It is clearly a murder case ,the children would have pushed open the refrigerator when it was getting too cold and dog would have barked its heart out, but I suspect they were killed before being kept in the refrigerator.

I have played with a freezer while growing up and it can’t be pushed open from inside easily especially if it was slammed shut....have you imagined the force used to open it from outside sometimes
