One of my friends was raped while she was still a virgin in the presence of her parents and her dad shot in the leg for refusing to watch. It took God's intervention to stop her from committing suicide, she actually attempted it. Ever since, my blood boils whenever I hear or read about all this rape matters, walahi I swear to God if I catch anybody raping, my judgement would be that they should be subjected to gang rape by a bunch of bulls with mad cow disease. This threads made memory seep thru my veins... Back in those days it was joy reading our textbooks, I remember we used to craft toys with our hands with raw materials from the environment... Nowadays I don't see kids do that anymore, they are glued to the screens. I'd say we stood up and made things happen while now they sit down and watch things happen. |
