2. Is there terrorism there, like we have in Nigeria. (For those going into farming)
3. How often is robbery cases over there.
4. During your stay, have you ever witnessed an election? How bloody is it?

As regards SAMEDI SUA. If you have a girlfriend there, and in the course of your stay you decided to visit Nigeria for few weeks. Won't your girlfriend look elsewhere during those Saturday evening frenzy.

Am here to continue from where i stopped on "SAMEDI SUA" ( Nigerians pronunciation over there)

Let start from FRIDAY!

Friday is also one of the sweetest day in *ivory coast " because FRIDAY gives birth to SATURDAY!

On Friday starting from that morning when u wake u already know two things as a guy...

One of them is that tomorrow is the "deal day" and the other is that u are very likely to get a new girlfriend please am not saying u should leave your girl friend in Nigeria or ivory coast oooo ( i already had one then, so i was not looking for any... )

For those Christian it all start from the morning u left your house to work place or any where u start seeing what to expect on saturday. And for those Muslims they need to wait till after afternoon prayer start from 12 or 1pm, before they can start exploring what Friday got to offer ( u know what i mean)

Friday is full of arrangements and people going to shopping, buying food stuff against Saturday. is really a grate experence for me, because is something different from what we have here in Nigeria. in the same Friday evening every road will be busy and the highest numbers of times u see Ivorian ladies passing.... in fact, is the best time for u to see Ivorian ladies, because all most their women are on a move to their boy friends place.

is really a good feelings i must say.....

Now to the main day ( SAMEDI SUA)

To me and many Nigerians this is the first Christmas of the year for ivorians, even if it happens every Saturday is still first Christmas experience for them. Unless the vibe are no more there like 2 years back i was there.

Starting from that saturday morning the live "English premiereship" match u will be watching to while away your time is something out of this world. Yes ! i watch more premiereship matches and French leagues there in ivory coast than in Nigeria, because over there.... u just tunned your TV the next things are live matches ( am talking about real matches like Chelsea vs man u , without stress or going to ball center or even light issue)

From this day for me is to get my latest dress ready, and ready to slay with my Ivorian girl.

Mothers over there dnt waste their time thinking if they have a daughter to send an errand, because they know u are likely not able to find the girls/ ladies. And even when they are at home they already planing or arranging their things and set to go out. But mind u not all girls are "social type" some may just seat at home or invite their boy friend to their home.

For me and my guys our meeting is postponed till Sunday because we all... are going to be busy one way or the other. You go to their clubs that night filled. That is when u will find "one man to one woman ration " but before entry the club if u are smart enough u can get any woman because they are a lot of ladies outside without a guy and also wanting guys to ask them for a date.

But mind u once u enter inside the club is almost impossible if not impossible to get any woman because they are all hooked..... Infact dnt even try to enter their club on Saturdays without a woman because what your eyes will see, and how free this girls/ ladies express them self..... Then You start getting " jealous and lonely "

An Ivorian girl can come up to u and said "why are u not with a girl" ( my brother, check am na... If Ivorian girl come to u as a "Nigerian tiger" why u are not with girl. That is "falling hand " big time! )

The high point as a Nigeria guy is when Nigeria songs start dropping...... Believe me, the way ur girl friend will hold u will be like u are about to run but she dnt want u to go.

That is when u are very proud of Nigeria, because all eyes will be on you and may luck shine on you that day u are the only Nigerian inside that club. You are now the new chairman for that club ooooo

You people know what our songs does to the soul. But if u want to see the real "as* shaking" just wish they play their own song then u will understand why their women are so hot!

I have to go guys, and i hope i can convince my friends to jump into my thread and also contribute to what have been saying.....

HI GUYS,

Am going to be talking about things that i noticed in ivory coast.

Everything i will be stating here is from my own experience over there and not "hearsay"

Firstly, i need to say this as first thing i noticed over there in ivory coast.

This people always mind their businesses. They dnt interfere in anybody life and choice. i wish Nigeria as a country can learn this.

I remember how i was homeless and the first girl i met took me to her place and her mother could not say anything because is her choice ( if it was in nigeria now her mum would have told her that i was homeless and not good for her )

Is only in ivory coast you can find a church and a drinking bar in same place even close to an hotel. Am not talking one minutes away from each other but both building using same " fence" ( that is too much tolerance)

I remember a story when i was still in "ivory coast " am not going to mention the name of the Nigeria church i was attending at that time, but that issue was so funny to me uptill now! Listen guys....

I was with my 3 Nigeria friends, and we were all seating outside the church that evening when a police man who is living close to the church came and make a report about the noise pollution from the church speaker at that time( this speaker is little bit faulty and i believe that was why the noise was unbearable for the man kids) the man was complaining about his kids not able to study at night during the exam period. When he told us... Bobby and Isioma assured him of taking the matter to the pastor.

Listen guys! When isioma and bobby told the pastor. the pastor told them dnt worry we are going to chase the bars and hotel with our speakers honestly uptil today i dnt know if the pastors was right or wrong because i dnt like too criticize any pastor.

i was just thinking if it were in Nigeria if a church and bar can be tolerated to stay in one premises. When the church speakers are ON and the bar music big speakers are ON also. This is to tell u people that this people always mind their businesses

The other thing i notice in " ivory coast" is that if i came to visit u and u were eating while i came in at that time, u will have to stop eating and give me the whole food to continue eating... And is now left for me to take it or permit you to carry on with ur food. Even if u people are 5 eating in one plate... You all need to stop and give me everything to continue eating ( trust Nigerians for this advantage)

The other thing i noticed that if u have visited an Ivorian person for like 2 times and the 3rd times he or she gave u food or ask u to come and eat, then if u refused..... He or she will start suspecting u, because to them if u love them why would u not want to take anything from them. ( saying NO to anything they gave u is almost a SIN)

in ivory coast 95 percent if not all mothers... knows their daughter boyfriends, that is to say if u are dating any girl in ivory coast her mother will surely know. So u better have it in your mind before u drive rough .

Listen guys! Have seen a situation when Bobby approached a girl and they both fixed a time too meet up, but funny enough and to our surprise we saw the girl and her mother coming to meet Bobby we were are all shocked!

That moment Bobby told us this in pidgin at the bar " i no do again" ( bush meat don catch the hunter)

I am not joking and not saying " hearsay" to u guys. am telling u all about my memories and " fact file"

I noticed in " ivory coast " all schools starting from the primary to the higher level ( that is universities/colleges) has morning and night session but the elders are more oppurtuned to be seen at night school session ( no excuse or age issue why u should not be educated) even adult dey primary school

So..... many things to say but i have to stop and come back soon with an update in few days time... Hopefully to write more on (SAMEDI SUA)
