Good day @bellong and other Ogas in the house. A false information was posted since last year on Nairaland which has someone's name and the person in question is about to apply for visa. Pls my question is how to get such a thread pulled down as there are no evidences whatsoever to back the claims of the person. But this is likely to dent such person's name online unjustly. Kindly advice what steps the person can take. I actually suggested if any moderator can be contacted to help close or ban the thread or better still get any Nairaland admin to help pull the post or thread down totally to avoid Troubles with NJL with this current wahala of DIBP. Pls kindly help anyone who has any lead as how this can be resolved asap. Thanks

Some assessing body don't require English for their assessment. But you will need to write it, you will need it when you are lodging ur EOI (expression of interest)

Was it strictly via the online portal or did you have to go to the school yourself? How long did the delivery take? Please help - thank you.

I applied via school portal when I was doing my assessment with VETASSESS, paid and it was sent to Melbourne. Normally it take 14 to 21days to be delivered to Australia. The live chat on the UNN website is very active. You can always ask questions incase of anything. The agents are well trained and respectful

I graduated from UNN and also got my Transcript there for assessment with VETASSESS. Even after paying the huge sums, they don't give student's copy of transcript (though I never requested for one) . I will advice you to chat them on the website, their live chat is very active. Explain to the respondent what you need and why you need it. I wish you luck

Trust is that your claim and job description is totally different from an Agricultural Scientist. It's only a trick what you get to see as the JD of agricultural scientist on their anzcosearch site.

Before you can qualify for an Agricultural Scientist, you must be a graduate of Crop Science or Animal Science.

Are the applications of the same skill?
Are the applications of different documentation back up?

We (my sis and I ) finally got a positive assessment from EA for chemical engineer dis morning after 1month and 10days and 28working days.

Don't know if calling them worked but it was assigned shortly after I contacted them on the 26th day. After 24hrs, we were asked to provide employment .

I called the hotel this morning, the lady I spoke with said it's part of their terms and conditions that if one didn't cancel it some amount would be deducted.. As I went further she said I can call on Monday to speak with their MD if he can assist. .. Honestly, am feeling so bad right now. ��

You should have cancelled your hotel reservation when you didn't get visa or before cancellation deadline. Having failed to do that, you should have cancelled it the day your account was debited.

Read the conditions attached to your reservation but generally, when a guest does not turn up, some hotel will charge for the first night only. But some will argue that they kept your room unoccupied for the period. However, you don't lose anything by asking the hotel for the refund of charges in excess of one night.

Good morning sirs and Mas. I was told one can reschedule an appointment, I have been trying to do so, now the message that pops up says canceling this appointment will lead to paying another MVR fees.

Note : I have never canceled or rescheduled before.
Pls what's the way out. The reasons I want reschedule is cos my departure date is just a day after the interview. Though I have subsequent conference in May. But the conference I filled in my DS-160 form before I booked the appointment seems too close to the interview date.
