This story isn't completely true.

What actually happened was that, a man in the area whose house was also burnt to ashes was rearing pigs, and the pigs are left uncage and even this has caused issue btw the man and one neighbor before.

To cut the long story short, the pig went and gave birth in the compound of the Fulani (probably as Muslims that hate pig, the Fulani killed all the piglet and the mother). Yesterday, the Fulani boys came near to the man's house (whose pigs were killed) to get Mango and the man confronted them which leads to a bigger confrontation and as Fulani mentality of I can do anything, they brought out their weapons and the man rushed into his house and brought out his gun, which later resulted to the death of one of the Fulani.

So, this morning people wake up to see the Fulani has mobilized themselves to attack the man but unfortunately the man has left with his family. So, the Fulani set his house on fire but as neighbors see that the fire can spread to their own houses they decided to quench the fire which didn't sit well with the Fulani, so they came back and started burning innocent people's house and properties and attacked innocent people too.

When police came, they even attacked police too to the extent of collecting police gun which the security didn't allow and try to prevent and later leads to more casualty.

People in the area are afraid of a possible come back attack by the Fulani which has made some people relocating their families but men are still on ground in case anything goes.

Only in an animal farm would this happen. Attack innocent people and also attack police.
