what I did was to first evaluate my BSc which was what I had then, and when I had my MSc I also uploaded. By holding on the evaluation for BSc, you cant even get the points for that. If your points are high enough, I'd suggest you evaluate the BSc still (just maybe it'll be enough to qualify you for the next draw) and when the MSc is ready, evaluate also. Your scores will be updated when you update your profile. It also depends on availability of funds sha.
Thanks for your advise. My BSc alone will not take me this far because I don old already (very late 30’s).

You are supposed to evaluate the degree that would give you the highest score in your case, masters. Evaluating your bachelor’s degree is not necessary. I don’t know how it works if you evaluate your bachelors and try to evaluate your masters down the line.
Thanks so much Dauphine. I had to call them directly and they’ve agreed to hold on to my evaluation till I submit my MSc in future.
The lady said they’re gonna evaluate both my BSc and MSc since they have almost completed the BSc evaluation.

I do not know what that results to in the long run as everyone evaluates the highest degree. Make dem no come give me 2 or more certificates for my MSc o (na Tinubu go settle am 😂).

Should I call back to cancel the BSc and still hold till I present my MSc later on ?

Everybody please 🙏

First off, Thank you for the response 🙏. To be very honest, I know I’m supposed to evaluate my masters alone but I just wanted to join the pool asap maybe I can get nominated by a province while waiting to complete my Masters.
Is it any possible to change to MSc on WES page (I have paid & got WES reference number o) and ask them to hold on till I complete my MSc so I don’t have to pay again later on?
Please help answer the bolded 🙏.
God bless y’all.

Please bail me out my people 🙏🙏

I have paid for WES couple weeks back for my BSc as my masters result wont come out till the end of May. My Uni contact just called me now that my transcript is ready and they’re about sending it to WES digitally.
My worries;

1. Is it advisable to ask my Uni contact to hold on till my MSc transcript (different uni) is ready in May so I can add it to my WES profile and evaluate both at once OR

2. Should I give him the go-ahead to send my BSc to WES for evaluation and add my MSc later in May when it’s ready ?

I’m at loss because it just occurred to me now that WES charges same amount irrespective of how many documents you’re evaluating I.e they charge the same amount for evaluating multiple documents like BSc & MSc at once as evaluating just one. Am I right please ?

3. I think it won’t be commonsensical if I do the duo separately as they will charge me again by the time I want to evaluate my MSc in May.

GraciousWords, you just eased off my worries. Only God can thank you for me. May you find favour before God and man 🙏

Page 1 FAQ 35 please.

Looks like by your admission and the IRCC definition (https://www.canada.ca/en/services/immigration-citizenship/helpcentre/glossary.html) you are separated. When you get ITA your checklist will show exactly what you need to provide as legally separated, it may likely be same as the lady in FAQ 35.

Not sure you can add your new babe to your app until the divorce from previous madam is final, but I no be lawyer sha.

I need more insight on this my people👇
Emeoko24:
Hi fellow Canadians 😊, please help me out.

I’m a married man but I have been separated from my wife for a few years now (not fully divorced yet). I just initiated divorce proceedings few days ago because I want to create EE profile and start my Canada PR journey.

I have another lady who I am exclusively dating & willing to take her with me to Canada. This is where the confusion sets in;

- There’s ‘legally separated’ in the EE marital status but I’m not sure whether I will be asked to provide some legal documents to prove that. Though I could get a letter from the lawyer handling the divorce and from the registry where the marriage was held

-Should I create my EE profile & apply for PR as ‘married with spouse unaccompanying ’ pending the divorce process is completed? Mind you divorce could take up to 6 months to a year to be completed.

-If I chose ‘common law relationship’ with my current gf, is there any placeholder or box to explain that I’m in the process of divorce with the one I earlier applied for PR with ?

Please note: I can’t apply as single because my ex and I have applied for PR before with our marriage certificate before things went sour between us.

Please bail me out my senior colleagues or someone that has been in this kind of situation so I don’t go astray 🙏.

Thank you

I think you'll need the affidavit from the court that you've initiated the divorce process if you apply as separated. Checkout Reddit, once stumbled on someone in a similar situation.

Thank you so much for this. I’d go on Reddit and see as suggested.
Cheers
