The guy is a miscreant, Lowlife claiming to be something on a faceless thread,
Honestly, i dnt understand why some people think u dnt need to work hard to achieve anything. They use america and Europe to judge any country and if u are not living like the person in america dey say that country is bad.

Not every one will go to America

But i will still say this as a grateful person... Ivory coast gave me the first opportunities in my life.

Not taking anything away from my country Nigeria, but not everyone will be destined to make it in Nigeria.

And if u are reading my write up please make a move... Dnt judge a country by the name, because God is not a man

IT IS POSSIBLE.... YES U ! THAT IS READING THIS. Get up now!

So with all this your ranting you agree that Ivory Coast enjoys electricity more than Nigeria.

Do you know that just last week more than 200 Nigerians were reportedly killed by unknown gunmen in various states, do you know how many thousands has been killed like that in the last 3 years in Nigeria and the killers can't even be caught.

Bandits, Terrorists, Ritualists, Ipob are ravaging Nigeria everyday and in your small mind you think Ivorians are dreaming to relocate to Nigeria grin grin grin

Wake up from your dreams niiga.

OP I saw the posts wey the other person write and everything he said was very true say you dey sell ogede to mugus. Stop lying, he never asked you to forgive him. He just deleted all he said cos you started talking about how this na your thread or something like that.

Guy if to say Ivory Coast so easy like that, why you no stay there and make your millions? Why you cut out? Why you never go back there?

If you like continue to dey use guys catch cruise say you enter a whole Abidjan homeless and with no money and all the girls with big bum bum rush you and shelter you come dey give you abuna up and down. Na beans?

You no see the guys wey dey on ground dey write say e no easy like that? I fit bet everything wey I get say you never comot from Youpougun (or whichever local area you stayed) when you dey there and I can bet say you no see woman pant until suffer make you cut out.

Continue to dey deceive yourself and mugus wey no get sense you hear? angry
grin Oboy if u know me well u go no say i no get time to drag anything with anybody......

I gave u the freedom to write anything here because i felt no matter how negative u sound does who are matured to try will surely make an attempt than to stay in one place for years.... I would have drop a number and address in ivory coast to confirm everything on Nairaland ( just go to the address and ask the the locals around that area about me and why i left)

Or u want me to drop the number of even the transport chairman ? grin

I have decided to stop replying u because u seems not to know the reason why i left there and why am still in Nigeria... but i thank those who knew why am still here

My advice for u is to be careful how u sound so negative and bitter.... Because very soon people will start seeing u as a very negative person ( everybody cannot be lazy ) . Atleast u have made your opinion and i advice u to allow people to make their decision. The more u write on my thread shows how bitter u are and dnt tell me u are doing this for the love of Nigerians. If u are not bitter u would have also stated the opportunities there also for people to compare the good and bad.

Please i won't quote u again

And if u have hate and bitterness for that lovely country i advice u to open a thread and subjected it like this - DONT GO TOO IVORY COAST

But remember it pays to encourage than to discourage. If ivory coast no favor MR 'A' he go favor MR 'B'

Don't forget by the time i start mentioning people who had entered into Abidjan from my thread to give their testimonies.... i know u will feel so bad for trying to discourage people from trying.

BUT REMEMBER AM NOT QUOTING YOU AGAIN

All desame God bless

Signing out !

Emekus Emekus where you de? Labadi69 wan kill your sweet memoir ooo.
grin My brother no dey quote me for negative things abeg, always quote me if u see something positive...And everyone has freedom of speech, you don forget how one particular guy take counter my thread but later ask for forgiveness.....? Any one trying too counter my thread is free, he or she has the right to say anything he want, but it would have been better if he created his own thread and subject it like this - DONT GO TOO IVORY COAST grin

I ThankGod i never wrote this thread to compare it with European countries or America.... If anyone want to canter what i wrote he should check the title of my thread. And again i never begged people to go there, i never promise people heaven and earth, i was just writting on my own memories and pains by encouraging people to try and never give up. And thank God some people that got into Abidjan are really doing fine, i would have shown my messages on my WhatsApp here but no need for that because i never begged any one to try, and is never a sin to try.

Ivory coast gave me hope and succor when i needed them i was frustrated before i traveled, and am not God if he or she had it rough when they where there... Am only telling people what i went through, and the greatest joy to me is that i have people whose life has been transform, i dnt need to post a prove but check some comments grin

Please to say this before i drop my pen, if u are bittered over what i wrote am sorry i cannot help.... And beside it has been 3 years now since i left there so you dnt expect me to be current as 3 years back

But Remember is good to be positive for people to try... than be negative for people to be scared to try. No one said is going to be easy but the most important thing is that u succeeded atlast

Chairman. I greet you Sir. Someone said things have changed in CV. All those goody goody are no longer there.
Things has changed everywhere in the world.... U can judge the country after corona when things are normal.

I guess does who entered came in at the wrong time.

But the funny thing is that among the people from my thread that traveled from January, most of them love it there just few complain and is just for house purpose they complain about, and i believe with time they will understand how it works over there with housing

My advice - dnt believe every comment you see online... Try and go there to be the judge yourself. The comment u are reading online may telling you 5 but when u visit the country u may see 6 grin

Pls can anyone share experience on driver's license and work permit in Cote d'ivoire. Or as a Nigerian we dont need to get work permit I intend to fully relocate there
You can use your driving license when u are there... But in a period of time, try to confirm from the guys in doing it in Nigeria.

For the work permit..... Get into the country first, then u can sort ur self with good info.

Just started reading this thread yesterday, and was able to finish it today. I once traveled to Ghana with the aim to start up a business, little did I know that the government were hostile to Nigeria businessmen at the time in 2016. I spent close to 2m setting up the business and things wasn't going well coupled with govt business registration and all that.

I want to ask a few questions.

1. I'm a trained and licensed Teacher here in Nigeria, what are my chances in CIV.

2. What are the pay for Teachers like in CIV.
3. How much would be enough for a head start like for Accommodation and all that.

Thanks
My guy, i dnt know how to answer all this question now because am not there at the moment... But u can send me a mail with this email address. emekaalezie7@gmail.com

My brother i can't tell u because i left there for few years, and alot of things will come into play like the type of shop.... And will also not want u to be misled.....

But my advice for u is too hold a reasonable amount, the amount of money you know is enough to get a shop here in Nigeria. You might get it cheaper due to currency value

please who knows how much shop costs monthly in techville??EMEKUSBOY9
I can't say because am not there presently.... But it depend on the business u are thinking of doing. Not all businesses u must start with a shop unless u have enough money and you still don't mind to get a shop. So it depends on the business u are thinking of doing because shops and houses in " ivory coast" comes in a different form and terms

Nice writing bro....
Pls how do u interact with them, chat or even communicate at First coz I hardly learn French back in both pry n sec sch days. Perhaps I understand they will be familiar with English too. Then how long does it takes u to understand their exchange value in terms of money Or do they collect foreign money in exchange? Coz aboki buru'd change will be difficult to locate their I assume.
No woman when u see their women u can lean how to communicate by force grin

Joke aside, am trying to let u know to let u know u should try to communicate in any form you can. You can also use google translator or hand sign like grin.

But honestly you will surely learn French if u are sharp starting from 6 months time there, but normally it takes 1 to 2 years to be professional speaker there if u understand.

As for money.... When going there u are to change your money to cefa in Benin Republic or Togo ( i prefer Benin Republic although) you can spend dollars or strong currencies there in their big malls and the rest... You also locate " buru d change" when u get there also, but change some of your money in cefa before entering, while u change the rest amount later when u get there, but remember the exchange rate will not favor u as changing from Benin Republic.

TravelRe: My Sweet "Ivory Coast" Memories by EMEKUSBOY9(op):
Good day my people...

Please, people should know that u cant get a real french life in ADJAME.

Also people should know that they are two type of ADJAME... Which are ADJAME RENA ( am not sure of this spelling because i can't remember the exact spelling again) while the other one is ADJAME MARKET

One of them is most popular for residence mostly while the other one is for business but u can also live in any of the two ADJAME

Adjame is a business area, infact is like "OSHODI MARKET" in lagos , and ONITSHA MARKET in anambra..... dominated by Nigerians and other west Africa countries like Liberia most especially.... Not withstanding that does not mean u won't find an Ivorian people there.

Yes it has no much night life like other cities in ivory coast, but it good place to stay if u dnt have much income to stay in ivory coast... Most Nigerians started their life there. If your plan in ivory coast is too start small then become big in few time or years to come.... then adjame is the place to stay because is very economical.

But as good or bad adjame is, you are going to get what other big cities has or have... Things like light and water are simple things over there. Just be focused that is all u need.

What anybody relocating to adjame should know is that....... It is a cheap place to stay if not the cheapest in ivory coast, and also a grate place to study or do your research in any business, also with how things are done in ivory coast before moving into the real cities.

So if u want to start a life of "grass to grace" then Adjame is for u

Am not saying u can't start small in other cities in ivory coast, but can u pay the price ? Can u go through difficulties to settle quickly to chase your purpose in ivory coast.... Some has nothing but also succeeded in those big cities while others could not succeed because of the gap of life to theirs, they were not able too.

Also, this time a lot has change due to the covid19, not like when i entered ivory coast... But ivory coast is a 100% sweet country but that spark will definitely reduced to 70 % because of covid 19. many countries are beginning to start up their economy because of the damages from covid 19, but what i know is that nothing will take away French life from Ivorians grin just like nothing will stop Yoruba man not host party in Nigeria at this time grin ( Abeg na example i dey give ooo, my Yoruba brothers am not a tribal bigot oooo ) grin

If you want to be useless then start from yopougon, although it has been little bit long i left there..... But i know yopougon will never change grin ( I dey warn u oooo, if u are weak and not determined)

Many cities to explore examples like GRAN BASSAM and the rest..... So my brethren i believe i had done Justice to this ADJAME thing, because most people from this my thread who call me start their life in adjame while others who start from other cities in ivory coast are already feeling like they are in heaven grin

You can make any place look like a heaven if u know why u are there.... Some work hard and flex, while some work hard and later flex in life. People also flex in Adjame if u explore a lot like having friends in other cities. You can go to other cities while u only sleep in adjame.

But dnt forget other Nigerians are in other state in "ivory coast " not just Abidjan.

Stay safe my people God bless.
