FamilyRe: Dangerous Things We Did As Kids(especially Ajekpakos) by elspycey(m): 11:49pm On Sep 08, 2014
Can't help but laugh reading thru this thread, reminiscing the good old dangerous days...so many dangerous things I did, will list as much as I can remember
1. I think I'm the only one who invented goat-drawn carriage in the whole of naija, did that by hitching a he-goat to a damaged tricycle with the rear tires still there. Mad fun!

2. Built many borris( ball bearing toy cars), we use to compete with those inside abandoned police station(barrack things)

3. Hunted so many wild animals from insects to cane rats, used to make weapons from catapult to bows and arrows, went crab hunting, fishing, swimming in murky waters, snake sight seeing( ridiculous but true) plunder sugarcane and garden eggs from farms, eating raw green pepper to show who's the boss..rotfl.

4. Sliding on slippery concrete floor with bare chest

5. Poured werepe(devil bean) on a female classmate locker cos of her smart mouth, come see film early morning the second day.

Slept in a uncompleted building for four days cos my old man embarrassed me in front on my secret lover.

Riding bicycles with no break down hill... My scars are my badges of honor.

Street soccer, inter-street fire cracker battle.
Divided the window blind into 2 with blade for no reason, that was the first time I'd ever lay fallow with enough tear gas in my eyes courtesy my parle... That man sef.. He use to chase me wearing tennis shoes carrying 4way adaptor coboco whenever I don do bad for house..

Too many to remember, I'm just glad my childhood was fun, we made fun happen way back but these days, the kids watch fun happen.

EducationRe: Intelligence Over Creativity. by elspycey(m): 7:27am On Sep 04, 2014
I believe intelligence goes a long way beyond knowing things, it encompasses doing things also, creativity is about doing things, you can't be creative without knowing what you're doing, now that's where intelligence comes in.... Summarily, I'd say, intelligence is the mother of creativity.

raumdeuter: Okafor's Law of Congodynamics
C 1 P = C ∞
It states that once a Congo has been shined once (C 1 ) , it can always be shined (C ∞ ) provided it was shined properly ( P) the previous times.(emphasis on properly). In other words, "....a woman once knacked, can be reknacked..."
. This is the most realistic equation ever.

My dad is a deity, a deputy God for that matter, you don't bond with an oracle and an oracle doesn't bond. Infact, we keep our distances from him. The only time we 'bond' is when he barges in our rooms and check for contrabands.

May God grant repose to the soul of the departed
And may God give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Its a very painful thing to lose a family member no matter how old or young, even reasonable animals mourn the death of their kin.

Y'all should remember, death is guaranteed, a debt we owe.
What will people say about you when you pass on?
So stop and think right before spewing hate comments on here.
My two cents.... E kaaro.

RomanceHow Do I Trust My Girl Again? by elspycey(op): 1:51pm On Dec 28, 2013
I really don't mean to bother you guys but I just need sincere opinion and advice from y'all.
I have this girl that I love so much, she is 25 and I am 27. We are really into each other or so it seems, though from the bottom of my heart, I love her truely.
Problem is there is this one guy that's putting a strain on our relationship, he'd send my gf romantic texts, claim she is his girlfriend on fb, call her almost all the time. My gf claims they are mere friends and nothing more but I am not just comfortable with this their so called 'friendship'. I had to call the guy telling him to stop sending romantic text to my gf the she is already spoken for, but it seems the guy is hell bent on ruining my relationship with. My gf will be here tomorrow to spend the rest of the year with me but I don't feel good about it already. What do u guys think is going on? What should I do? Sincere advice and comments pls.
