure you couldn't withstand a tiny bit of what they passed through. Let's be compassionate. Second, there definitely is reincarnation. Most cultures and religions including Judaism and early Christianity believe in reincarnation. There are certain portions of the Bible that show the reality of reincarnation. |
