First comment quoting me accused me, in essence , of arguing for an Igbo agenda.

Even economic discussions turn into tribal war. Crime pages too...tribal war.
At the end, it isn't worth having discussions at all here.

Many African countries have removed subsidies for decades but they're still nothing to write home about.
We rather have a problem with corruption and lack of resourcefulness by our leaders.

Remove subsidies in Nigeria and all you get is reduced consumption of commodity because they can't even afford it.

all parties are the same in Nigeria.
Normally, parties should have ideologies. For example PDP believes in subsidy, APC doesn't or One believes in heavy taxation etc.
With this in mind, once you switch, everyone already has an idea what you believe in.
The system we have here makes it sensible to switch parties like handkerchiefs because they are all the same anyway, why stay in the losing party?

I have a civic 08 that does like 200km on a full tank inside town. I know some people with corollas that do similar mileages too.
I replaced my fuel pump trying to solve the issue but to no avail.

I'm just advising you not to replace parts unnecessarily. You can try sha.

I have this Corolla 2010, very sharp one. But it’s manual transmission. I’ve tried selling it for a while now, but I’m not getting good offers. I know that most people are after automatic transmission, so I’m looking at converting to automatic, with the same mechanic who did mine for an older Corolla model.
The previous model, which I’m currently using doesn’t give me problems, but most people don’t like cars that have been modified… for example converting right to left steering is a no no for some people.

Since I’m not getting good offers for the manual I want to change to automatic transmission and also changing the ECU.

Do I need to state this process when selling the car, or I should just keep it to myself and have the buyer detect anything for himself?

I doubt you can do it to 100% perfection. It's better to disclose lest you have law enforcement on your a$s when things go south.
And I hope you know you can't sell manual for the price of automatic, so consider reducing price for quicker sales.

The 2.4L 4 cyl in camry's are not very good and often short oil.

Four cylinder engines ain't poor. Being poor depends on the engine size. 1.1,1.2,1.4,1.6,1.8 till 2.7 litres are mostly 4 cylinders, but don't function the same way.
This Camry shown here has its 2.4 litres and is not bad in speed and performance for a modest human being.

In fact, if a speed demon handles it, even a V6 won't catch up. So soundness of engine and driver's experience also count in driving.

If fuelling ain't a problem for him, he should get the Camry or Lexus.

I am not talking about speed but reliability.
The Camry 4cyl has been reported to have certain issues like shorting of oil etc.
