victorazyvictor:I know there are a lot of teenagers, milenials and indomie generation on Nairaland, so here's your assignment: Go online or ask your parents for information and list all the Nigerian activists that have been and are still in Nigeria engaging the government on behalf of all Nigerians and check their ethnicity. After you've done that, cover your face in shame. |
Lilimax:Yeah. So sad. The way youths support internet fraud is so alarming. Hmmm... My tired is very tired. |
brexit:Some people just sit down and type rubbish. Iwilade was murdered in cold blood at the University of Ife now OAU for fighting cultism to a standstill. He is sighted in one of those pictures with Sowore protesting. Sowore was kidnapped by the military government when he was just a young chap, student union leader in University of Lagos and a poisonous substance was injected into his body and was thrown away into the bush to die. There are a lot of news about this guy and all you had to do was Google it. But no. |
early001: |
Respect. |
izombie:Lol. Kigali is one of the cleanest cities in the entire world. Your plastic shopping bags (polyester bags, nylon bags) are confiscated at the airport. |
Lilimax:Much more than what we can say for Nigerian youths. ![]() |
VoltageDivida:Thank you. Portharcourt is living on past glory. |
Vixlot:Oh my bad. It used to be solely federal government's sole responsibility. Wasn't aware that had changed. Still, I guess whatever was generated by private firms or state governments would be reverted to the national grid which eventually would be distributed to everyone. That's not good for individual states that want to generate and distribute their own power. I stand to be corrected though. |
Difficult to believe. |
MXD5050:Calabar is even cleaner than Portharcourt from what I've heard. |
Hats off to Rwanda. |
galadima77:Lol. First it's not about party. Power was probably better during the military era. Every successive Nigerian government has shown it lacks the will to deal with the near comatose electricity situation of Nigeria. Second, I'm not so sure what your state governor can do since electricity generation and distribution falls under the Federal government's purview. Don't ask me why though. |
AngelicBeing:That is true. Good works mitigate your Karma. The Bible says something like alms giving covering multitude of sins. Giving of alms to the poor is popular with the major religions in the world. Whatever good you do comes back to you. Same with evil deeds. It's a basic law of the Cosmos. No I'm not a Freemason. I'm an aspiring Yogi. But I like to think I'm also Catholic. Religion - Catholic Spiritual path - Yoga |
legitnow:How is a hotel a tourist attraction center? Op even mentioned a private library. ![]() I don't think I'd leave another state or another country to come look at those, so I won't classify those as tourist attraction centers. But that cave though...now you're talking. That's scary enough to warrant a visit. The lake and waterfall, cool. A repackaging will help drive tourists to those sites. |
gbosaa:

realestniggah:I hate to break it to you but beauty (a subjective quality) lies in the eyes of the beholder. |
True African beauty. I just simply love this talented young woman. |
gbosaa:Old man hunting for likes and shares. I hope common sense will locate you soon. Ethnic bigot calling someone else a bigot. That's a laugh. Go back and read your vitriolic and unprovoked posts. I hope you'll have the decency to cover your face in shame, if you've got any, granpa. |
AngelicBeing:Well I don't know about the Grail Message though. But I do know a little about Mystic Christianity and the Yogic path. |
gbosaa:You are an embarrassment to yourself. You have no message to pass to anyone. You're simply a bigot. Fold up already and go and sleep. |
AngelicBeing:You got it wrong bro. Most people don't understand the meaning of Karma. It is one of the Seven Laws governing the Cosmos also known as the law of Cause and Effect. Most often, Karmic debt is paid in another life time. Sometimes you see someone born deformed for no reason at all. Look to his past lives. None of those you mentioned will pay in this life. Most of us won't. I'll give you an example from the Bible. Elijah the prophet slaughtered the priests of Baal when they couldn't make a miracle happen. He put all of them to the sword. Centuries later as confirmed by the Scriptures and Jesus the Christ Himself, Elijah reincarnated as John the Baptist. Wait for it... Guess how John the Baptist died? He was beheaded with the sword. I hope you get my point now. Remember the great Master's occultic and mystical words to Peter? "He who lives by the sword will surely die by the sword". Karmic consequences are faced in another lifetime. |
AngelicBeing:I know, right? ![]() |
AngelicBeing:Precisely. |
AngelicBeing:It's not as simple as that. No Divine power has foisted anyone on anybody. He's just another human being raking up karmic debt just like the rest of humanity. Don't be surprised though that the people feeling the pinch of his bad economy the most were probably dictators in previous lifetimes. Of course this is just a presumption as nobody is given knowledge of their past lives, usually. |
When is it a crime to dance with naked girls or naked boys unless they are talking about indecent exposure though... |
chosengocap:You can only tell that to children who were born in the year 2015. Are you talking about the same Jonathan who locked the gates of the National Assembly against lawmakers thereby forcing them to climb the fence in an attempt to gain entry? Is it not the same Jonathan that refused Amaechi's plane and Mimiko's plane from landing in the airport? Maybe you aren't referring to the same Jonathan that dispatched soldiers to mop up Obasanjo's newly published books from the market. You think we have forgotten Jonathan who had the military waylay a convoy of APC delegates from the South while they were traveling in a convoy to attend their party's congress in Abuja. Same Jonathan denied the kidnapping of the Chibok girls. Same Jonathan allowed Boko Haram to fester after his late predecessor had decimated them, simply because he didn't have strong followership in the Northeast/ and when it seemed like he would lose the election because of that. he equipped the Nigerian military and ordered them to chase back the terrorists. Same Jonathan that rigged elections in Ekiti state shamelessly. Same Jonathan that empowered some thugs to waylay a sitting governor of Rivers state (Rotimi Amaechi) and attack him and hold him hostage in the governor's house in Portharcourt. the Jonathan whose wife slapped a sitting governor (Rotimi Amaechi) Is that the same Jonathan you are referring to, or another one Tell your story to the birds bro. Some of us have more than 5kb of memory in our brains. |
This man looks very old, very tired and very clueless. Why will he choose this stress over relaxing in his garden and playing with his grandkids? Surely it isn't for the love of ordinary Nigerians. |
EtherealAnn:contact her social media handle. I hope you get it. |
Sorry for your loss dear. life is so cheap in Nigeria. How much would the local government or the senator representing that area have constructed a better bridge there? |
