Benzema only had 132 playing minutes more than Suarez. If you removed the one penalty Suarez scored, they would both end in 15 Laliga goals. Suarez also take free kicks. He plays in a stronger team.

He gets substituted every time since he gets fatigued deep into matches. That's the reason for the 132 minutes played over Suarez.
How many free kick did Suarez score?

Liverpool must have been very strong for Suarez to have won an European golden shoe with 31 league goals

Everybody else is at best on par. Benzema is like Rooney...He's not just a striker, he's heavily involved in the build up play as well. This guy has notched up a minimum of 10 assists a season since 2012.

I dont really want to start extolling the virtues of Benz this morning, cos I'm at work. But daring to mention Aubameyang and Benz in the same sentence is a mortal sin.

But against strong opposition he is one man less from his team. That's short one. If you doubt me, go back and check his record against big oppositions apart from Chelsea. May be Terry and co couldn't come with his pace. He really punished Chelsea. But against the other big teams, he was shyte.

15 goals in 12 matches sounds nice.

I can see you still think of him in terms of his United days, but he's improved as at last session season and is quite good, especially in a team playing 'good football'.

I think he would have helped united this season, with all those crucial chances wasted with wayward finishing and lack of presence in the box.

Drogba has a better ball control than Chicha. Drogba can take a long ball on his chest and bring it down to his foot before sloting in. Drogba has a very strong aerial ability. He doesn't need a free header to scorer from a set piece. Drogba also sometimes drifted to the left and involved in build up when his team is defending.

Chicharito on the other hand isolates himself even when his team is under pressure for a long term. This is why when you start him in a strong match, he might be a short one. Like the team playing with 10 men. Chicha relies on speed and quickness to finish off a chance when his team is pressing.

In a nutshell, Drogba and Chicha are not really the same.

Of course Drogba is a better striker without doubts.

Don't judge by the goals alone.
His movements created spaces and pressure on the defenders in the box which of course helped because Madrid are very often static in attack.
And he was much improved last season and got more involved in the teams play.
He even put in a few crosses.
For example he scored two long range shots last season which he never did at united.

He's better than he was when he first came to United, when he was a total 18 yard box player.

Why is United looking for Ronaldo

I'm doubtful he can keep up with the physical football in England in his present state.
He doesn't even run so much anymore at Madrid.

Just look at the precision of Suarez, his work ethic and determination.
Look at his goals.
He makes those difficult goals look easy, for example his goal against Madrid at the Bernabeu last season, or his volleys this season.
Suarez scored 49 goals for Ajax in a single season before leaving for Liverpool.



Martial to Lukaku?
Lukaku is certainly better at the moment, but if Martial keeps improving, I'm certain Lukaku won't be fit to lace his boots in a few years.
With that technical ability and power, he could go places.

Benz gets replaced in many games because he fizzles out unlike the likes of Suarez, Drogba who drag their teams to the very last minute.

There has always been exceptional strikers with different characteristics.
Drogba is a modern striker, but he can't play so much with the ball, but he was deadly nonetheless.

Can you now tell me how Chicha fetched Madrid points with a run of games? Look at the 6 games after Athletic and Celta games, he went blank. Not only did he went blank in scoring, he was annoynimous in most of the time. He also missed scoring an almost empty net at least twice. I think against Valencia.

Lastly, Madrid struggled because of long term injury to Pepe which distorted the Centre defence pairing with Ramos. Verane inexperience exposed Madrid.

Your statistics didn't include games in early April and even march I think. That was even the periods I was talking about.
I watched almost all Madrid's game last season, and I'm not speaking just by stats alone.
They don't always reveal all the truth.
Even with what you posted, Madrid won all games he started. This guy stretches opposition defense, thereby creating openings.

The Fact is Madrid's attack dies off once benzema fizzles out of the match.
It then becomes almost impossible to break down a defense.
A striker who doesn't even fight for the ball.
