please forgive my ignorance, going by this post, which OS is the way forward for a student?

I need a durable(in terms of not crashing under heavy use/software updates),reliable(rich in ''useful'',not by having more, and ''genuine'' apps),file sharing and downloads(all file formats). Thank you.
let me ask, what is your budget?

ITbomb:
With android you can do more with your documents and video.
If you download a book from Internet with some numbers as file name, you can change that file name to something you can remember just like you do on desktop, it is almost impossible in Lumia.
There are certain videos format that cannot play on Lumia and your choice of video players are very limited, which means that if the inbuilt Lumia video player cannot play it then there is nothing you can do about it.
If you are the type that works on both laptop and phone, you should know that Android is the best in terms of establishing links and exchanging files either thru bluetooth or USB. When you plug in the USB, your files would be ready in less than 10 secs, not waiting for sync and dialog boxes.
Numerous low data charges options available for student life.
Since most of your friends would likely be using Android, collecting materials, books and educational softwares would be easier than being the odd man out.

Android is the best for students. Get a good android with good ram and battery, not all these N5 android around
Lol..
I'm tired of people who have never used a windows phone giving incorrect opinions about them. angry

Who told you you can't rename files on windows phone?
Who said you can't watch any video format with them? I watch all movies on my phone and there has only been one single video that I've encountered any issues with!
No or maybe only few Android too can play all file formats without apps.
My phone pops up on the PC instantly after a USB connection.

Did you know WPs now features an official file manager?

The only reason I could pick up an Android right now is the more apps selection.

I mean my Lumia 520 surprises me with its fluidity after over a year and several heavy updates.

Make sure you know what's happening with windows phones before criticizing them.

Mind you, windows mobile and windowsphone are not the same OS.

In the picture below, the first is the windows mobile while the 2nd is the windowsphone.
Wtf... Your attached image is crap.

All those features are available on windows phone these days.
Just skip the thread if you aren't sure of your facts.

what was that man saying? He wasn't making sense to me at all. huh

So if one scores let's say 250, the score they will release will be the standard deviation of 250? grin IS this what he was saying?
No... He meant the marks will be scaled at a particular ratio they determine.

Can you imagine?
Do you believe SAT is valid for five years?

This is an exam for a country with probably the highest standards in the world here, yet they don't let their children waste their lives writing exams several times unnecessarily.

jamb has totally turned this into a money making venture.

just calculate 1,500,000 * 6000.

This is how much JAMB makes every year.

350 is only difficult because JAMB doesn't give true scores.

They say they put graphs to determine marks.

how do you know this? cambridge did not come out and deny what he tendered. Did they?
Why should they? It is left for the Country and it's citizens to press their candidate for it.

Considering the energy APC expends on denying even the subtlest of propagandas, every discerning person knows they would have gladly brought home proof from UK, shoving it into our faces. Ha here is 'His holiness' General MB's certificate. In fact Tinubu would have presented it during a rally.

I think most have pardoned him anyways until this brainwashed fella brought up this hogwash of a lopsided article.

I don't care if he gets disqualified or not, but I just want APC and it's fans to know that not everyone is gullible.

what is rule of law? does it exist in Nigeria? your president is the number one offended of the constitution and rule of law. Buhari's certificate issue should be a shame to the people tallking about it. I can imagine the buffon that cameup with this silly propaganda and he literally just lit a match stick opn a small dead grass and asked Nigerians to pour petrol on it.
I for one would never believe that Buhari did not attend college. Even if he did not, he has military educational qualifications that are equivalent and higher than an SSCE. He also came on Tv to address the issue of his certificate. He released a copy of his results. What else do you Nigerians want?
He released a statement of result, but never contacted the ever willing Cambridge for the confirmation.

Close your eyes and take a breath and ask yourself how you and APC would have responded if this happened to GEJ!

The fact WAEC confirmed it; IS THAT NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU? Why don't you people face the relevant issue? Is this not the same man that has ruled this nation previously? Is he not the one that contested for the same position the last time here?

Please permit me to ask, DO YOU HAVE A JOB YOU ARE HAPPY WITH? DO ALL YOUR BROTHER'S AND SISTERS (GRADUATES OH) HAVE JOBS? DO YOU HAVE LIGHT AS I SPEAK? NOT GEN OH! ARE YOU PEOPLE NOT TIRED OF SUFFERING.
My problem with Nigerians is lack of objectivity.
If we don't teach this leaders how to be truthful, do you think any political party can save us?
The problem is not exactly our leaders, it's us.

I mean which nation would have it's youth chanting gibberish that they would vote for one with even a NEPA bill?
What the APC is offering, 'change' are just mere promises that we have been fed over and over again by past leaders.

Imagine people promising to curb corruption not even being able to produce a stunning truthful candidate!

For the records, only his statement of result was released.
That of course is far from authentic proof.
Cambridge threw the door open for him to come forward for official clarification, but they (APC) never showed up!

What happened to rejecting a liar and voting for another credible candidate eg Fasola
No! Nigerians are just gullible people who fall for the easiest propagandas and deceit in the world!

The foreign media is only playing a supplementary role. and it would've been good if they remain neutral.
