Good day guys,

It has been so busy for me, and sorry for the delayed updates.

Today, i will be writing on THINGS YOU DNT DO/ THINGS YOU SHOULD DO, AND THINS YOU ARE GOING TO NOTICE IN IVORY COAST.

Yes, i know we are in west Africa continent, and that means those countries that made up of this countries has similar life styles.... But for one country is totally different from other west Africa countries.

And, this country am talking about is "IVORY COAST"

Firstly, let me use 5 seconds to clap for this country grin, because of been there and i know what i saw.

Your first time in this country is "cultural shock" and also the main reason it was was called " AFRICA PARIS" from the first sight at their border u will start seeing why you dnt just called it " west Africa country " let me use this chance to say this.... The first visitors who went to into ivory coast who are migrating to France had to stop their journey because what they saw in that country was different from what they saw in any west Africa countries like Ghana and the rest. ( i told one of my female friend who also want to travel there about this)

OK.... Let start, if u are looking for any citizens who love their country with passion is ivory coast. The only country have seen that have the country flags hanging around their parlours, rooms and even outside their houses. grin

I bet u you! You won't find this in Nigeria and other west Africa country may be Senegal came close with this...., and the only country in west africa where u are addressed as bebe ' ( babe) grin

Now let me talk about cultural shocks.... You dont greet an ivorian people by prostrating like the ways of the Yoruba's ( respect to the Yoruba's, nothing personal just saying what i notice) cheesy if u greet like that you will be seen as strange person... I tried that and regretted it grin ( i told my female friend about this too) cheesy greeting is good, but abeg no body is beging you to greet them ooooo grin

Please when u are in ivory coast.... just see things and mind your business. Dont go there and see a girl of 15 at some odd places at night and ask her what is she doing over there, if you do like u are in Nigeria... You will be so humbled, and you start having that moment u start having the feelings of a " gossipers" cheesy. ( mind your business )

Let me use this to correct you people, Nigerians are fond of reporting some of their friends to any body they care too. But please in God name dont try that there.... If u do it will bounce back too u cheesy they believe why must u wash your friend dirty lifestyle out side cheesy

No body get your time........ life there is simple, and anything u wear or have is for u and your family glory nothing concerns Ivorians. grin if am lying check the guys their women are dating, some of those guys wear " rubber sanders" grin

You go almost cry, because all the clothes u wear and shoes to impress is waste ( am not saying u should not dress well ooo........ looking good is the first thing but am telling u that those women love whom they want to love ) cheesy

Am out of here.... Stayed tunned for continuation. cool cheesy

GOOD TO BE HERE GUYS,

Like i said on my last 2 updates.... Am here to update on the DAYS OF THE WEEK in "ivory coast " and i remember i stopped at WEDNESDAY.

So lets go,

THURSDAY - is a day for people to look at their gain and losses through out from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.... ( please dnt count Friday and Saturday ) grin.

Thursday is a "review day" grin forget about Friday.... to them Thursday is FRIDAY. They all know friday is a waste, because by Friday a business man can open by 8 am, and by 12noon u won't find him in his shop.

So, let talk about the real days in ivory coast "FRIDAY and SATURDAY " grin ( SUNDAYS, are holy days no need to add am, i know won get issue with my creator) grin

FRIDAY'S - make i finish my coke, am coming..... OK let start!

Listen guys, if them born u well.... On Friday make u waka with your house rent or your Oga money for pocket they pass one place called yopougan for " Abidjan " grin that is their SIN CITY.

Guys, starting from that morning... You will start seeing the reason why ivory coast is the FUN CITY in Africa ( am not here to argue with any one ooo... Am just speaking out of my own experience) grin , and is the planing days in ivory coast while SATURDAY is the execution days cheesy ( you know what i mean) grin

And i notice that every Friday networks are always busy... because of calls. ( am speaking on my own experience, i dnt know if it has changed now) and if u are browsing on Friday night u go almost cry grin

Guys... Friday is usually filled with traffics, because people moving and planing against Saturday ( Saturdays has cursed a lot in that country) the best time to see Ivorian beauty.

Let me give u guys an expo

Listen, 99.9 women in "ivory coast" goes out on Friday. If you want to find real Ivorians is on friday ( am not saying u should toast all the women on friday oooo ) grin . real Ivorian ladies are few, Forget about those "Burkina Faso and mali" women, they just want to belong..... real Ivorian ladies dnt go out. Infact according to the " gurus" i met, they told me Ivorian ladies dont enter the rain no matter what is at stake grin even does that are in the village don't go to " farm" grin

If you want too get married to Ivorian ladies. Please......... Is either u get married in "ivory coast " or u make money and bring her to Nigeria. ( no go make another woman daughter suffer for Nigeria oooo) grin

Johnbull and Mr IBU, una they hear me..... No go allow ivorian ladies carry una go oooo grin

SATURDAY - i believe every one know this special day in "ivory coast" like what a guy said on this thread said " Op, i know you can write 100 pages on SAMEDI SUA " grin

When a particular day make u sleep in the morning and afternoon, just too get ready for night ( then u know is not a child play)

Obinna, if u flex from Monday to Friday in ivory coast most especially in Abidjan, and u no flex on Saturdays..... tell me wating you gain? grin that is how serious it is.

Only on Saturday i discovered ivorian has club for teenagers grin believe me have seen it not just ones. I was thinking maybe is just for birthday but when i saw the way girls of 15 to 18 are wearing..... My tongue run enter my mouth. i did not believe what i saw until now, but when i remember i had seen it like 2 to 3 times, then i know it must have been their culture ( una wey like small girls, make una no near there ooo..... If not na prison una go sleep. That place is not Nigeria) respect ya self! grin

Please am not talking to anybody am just narrating the signs and wonders my eyes saw in " ivory coast " since i went to "ivory coast" my mentality has really changed, believe me, exposure is good because. it's helps u to mind ur business and respect people choice of life grin

Starting from Friday night when u are going home and seeing lights everywhere and how happy this people are, and knowing tomorrow is " SAMEDI SUA" is everything to me grin

If u see any Nigerian in ivory coast that has not made it..... check his life style in " ivory coast " grin beacuse when u are there your mentality will just change and all u want to live for is comfortable life and been happy... It takes a determined mind to work extra hard again to make it more in life, because when u are there..... this popular saying in Nigeria goes to ur head " life is not hard as we see it here " please any Yoruba guy can translate it in "YORUBA"

They may not have money like Nigeria as a country.... But their government gave them good standard of living. if u want to make more money then u need to work more harder because some times u dnt see any reason to work. Is just that Nigerians are naturally hard working people, and we all want to buy those luxurious cars and mansion same time grin but over there is just same pattern of houses

i thank God, atleast have seen and understand life better now .......

So guys... See ya later for more updates

Sorry to derail... But can every reader here see that when the soil is green and healthy, the plant will grow easily and beautifully.

This is a young man, less than a year in ivory Coast, already got a job such that he can bring his brother along too. He must be comfortable to do that.

How many Nigerians youths are 'working', talk less being 'comfortable'.

The leaders have decayed the country, there is nothing else to scrape from even hence the reason youths have turned to crime and ritualism.

Indeed.... There was a country.

HELLO GUYS,

Am sorry is not yet time to update from where i stop, but i just want to drop the latest gist, that may lift some people believe or hope...... As they are in the process of making life decision to move to "ivory coast "

Lets start guys .....

God have so many ways he uses to help his children. i remember last year, before even thinking of updating on my journey too " ivory coast " i went to get a GOTV decoder at their office close to where i live.... And it was raining very heavily and no sign of "Keke napep" ( tricycle) then suddenly, i saw one guy who just parked his tricycle, and is isreal by name.

He was not taken any passenger because of the heavy rain. But out of the way he saw me carry that "decoder " he decided to help out for the rain not too get inside it.

Then we decide to wait inside tricycle for the rain too stop a little bit before we move. Then we started discussing, he start narrating how life has been difficult for him and how he struggle to survived.

Due to how he has been so good to me and also an helper... I told him how i went to ivory coast and how God really helped me.... Then the next thing he asked me was " bros abeg, i fit go back with you" that made me and him laughing through out, while he was driving.... , then i told him he should get his money ready but i may not move with him because i dnt know if i will be going back to ivory coast or not, but he should get ready just incase i am not going back.. for him to move, and not for me to delay him.

We discuss alot while he took me back to my place, and i was about to pay him for bringing me home, but he refused to take any money from me, and telling me " am just his life saver after God for opening his eyes " grin then, we both laughed, and he drove away after we had exchange numbers.

Fast forward , the next day he called me and from that day we have been good friends, and any time we met he always want to know more about ivory coast because he was determined to move if not for shortage of funds...

But he later told his elder brother about his plans and journey.... And the replied he got from his elder brother is for him to wait, while his elder brother go and open the way in ivory coast cheesy ( dis look cheating to me, but is not my business and every family has principles), then he told me he gave all the money to his brother to make the journey and open ways for him and others.... Because according to his elder brother " you u are too young for such journey " this is what his elder brother told him cheesy.

Fast forward early this year, infact just a month before this " corona lockdown " my guy elder brother don japa to ivory coast grin. ( meaning he has ran/ traveled to ivory coast. For non Nigerians who dnt understand) cheesy

Just this saturday, my guy came into my place ..... To tell me that his elder brother "is doing fine in ivory coast " and also he got a job... the amount he was receiving is not that big though but is much better than what he was getting in Nigeria, and he's not paying for any house rent

He also told me his elder brother has asked him to go and get passport because he want him to move into ivory coast after this" lockdown " grin ( this life is funny, no body knows tomorrow)

Please am not asking any body to just depend on getting a job when he or she move down there ( everyone has different lucky and timing) your best bet is business. And, am just saying this as a way of motivating people to tell them why is good too move away from where u are ( is even scriptura)

If this guy who just left this year can start pulling weight in this few months he left Nigeria.... then u can as well

Atleast he was not opputuned to see my threads like others on this forum, i only told my friend then he took advantage of what i told his brother.....

So guys, I will be updating later on my last topic... Talk later guys....

HELLO GUYS,

Like i promise to update today , i will be sharing something little about how days of the weeks are, in ivory coast. I know many people only have one day of the week in their heart.....

So lets go,

* I will be starting with MONDAY, i know this day to Nigerians is the most serious day among other days of the week.. ( cool down bro, life is not hard grin)

Yes! In ivory coast is like that too but this Ivorians always want to mixed "pleasure and work"

I remember, starting from when i left my house going to meet my Ivorians guys, when i had not yet gotten a soccer team.... From the road side you starting seeing people trooping into the bar and club, and the only question i was asking my self was " is like this people came to night club on Sunday but not yet left the club till Monday morning " grin then again my mind will start running through, and again i ask my self this question " but if they are here from Sunday till Monday, does that mean dey dnt have a job or are they the managers of does companies..."

I was confused this way.... till one faithful monday, as i was going to meet my Ivorian guys..... I saw a white nice ride coming into the bar, then i said " where is this car going then i make sure to know where it was going too... My brethren i saw him driving to where people are dancing, then i finally conclude that this people club even on Monday morning. The painful thing is that is early in the morning by 8am, i saw those people in the club dancing i was so angry but a voice came to me and said " now u know u are in a foreign country" grin that is how i mind my business and FACE where i was going too cool

* TUESDAY'S :- what i notice to my own opinion is a day when the week just started grin forget does people that goes too work by Monday, they are still carrying some " hang over" most managers or directors are likely not be on seat grin "you blame them? " U better dnt blame them.... A country that closes from 2pm or 4pm from work grin

So if a manager or director that went to club starting from Friday to Sunday and he had " hang over" do u think he will be bothery him self? When he knows by 2pm work is closed cheesy

That was why i said Tuesday is Monday to them... When their eyes is now cleared and they start facing realities ( money don finish by that time cheesy

WEDNESDAY:- their markets are always filled up, the atmosphere is always lively. And that is when u will also discover a tribe called "JULA" i believe it originated from " Burkina Faso" but is also an " Ivorian tribe also. Their girls are like those pretty girls in the north of Nigeria ...... That is when u will see a real beauty and standing b**b and nice a** ( na u know Weting dey ur mind ooo) i just they explain cheesy

Na there u go cry why u no hear French! You go call one she go rush come, then after u call her... Weting u won talk? grin

That is where u start thinking of learn French fast! grin

Your * Mr do good" go just they suffer u.... because e dey see something. grin God forgive my sins..... I won just tell them make them know Weting i go see for there.

Let me just stop for this Wednesday, because na "adult content " day. cheesy

I want make people fit sleep this night grin

So guys, i will update THURSDAY, FRIDAY And SATURDAY ( samedi SUA) cheesy, even SUNDAY.

This remaining days are EPIC, so i need enough time to relax too write it.

So guys, see u soon for updates....
