Yes, you can move to Canada without job offer. And yes again, you can do unskilled jobs while waiting to write licencing exams

Thanks for your response, just a few clarifications, are you implying that express entry allows me move to Canada without a job offer? If yes, does the law permit me to do some unskilled jobs while waiting to write my licencing exams and searching for permanent employment or do I have to live off my savings no matter how long it takes to be certified in Canada? Thanks
Thanks for the link.

It depends on the type of care job. All care jobs require, at minimum, First Aid certificate and Food Safe which you can get done in just ONE day each. Other than that some care jobs don't require any certification while others do. For example, to work in some 'residential group home', you need a Certificate in Health Care (Health Care Assistant Certificate) and a class 4 driver's license.

Provinces may vary in their requirements.

By the way, the link below gives a number of IMG support programs in Canada. On the page, under IMG Support Program, click 'IMG Support Programs across Canada' to see more.

Does a foreign doctor need extra training, certification or licencing to take up 'care jobs' in Canada, and in what province can one easilly get 'care Jobs' before one can start his/her medical career in Canada ?

Foreign doctors start with 'care jobs' which is closer to their profession while they write their MCC exams. If you've got atleast 2 years of independent practice and written MCCEE, you 'may' get a job in BC. There is currently a program for that.

You could also apply to be a Clinical Trainee being supervised by a physician but NO PAY just the clinical experience which will give you upper hand over other candidates, say, you want to apply for residency.
Thanks

welkom to the thread.
kindly use the search bar to look up MCC .....also go thru the profile n posts from @ vcole, esosa4real and ugoiyke79e for details. They have made several posts that would answer ur questions.
To summarily answer u, MCC handles d eca for medical doctors applying with the 3112NOC. Any other eca would be rejected. MCC sends u the eca report hard copy which u then upload in your application.
cheers.
Thanks to everyone
I applied from Poland.

I almost gave up about studying in Canada because I had stories about challenges applying outside Nigeria but someone in this forum encouraged me, even when I find it difficult to provide a good SOA. All I provided was my retired dad's statement with just 500k. Though the PhD is funded but just approximately 17CAD per year.
To those still awaiting approval never give up, I would also help with prayers am also available to help review SOP, this would reduce the burden placed on the gurus in the thread.
