ICAN doesn't have a fixed pass/failure rate! It's performance based, with 50% set as pass mark for each paper. That is true but maybe the difficulty level of ICAN makes failure common. |

Family › Re: TWO Years In Marriage!!! The Feeling, The Realization And Surprise. by Emeka71(m): 2:27pm On Oct 19, 2014 |
mk3jax: Well I have a similar issue with my wife. She was miss perfect agreeing to everything I want when she was looking for marriage and after marriage, her real self started to manifest. First it was constant complain about my family for no reason, then she graduated to wanting to control my life and determine who I am to give money or not and where I can and cannot go. She complains about everything and never appreciating anything I do. I provide all the financial need of the house 100% yet she want me to take care of her parent and siblings(both married and single ones) like i am their father and every time I refuse to send them money it is quarrel. She also expect me to praise her for almost everything she does like I demand same praise for putting her under a roof, paying all the bills, feeding her and our child and making her as comfortable as possible. She bitches about everything I do making me feel like i am a child that doesn't have a sense of making my own decision despite being very successful in my career and handling lots of real life responsibilities that she can never imagine doing. After the birth of our child, she turned to something else which in turn made me to make up my mind that I will never have a second child. She has time to watch all her tv programs to make herself happy but as soon as I pick my remote to play a game despite working from morning to night while she sits at home, she complains and I have over time disregarded her complains and do what I want to do to make myself happy. I have just one life to live and being married to someone doesn't gives them a control over my life and if you don't want to stay married to me again, then get the fu.c.k out of my life and go take care of yourself. I almost divorced her sometime ago but just decided to calm down. I hope we do not separate because of my love for our child but if we have to, then so be it because I will not live a life of a prisoner because of a child. if that be the case; she has a serious problem. |

vexy06: The students who paid over N300, 000 for the one year programme lamented that over 70 per cent of them failed the examination, that is a prerequisite for them to be called to Bar. The students blamed their failure on the Director General of Nigerian Law School, Olarenwaju Adesola Onadeko. They claimed that Onadeko wants to destroy their career by failing them. The students called for a review of the examination as well as their results. Some of the students who sent text messages and email to PM News explained that some lecturers also want the results to be reviewed. “Save Law School Students: The DG Olarenwaju Onadeko has come to destroy the future of over 70 per cent of students who wrote exams in August and has run to the United Kingdom to seek solace,” a text message read. http://www.360topgist.com/2014/10/mass-failure-at-nigerian-law-school-as.html This is not mass failure in fact is small; what about ICAN that fails over 95% of the candidates? |

Kossyne: That's very thoughtful of you, just like the proverbial "killing two birds with a stone". Consolildation is always a big challenge for candidates and it appears more technical than the Acct Ratios which is more of cramming formulae and churning out calculatings, though the analysis part can be quite tricky but certainly not on par with the technicality of consolidation.
For the standards, scenario questions(which doesn't involve Prep of Fin Statements) which involves two or more standards can be asked. Its all good sha. God strong pass them!! and don't forget that there is no financial ratio without current ratio, quick-ratio and inventory ratio. also, don't you ever neglect cash budget (MA). Foreign Affairs › Re: Scotland Scottish Referendum: Voters To Reject Independence - BBC by Emeka71(m): 12:38am On Sep 20, 2014 |
tunwumi: BBC One: Results programme Scotland will vote to stay in the United Kingdom after rejecting independence, the BBC has predicted.
With 26 out of the country's 32 council areas having declared after Thursday's vote, the "No" side has a 54% of the vote, with the "Yes" campaign on 46%.
By 05:15 BST (06:15 GMT), the "No" campaign had more than 1,397,000 votes, with "Yes" on just over 1,176,000.
A total of 1,852,828 votes is needed for victory. The vote is the culmination of a two-year campaign.
The BBC is predicting on the basis of votes declared so far by Scotland's local authorities the "No" side will win the referendum with 55% of the vote while "Yes" will secure 45% of the vote.
This margin of victory is some three points greater than that anticipated by the final opinion polls.
Media caption Scotland will vote to stay in the United Kingdom after rejecting independence, the BBC has predicted.
Scottish National Party leader Alex Salmond is en route to Edinburgh Glasgow, Scotland's largest council area and the third largest city in Britain, voted in favour of independence by 194,779 to 169,347, with Dundee, West Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire also voting "Yes".
But Aberdeen City voted "No" by a margin of more than 20,000 votes, while there have also been big wins for the pro-UK campaign in many other areas.
Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond, who led the pro-independence "Yes" campaign, is expected to make a statement from his official residence at Bute House in Edinburgh at 10:00 BST (11:00 GMT).
Media caption Nicola Sturgeon says she is "deeply disappointed" In his first public comment since the results started coming in, Mr Salmond tweeted: "Well done to Glasgow, our Commonwealth city, and to the people of Scotland for such incredible support."
Prime Minister David Cameron said: "I've spoken to Alistair Darling (head of the pro-UK Better Together campaign) - and congratulated him on a well-fought campaign."
Mr Cameron is expected to respond to Scotland's decision in a live televised address following the final result.
Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon told the BBC the projected result was "a deep personal and political disappointment" but said "the country has been changed forever".
Ms Sturgeon said she would work with "anyone in any way" to secure more powers for Scotland.
Source: http://m.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-29270441 Thank God the people of Scotland had sense; what do they want independence for. united Kingdom we stand; divided we fall; the earlier they recognize this fact; the better. Thank God for answering My prayers this morning. I know that God will surely answer My second prayer that as many that are clamouring for More states in Nigeria, will not work because Nigeria will be 36 states + FCT all those who want creation of more states out of the existing ones; father let then repent; but if they don't want to turn a new leaf, LORD let them be quarrantined. |
