00FFT00: APC propaganda. The glorified airfield in Ikeja is a national shame. Let's not even imagine the monumental fraud commited in delivering that glorified pig pen.
Some of you sit inside your warped imagination and talk about world class while having not stepped a foot outside Nigeria.
No Nigeria airport qualifies to be classified as such. If it is not bad news about Nigeria then it is a propaganda? If you ever use the MMA you will know there's a huge improvement. Nigeria is getting better, even the wilfully blind will be forced to see it eventually. |
Politics › Re: Ghana Currency Achieves Single Digit Value Against The Dollar by ElSudani: 2:43pm On May 31, 2025 |
guobe: Exactly bro.its absolutely madness to exchange 1 dollar for 1,600 naira. It is not, the Ghanian currency does not reflect the strength of their economy. They are doing what Nigeria did for many years. The reason we are not like South Korea or Indonesia today. Tinubu broke that jinx and with time the economy will come back to life and nobody will even talk about the exchange rate against the dollar. |

A lot of bloodshed could have been averted if the Deputy prime minister had been sworn in. The history of Nigeria could have been different. No reprisal coup No Unitary government No civil war No decades of military rule No Murtala and Dimka No OBJ No Abacha No option A4 Maradona No June 12 No Ipob and Biafra separatists Etc. People in power should always be conscious of the long term effects of their actions. |

Not true, senseless lie and a blatant exaggeration. None of the so called critics have been able to explain to us what they would have done differently given the same situation Tinubu inherited. All they do is use hyperbolic words, scare mongering and paint doomsday scenarios that exist only in their heads. |

gidgiddy: Let's hear word. Northern troops stayed many years on Yoruba soil ensuring that one Northerner or the other kept ruling Nigeria, from Gowon to Murtala Mohammed to Buhari to IBB.
Yoruba land was already overrun by Northerners long before Ojukwu, and it stayed overrun long after that. Agreed, but we should have substituted that for Biafra occupation? Carve Lagos out of Yorubaland and appoint a Biafran sole administrator? I need answers o. I doubt Gbarebo will even try this abomination. |

SarkinYarki: You really want to compare Korea to Nigeria?
South Korea GDP per Capita is 34 thousand dollars
Nigeria GDP per Capita is a miserly 800 dollars under Tinubu
Korea GDP 1.8 trillion dollars
Nigeria GDP 180 billion dollars
South Korea Inflation 2.1 %
Nigeria inflation 34%
South Korea poverty rate 14%
Nigeria poverty- rate 52%
Korean minimum wage : 1.9m Naira
Nigeria minimum wage : 70k Naira Korean Electricity: 144 Giga Watts
Nigeria Electricity: 3800 Mega Watts
There is nothing to compare here please Exactly my point, given what you mentioned above don't you think the Nigerian currency should be performing even worse? By the way, Tinubu has been president for only two years, you cannot hold him responsible for the level of our GDP against Korea. This is exactly what he is trying to change, to make Nigeria more productive. |

Politics › Re: Cameroon English Speaking Areas Made A Mistake In The 1960 Referendum??? by ElSudani: 1:51pm On May 25, 2025 |
KnowAll: No they had a referendum. In the 1950’s all those English speaking areas were part of the Eastern Region in Nigeria. They had representatives in the Eastern house of Assembly. But the fear of the dominance of the Igbo made them sign up with French Cameroon thinking they would have a leverage in Cameroon than in Nigeria. The French Cameroonians promise them federalism. But by 1971 they abolish Federalism for Unitarianism hence their problems today.
If they could have waited till 1966 when states where created out of the eastern region they would have their states and today they would have be benefiting from the 13% derivatives giving to oil producing states. Unfortunately all money made from oil as they are now a Unitary country goes to the central government who spends most of that funds in the French areas to the detriment of the English Speaking areas.
They have themselves to blame. You are absolutely right. Their main reason right or wrong was the fear of being subjugated by Igbo. The "Cameroons" in NCNC was about them. |
