Politics / Re: Fayemi’s Legacy In Ekiti And The Possibilities For The Nigeria Agenda by EmirOfNews: 8:53pm On Jun 06, 2022 |
What stupid legacy? Abeg shiftMickykarim: Fayemi provided the following and according to the writer without any sense of value with responsibility.
Free education provision of roads Free medical attention Security.
ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONS ARE THE CONVENTIONAL NORMAL AND THE ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ELCETED EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF ANY DEMOCRATIC DISPENSATION ALL OVER THE WORLD WHERE DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE OBTAINS.
It is only in Nigeria and the black world that we CELEBRATE what is expected of any public officer and usual normal public office DELIVERIES.
WHAT DID Fayemi CAMPAIGNED TO DO FOR THE PEOPLE IF NOT THE ENUMERATION ABOVE.
Therefore, Fayemi has neither done anything extraordinary, nor perform beyond the expectations. He has actually done what was expected of him in public office which cannot be verified. It is the people of the Ekiti state, not you PAID AGENT that should sing his praise if he actually delivered dividends of the democracy, he promised the electorate.
Mr. WRITER YOU HAVE NOT ONLY EXPOSED Fayemi FOR SAUNDARY PERFORMANCE, RATHER NON-PERFORMANCE AS GOVERNOR OF Ekiti State.
Clearly, you have no understanding of the duties of the office of the executive governor of a state with, what it entails. Including, the functions expected of any governor of a state. God bless you brother... 1 Like |

Only Mauritius, Seychelles rank very high on the global passport index and to an extent, South Africa.
But in Africa, they are the best three in this order: - Seychelles - Mauritius - South Africa.
Although they have the best passports in Africa, none grants automatic citizenship by birth.
Especially Seychelles... The passport strong die....chai |

oluflourish: Well, it's your decision to make, but if you ask me... African country is not worth it apart from Namibia, Mauritius, Seychelles, South Africa, Botswana but how many of them give citizenship by birth?. Those that give is more or less like holding same passport as Nigerian.... Worthless. The money you will spend for flight, feeding, hospital, housing are more saved and get a good country to give birth and give your kids the world.... Your Nigerian born also gets PR and Accelerated Citizenship before 2-3yrs. But I wish you well if you still insist in Africa Thanks so much and God bless! This really help!! |
Travel / Re: . by EmirOfNews: 11:35am On May 23, 2022 |
oluflourish: I will like to commend your efforts in having a good plan for your kids, at it stands now, this is one of the best decision intending couples are to take. 1. With wife already 5months gone, you don't have time, and you should have concluded plan a long time ago. Your best bet now is give birth your first now in Nigeria, and plan for others in Mexico, Brazil, Chile... The first two gives advantage of automatic citizenship for the child and PR for the whole family including grandparents. That you have your baby now in Nigeria does not mean that he will not get PR through your next child.. It will even help you to plan well next time. I had my first in Portugal, and the child is Portuguese because my wife had her after been a resident in Portugal after living in Portugal for 2yrs, now the Portuguese law says 1 year as resident. In Chile, your baby also gets automatic citizenship as long as any of the parent has Temporary Resident Permit..... Using a birth tourist company will help you with that. To me, Chile passport is better than US and even Canada because it takes you the most important places in the world and citizens that live outside Chile are not taxed. Taxation is even making US citizens renounce their American passport because uncle Sam will follow you everywhere, and Canada is towing same part. Your strategy now, have this one in Nigeria and plan for the next in Mexico, Brazil, Chile. If your child who is now Chilean born or Mexican born will be eligible for Spanish citizen after 2yrs as Spanish resident.... You already set that child for life. More option to live, work, study, free Healthcare abroad. Well detailed and so helpful, thanks so much. Still, I want to try Africa country this times and plan well next time. Just any good Africa country will be okay so next time, I will plan well and be fully ready. 1 Like |
Business / Re: Ekiti: Why Senator Olujimi, Rep. Bamisile’s LGA Has Been In Darkness For 7 Years by EmirOfNews: 10:18am On May 23, 2022 |
This is so common in Ekiti. If a community has issues with them, they will cut off the light and throw them in darkness. They once did that in my town, it took the intervention of their senior staff from our town before they restored it after months. Unfortunately, nothing the state government can do about it because it's now a Private company. Unresolved conflict my ass...stupid people! |

JapaProfessor:
There are quite a number of factors to consider i.e budget, motive, long-term goal, culture etc.
But since there are no specifics here, here are some of the countries that grant citizenship by birth:
USA (for the sake of the mention) Canada.
Others include: Barbados Grenada Saint Kitts and Nevis Guyana Chile, Argentina Dominica Belize Uruguay Paraguay Panama.
Unfortunately, not a lot of African countries grant citizenship by birth and that includes Nigeria, but if Chad and Lesotho sounds good for you, then you should actively consider the two as they grant citizenship by birth.
Most African countries require at least one of the parents to be a citizen to be entitled to citizenship.
Since I realized that dual citizenship is not possible in Tanzania, Lesotho came to mind BUT till now, I don't know how we can get the visa. I've searched but no positive result. I will appreciate any advice please! |

MyGare: Oh sorry about that. Citizenship for those born in Zambia used to be automatic. I just saw that now the child can only apply to be registered when they reach 18. I hope you find what you are looking for. Even if I see countries like this that is very easy to enter, I will appreciate it. Right now, we are out of time so if I see good country that my baby can apply for citizenship at the age of 18, I will grab it sharp sharp. |

MyGare: OP since Africa is not a problem for you, you can consider Zambia. It's peaceful and has the 10th strongest passport in Africa. (If I remember correctly).
It's not as though it's one very beautiful country but it has a system that works and Zambians have a good reputation outside.
You will also not need to spend too much for everything. Thank you ma'am but unfortunately, Zambia doesn't give citizenship by birth. That's the problem. |

Tanzania's law does not permit dual citizenship. Thanks Prof... I got to know this after so many research too. Only Lesotho allows that and their passport is almost the same but I don't even know how to get Lesotho visa too. They don't have embassy here. Unfortunately, I have spoken with Tanzania embassy before I got to know that they don't allow dual citizenship |

birthtourismbr: Having your baby in Brazil has so much advantage. And getting a visa is not so difficult. Why don’t you come here to São Paulo Brazil and it will automatically give you and your nuclear family a permanent resident permits and passport* for the newborn. If you are willing to stay here for a year then you are eligible to apply for a citizenship too with your PR permit. The health system is very good and public health system here can bê likened to most private hospitals system in Nigeria. Let me know if you need more information #br_babies I help people with having Brazilian babies here. Thanks so much ma'am... Like how much in total will it cost me? I mean everything! I was there during Easter and also Arinta Water falls... This places are nice with fair roads BUT government need to be smart and work on tourism. The state government can build very nice hotel there (I mean nice one oo) with good security.... I'm sure it will be a good investment.
And for those considering security maybe on the highway... I think Ekiti is building airport now (not sure though). You can easily fly to the state. 4 Likes |

Mr/Mrs Mature, with Tinubu and Obi as the candidate of the two parties, who will you vote for?
Afonjas think say them wise pass everybody. To them the Southern Agenda means the SW, even after being President and VP for 16 years. Greedy lots. Uncle, I've always be voting PDP. We voted Atiku/Obi in 2019..so why we no support Osinbajo? So for your question, if it's Tinubu vs Obi, I will vote Obi not because I support PDP because I believe in Obi...(Tinubu should go rest...Nigeria is bigger than his selfish interest). But if it's Osinbajo vs Obi, I will vote Osinbajo. Thanks and enjoy your day! |

Hmm..the fact is, he won't get the ticket. And as a Yoruba man, I don't care if Yoruba gets the ticket or not...all I want is man who will at least save this country. If you ask Tinubu; "why do you want to be a President?" His response will be, "it's a longtime ambition". Imagine! Though all of them are selfish but I strongly believe that some will still try and make changes that will help this country. Jonathan sef, I don't trust him again... gforce5: I know! I was just being generous to the OP. N5 million is not much to have a child outside Africa. You not only need to get a visa to said destination but a transit visa as well due to the fact that the Nigerian passport is weak. We haven't included flight tickets, accommodation, living expenses, hospital bills and baby food. Birth tourism isn't for the average joe in Nigeria. You need to be at least Upper Middle Class to afford it. I wan settle for Tanzania abeg I've checked ranking of passports and their passport ranks better than Nigeria's. I think that would be better for the baby. 2 Likes |

Yampotatocarrot:
There's a thread on Brazil. Check out that thread, and trust me, you'll be glad you did.
It's not expensive and giving birth there automatically covers your other children (or so). After just few months of living there (I think 6), the parents can apply for citizenship on the "back" of the baby who was given birth to there. Visa-free to a lot of countries
Just search for that Brazil thread, and read thoroughly. Information I gave here might not be totally right so go there to be more accurate
(I didn't even know people had mentioned Brazil already) Thanks Bro. I've checked out the thread but my issue is the Brazil visa. I don't know how long it will take to process and the chances of getting the visa. |

gforce5: OP, like most members have said, traveling to Brazil is your best option. Europe is out of the question as citizenship by birth (jus soli) is not automatic. You don't stand a chance of getting a U.S./Canadian visa as your missus is already 5 months pregnant and the pregnancy will be too visible to the visa consul. In Brazil, the whole family can attain citizenship within 2 years after birth in the country. I don't know the costs of giving birth but to be on the safe side, it's best to have a budget of N5million. That should cover everything from visa fees, flight tickets, accommodation and hospital bills. Best of luck. Good bless you sir/madam. I so much appreciate but for the past few hours, I have been checking out how to get Brazil visa but I can see that the visa takes time. And I so much appreciate the fact that your response gives full info including budget but I will like to ask please. Can we consider Belize or Barbados? Because both countries are visa free to Nigeria Passport. Like I said, all I need is just another passport for my baby. Thanks and I await your response! |
