WizardOfNG:
Lol. No wahala. As your own protest, since you blame Yorubas for Kanu's own criminality and lawlessness, simply boycott Yorubaland and Yoruba people from today henceforth.
Yoruba man was not even in power when Kanu was arrested.
What about Simon Ekpa? Se na Yoruba people convict am too?

George Washington was also called a terrorist, so was Abdelkader El Djezairi of Algeria and Nelson Mandela, Jomo kenyatta of Kenya.

Back home even the great Odumegwu Ojukwu was once labeled a rebel , Awolowo was charged and convicted for treasonable felony by the Nigerian government.
Nnamdi Kanu today is a labeled a terrorist
Tompolo was once a brutal militant leader and an enemy of the country.

So wearing the terrorist toga for some of us is a honor
None of these people led an organization focused on indiscriminate killing of innocent people. Awo, Kenyatta and Mandela being compared with Nnamdi Kanu!
I like your jokes, very amusing.

I'll never be like kanu. I am a violent person and anyday I choose to agitate I'll do it violently. Dying for a good cause is honorable
This nice little quote could have been made by a diehard ISIS terrorist.

Nnamdi Kanu is delusional and that makes him even more dangerous. Ipob is just like boko with less money and weapons.

Soldiers no get shame again. Na market women dem dey fight
That is what you get when you turn a law breaker like Yerima to a hero.
I have a feeling this is just the beginning.
Terrorists are killing Nigerians all over the place and soldiers are in Ekiti fighting with market women!
Politics › Re: Tinubu interested in weakening parties than strengthening democracy - Peter Obi by ElSudani: 2:01pm On Nov 19, 2025
Since Trump mentioned Nigeria the spate of attacks has increased 100%.
I don't know what the terrorists are thinking but I feel they are determined to get US involved and basically turn Nigeria to another Syria.

Una mind go touch ground so?
Did you call on America for help when two soldiers were abducted killed and eaten by Ibo terrorists?
I am in support of anyone who is coming to destroy terrorists and terrorists only.

Are your tribes men not the ones opposing U.S to interfere?

Why are you crying for their help now?

Shey your tribe's men are all over internet lamenting that Igbos are the ones calling for U.S to come. undecided

In fact I don't want U.S to come soon. Maybe till next year August.

I want the Fulani bandits to enter deep in your states/region and deal with you mercilessly so that the betrayal and Bleep up in you will reduce small.

You hold all the sensitive key positions in the government/military yet sahel terrorists are dealing with you. They will still come online to brag how they are rulling and that Igbo man will not be President. grin grin
There's no difference between Fulani terrorists and Ibo terrorists.
They make life miserable for ordinary Nigerians and they all deserve to be eliminated.

That is how they mocked the Owo church killings before it was revealed that the majority of the victims were Ibos.

Ogbeni shut your mouth, where were this cameras when students were kidnapped recently? where are the so called law enforcement agencies when government officials are acting like Gods? Some of you need serious beating, because you are blinded by sentiments.
Who is being sentimental here? Your self inflicted frustration is even coming through from your post. You need your oppression and your oppressors, the events of the last week have shown that.

when did Nigeria police start making home video of people on high way ?

An officer ? my wife is a major, she rides with as u put it, "a concealed plate number"... she can identify herself with an ID and go away... dey av not probable cause for stopping Yerima since it a norm in Abuja to drive lyk that by level A and B cars.

The police are wrong... Yerima is just keeping his cool. I know someone that will escalate something like this and the police will be the one begging
Your wife is a major and she rides in the streets with concealed number plates, not within her barrack but outside the barrack!
Your wife is doing something wrong and illegal. That is not something to be proud of.
We are not in 1825, there are cameras everywhere today and it is helping law enforcement everywhere. What is unusual about that?
If another driver driving with no number plates should hit you and decide not to stop what are the chances that a witness will be able to get the car plate number and trace the culprit?

You're funny. He's not a civilian and he's likely driving an official car and plus he's currently a person of interest with target on his back. The number plates of vehicles in the convoy of 3 star generals are concealed unless the general is inside, wherein you will see the 3 stars engraved on the plates. You all are not informed on these things. Let the boy be.
He is not a civilian? Dressed in mufti and driving around in unmarked car? No 1, Yerima is not a 3 star general, is he? Did he get promoted in the last few days?
You all want to japa to "saner" countries while you are here vehemently defending insanity.

airsaylongcome:
Lol! I already know your political leanings. And I can bet that when Wike was dragging APC like a small gen you were against him. "I live abroad" or "I'm presently in a Western country" isn't a yardstick for being able to judge. I lived and studied abroad so don't come with that nonsense leg. And I tell you categorically, a military "youth", under command from his military superiors, can AND indeed stopped an ordinary minister. FACT. I've never liked Wike from his days at Obio-akpor when you definitely didn't know him.

About Obasanjo, and GEJ, I dragged them for all their failings. Your bat looting ₦1tr in the name of a coastal road that won't go past Ondo State will not be different.

You talked about the tables turning. But it already has, and you are the one crying. Same Wike used military to rig in your bat and I'm sure in the "I am currently in a Western country" you are squatting in, that's allowed as part of the military command.
Under what circumstances would this be legal?
Politics › Re: BREAKING: Lt Yerima Who Had An Altercation With Wike In A Fresh Saga With Police by ElSudani: 3:08pm On Nov 17, 2025

He's driving with a concealed number plate. At least 30% of the cars in the FCT drive with concealed number plates. Despite identifying himself, the police held him and insisted he calls his colleagues to come identify him. They didn't budge until he did so. That screams scapegoating and victimisation. The young man was only following orders. He has no dog in this fight. There's a targeted campaign from certain quarters to make Yerima a villain so they can feel good about themselves. Not going to happen!
It is wrong and illegal to drive with concealed number plates, simple.
Identifying yourself doesn't change the fact that you've committed an offense by driving without number plates. He should have been fined and the vehicle towed.
Laws are made to be obeyed by all.

The odds of the police somehow stopping Yerima for a stop and search is practically zero unless he is being trailed. Since when did the police start recording people at checkpoints? He's a person of interest at this point in time after being trailed yesterday and it's only wise that he takes precautions. Not a strand of hair must go missing from Lt. Yerima's head! Take your L on this matter and move on.
Someone driving without a number plate and you wonder why he was stopped?
Na wah o.

Why are the police filming him in the first place if they don't know him? this is just a poor set up
Let me be honest with you, Wike and corrupt Nigeria police can't do anything to that young soldier, unless you guys want Wike to disappear forever. Wike need to stop following that young soldier up and down. he's digging his own grave, just my own advice
Why was he driving without a number plate? If a kidnapper or a bank robber was doing the same would you be able to tell the difference between the officer and the robber without stopping them?
Politics › Re: Between Lt Yarima And Policemen In Abuja (Video) by ElSudani: 2:14pm On Nov 17, 2025
Covered number plates are preferred by criminals not officers.
What are these people taught in military school? That they are above the law?
Business › Re: Meet The Powerful Families Behind Nigeria’s Most Iconic Manufacturing Brands by ElSudani:
SmartPolician:
I watched a speech by Coscharis founder telling his audience not to borrow business money for starting their businesses. Instead, they should work hard to make money they would use to start their businesses.

You see, that's the danger of people of old generation advising people of new generation. He still has the mentality of those who go borrowing go sorrowing. He probably didn't know there are thousands of entrepreneurs who built multimillion-dollar companies after raising capital from angel investors and venture capitalists.
He gave you a solid advice. I can assure you that he will be right in more than 80 percent of the time. You can borrow money to expand an already thriving start up. Not a good idea to borrow money to start, this is because failure rate for new businesses is really high.
If you are sure of your idea put your own money there first.
Angel investors are not really angels at all, they care about their money and they won't invest in your idea if they are not sure it will work.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Senate Has Raised A Bill To Make The Armed Forces Subject To Civil Rule by ElSudani: 10:54am On Nov 16, 2025
Richtaiwo:
The Armed Forces of any nation, without exception, are subject to civil authority. However, this does not imply that every passer-by or minor official possesses the prerogative to issue directives to them. The only civilian public officer constitutionally empowered to do so is the President.

As to whether the relevant law remains in effect, the answer is unequivocal: yes, it is fully operative. No minister has the authority to countermand an order issued by a superior officer of the Armed Forces. Should a minister have concerns regarding the conduct of any military personnel, the proper and lawful channel available to him is to seek the attention of the President.
Ministers are appointed by the president to help him manage the country.
No serving officer for example can defy the order given by the US secretary of defense because he is deemed to be acting on behalf of the government. Same way Wike was acting on behalf of the government. You can only go to court to stop him, any other way is illegal.
Fashion › Re: The Best Dressed Ethnic Group In Nigeria Are The Yoruba — Artist Fave by ElSudani: 3:37pm On Nov 14, 2025
WizardOfNG:
I agree with the bolded. What keeps Yoruba a people others respect, to include those who hate us and attempt to demonize us daily, is our self-assured maturity.

We dont need to brag, join issues with others or get in the mud with those who enjoy living in it naturally.

It is the reason others have named us "progressive" and "sophisticated".

I do get LegendHero's perspective too if we look at how Nigeria is spiralling out of control with ethnic toxicity, tension, division and enmity.

This is not the period between sixties to the early nineties whereby Yorubas can ignore our detractors, no need to mention them, now very desperate and willing to use lies to warp the narrative about us.

I remwmber when Google was crude, long before AI, and it produce prompts for searches based on the most supplied input.

Back then, If you type "Yorubas are", and stop there, Google will supply the prompt dirty, lazy, ugly, unambitious etc based on the negative spamming of it's search engine by those who detest us.

I can undersand the need for young Yorubas today, because we are more proactive than our parents, to embrace frontal assault to ensure our perpetual haters dont warp and control the narrative against us as they did in the past.

Especially because we are in an age where Nigeria appears divided along ethno-religious lines beyond redemption.
LegendHero is one of the people I respect here and I do value his opinions.
