TravelRe: Lagos BRT Drama: Lady Who Complained About Bus Shortage Gets Harassed(video) by emiye(m): 4:10pm On Mar 11
Just showing queque of people entering a bus may not be sufficient for why more buses should be provided. To make a case for more buses, there may be a need to state interval of bus arrival. I see somewhere she was saying if she waits for 5 minutes to join a bus, she is making a video, and i started suspecting it was for clout purposes. 1 hour waiting for a bus during peak hours is not fair and needs to be worked on. It makes absolute sense there would be waiting interval and it may be more than 5 minutes,if it is justified than waiting passengers usually fill them up within such interval, then buses should be provided. The buses also want to generate money from standing passengers.

The More opposition Tinubu gets, the more he succeeds ! That is what majority of politicians have realised. There are certain individuals like that. The secret to keep that destiny is to not be vindictive to the opposition, and he has kept faith with that attitude. I just exposed a secret, some still dont realise.

It will be 33+ by election time. at least 2 out of Osun, Abia and Bauchi will be in the bag. Anambra APGA is the first national party to endorse APC for the presidential election. Only 1 or 2 state(s) will be in opposition In January 2027 to the presidential election. FCT also in the bag. It is now looking like a walkover when one consider a higher likelihood of disaster from the ADC primaries compared to APC primaries.

Why should responsibility be different from what is received as compensation for the job done huh

HealthRe: How Did My Wife Have Staph? by emiye(m):
Fuckallmods:
Imagine!
My wife has staphylococcus but still denies me sex??

Oh I was good man! I admit today. But good men are foolish when it comes to being good to women.

We’ve been married for roughly 11 months now, you know the kind of Christian marriage where you don’t test your products’ output before purchase.
Before marriage, we did the important medical tests like hiv, genotype, blood group, etc.

One thing I observed about my wife is I always have to initiate sex; but 7 of 10 times she denies me sex, before and after marriage. We’ve been together for 3+ years now.

Recently I observed skin breaking in her vaginal area while we were bathing together, so I asked her to do an std/uti test. She did the test and result came out with staph positive.

I was really pissed, because I don’t sleep around. Her response was that she got it from public toilet… I didn’t even argue. At this point I was just thinking of myself.

I did mine, (swab, urine and blood ) and it came out negative.

All these happened while she was denying me sex as her husband, all because I was being good to her and giving her every attention she needs.

It turns out women don’t value men that are good to them, or who plays and offer them attention. This is so because I’m focusing on my friends and giving them more attention than her now, and I’m noticing changes.

Currently I’m not drawn to her emotionally anymore, not because she has uti, but because she will deny me sex for no reason… and she know how much I fear adultery
She’s my wife, when sex comes I take it. If it doesn’t, I have my friends to chill with.
Even if I cheat now, I won’t feel remorse
Even if I impregnate another woman outside now, I won’t feel guilty.

I want her family to perceive me as a bad person now… maybe this is the kind of man I am, maybe this is the kind of man their daughter has forced me to become… but I won’t be a slave to any woman because of sex.

I know y’all must be asking why I’m sharing this information now… I’m sharing because before marriage, I expected unlimited intimacy, I expected love. And just like some of you reading this my post, you’ll be feeing the-same, maybe yours will be different from mine.

Women always want to control situations… she expected a man she could control with sex, not knowing there’s unlimited sex out there, even before I decided to get married. I was the fool, I was the good man, and just like everybody else, you will regret why you’re good to women.
There are different type of staph. There is one for newly deflowered virgins called staph saprophyticus . She may not be enjoying the sex @ Op, i know that may hurt your ego, but you have to calm down and figure how she can enjoy the experience. When you are so starved and want to just have sex, your chances of focusing less on pleasuring your partner increases.

CBN deliberately slowing appreciation of the naira? For what exactly?
Government income . Nigerias 2026 budget is based on 1,400/usd and i think 1.9 million barrels . Gradual and steady appreciation also suggest a reliable currency, a volatile appreciation provides room for seeing currency as hedging / speculation tool.
BusinessRe: Naira Weakens To N1,359/$ After CBN Cuts Rate At 304th MPC Meeting by emiye(m): 4:17pm On Feb 25
Nigeria is turning the downward tide ,but most people are not noticing yet as the microeconomics for most is not encouraging. Foreign reserve now the highest in 13 years at 50 billion USD. It is a double edge sword, as reducing interest rate put more pressure on the naira, but it is necessary as it is almost direct proportional to borrowing rate for entrepreneurs. Interest rate at not more than 15% is a safe zone.

This consistent rise of foreign reserves will improve naira. I opine that if we get to 120 billion usd, which is possible in 5 years, Naira will be less than 750/usd. The highest ever foreign reserve for Nigeria was in 2008 at 62 billion usd.
FamilyRe: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by emiye(m):
DesireV:
Muslims should sacrifice their faith? This is easy to say because the common law upon which our system is based favours you. Flip positions and imagine it.

Personally, I support the Igbos or any group's right to freedom. So far it's the wish of the majority. I don't believe any group should sacrifice their freedom of anything for whatever reason.

If you will be stoned in Kano for discussing a topic of interest, that's Kano, not shariah.
Again, shariah doesn't contradict any provision of our constitution. If it does is anyway, make adequate references to the shariah provision that contradicts which specific constitutional provision.

The issue really is non Muslims using certain practices by some Muslims to judge Islam as a whole. This isn't fair. Kano isn't the only state in this country where shariah is adopted. Hisbah activities vary across the 12 northern states that adopted shariah. Infact, it existed only on paper in Borno. Each state has its legal framework for shariah. Northern Nigerian isn't the only region where shariah has been adopted. There are countries with Islam as state religion and shariah as the legal system. Non Muslims live in these countries without having to sacrifice anything.

Out of intolerance, rather than interrogate the real issues, non Muslims call the dog a bad name, so that it can be killed. Instead of them to find out exactly what shariah law's position is on matters, they reference what some people do under the guise of shariah and parade it as shariah.
Anyone advocating for a practice suited for the 16th century at best in the 21st century is unfit for the current society. Most of the Sharia practices are repugnant and not fit for modern day living, and it is not in religion only, it applies to backward cultureas well . A good example of retrogressive culture that is causing chaos and disaster in Nigeria is the fulani culture of rearing cows that is not in tune with modern world. If you think with growing population, growth and civilization, becoming a nomad on any available land is a sustainable culture, you are unfit to be related with. The fulani herdsman still wants to live as early man, with little or no value for human lives and claim it is culture. To hell with any religion or culture that refuses to make modification.
FamilyRe: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by emiye(m): 12:58am On Feb 25
alezzy13:
I don't think divorce is a major issue. From my brief experience in the North, the real problem is unbridled child bearing! Chai! Those women can born like eh. . . shocked
They are linked together. When those young girls get married and divorce, they keep remarrying and give birth to some of the new husbands. There is a large propensity to have a child for a new husband. I agree multiple children they cant take care is most likely the biggest problem in the core north, but root cause is religion and divorce rules under the said religion.

franchasng:
Before I answer your question, I will ask you honest question and I will need you to answer me sincerely.

Can devil ever do good? The obvious answer is NO!

A man's source of income mostly determines who he becomes in life. How a man earns a living matters a lot in how he handles every other thing in life. The moment a man ends up earning a living through brazen corruption, illegalities, cheating others and committing serious crimes, that man can never be a good leader because his conscience will become dead.

Tinubu is a known corrupt man, a kleptomaniac with too many secrets (family lineage, age, educational record, employment history, business dealings, marriage, etc) and gray areas, who used illicit wealth or let me say unknown wealth source to buy Lagos state Governorship position which he then confiscated the moment he became Governor of Lagos state in 1999 and has held Lagos state on ransom ever since then, selecting and appointing Governors, House of Assembly members, LGA Chairmen, etc like Lagos is his personal family business.

Tinubu owns a private jet, ask yourself how did he acquired a private jet; someone that doesn't have any known and popular business or company rendering services or selling products to a large population, so how did he acquired the wealth to buy private jet and become stupendously rich if not through corrupt practices, including confiscation of Lagos state and turning it to his private estate where he rules like an emperor.

Now a man with such a questionable character, who made most part of his wealth through corruption and corrupt practices that is obvious to all, can such a man ever do good as a President that now provide him the opportunity to loot at a larger scale without questioning?

Did you see how he awarded the coastal highway project, a big project like that was never advertised on national dailies for months for interested and capable contractors to bid, boom he awarded it to his political-business associates at a very whooping cost.

If Nigeria was China, or some serious countries, Tinubu and Dave Umahi will end up in jail serving life sentence or facing capital punishment for such brazen corruption and abuse of office. Go and read about the case of a former British Royal now under arrest for abuse of office, he never did half of what Tinubu and co have done without national outcry.

Another reason I personally dislike Tinubu is his nepotism and dangerous politics of tribal division, whereby he intentional incite Yorubas against Igbos as a political tactics. He uses tribal sentiments and bias to rally his tribesmen and women and also awaken their consciousness to a dangerous level towards the Igbos whom he feels threatens his political hegemony in Lagos, and this has further polarized and divided Nigeria, especially among Igbos and Yorubas more than ever.

Don't think he started it in 2023, he has always used this divisive politics before Peter Obi contested for President in 2023. If you doubt me, go back and search about Jimmy Agbaje and his tag as an Omo Igbo which Tinubu's political party and adherents have been using since 2015 especially.

So that is my number one reason for not liking Tinubu, he has polarized Nigeria and divided Igbos and Yorubas more than ever in history and the damage he has done will take God and years to repair.

Lastly, he is arrogant and prideful. He always carry himself like he is a god that nobody can challenge him and that whatever he wants he does and whatever he says he must do whether it affects people or not doesn't matter. This is a very bad quality of a leader.

Let me stop here for now
The way he awarded the project was a masterstroke, something Nigeria needs. Big milestone projects never gets done because it gets bogged down in corrupt ridden and failure personified red tapes. If it was a dunceee president, they will still be at the feasibility study of that project and abandon it as cost keep changing. The way he galvanised the national assembly and ensured the tax reform bill was initiated and passed in to an act in a year in the face of opposition is something that needs to be studied, it is of the same mold as the Petroleum industry act that took almost forever (12 years) to be passed and when it was even passed, it was a dangerously watered down and messed up shit that was passed in the Petroleum Industry Act. He signed executive orders some days ago to fix the mess of that poor job of the Petroleum industry act. The dexterity of removing fuel subsidy on a swearing in podium, something Buhari was afraid to do for 8 years so as not appear like a bad president. Nigerians do not appreciate Tinubu enough now(even supporters) , but many will look back and recognise he was what we needed. Nigeria can not work with people who can not galvanise, and will come back after 4 years to claim it was someone that made them fail and loads of excuses.

AMINDA:
Are we supposed to celebrate a mere projection of overtaking Algeria from 4th to become 3rd? Africa is the only continent where the most populous country is not the largest economy and that happened under Tinubu's watch. Buhari handed over a Nigeria that was the largest economy in Africa. Is Nigeria better-off or worse-off than we were 3 years ago on all metrics? The jury is out there. Tinubu should just take Nigeria back to where he met her. This is retrogression, not progress.

https://businessday.ng/news/article/africas-powerhouses-10-largest-economies-on-the-continent-in-2023/
The boldened is not true. Germany is not the most populous country in europe despite being largest economy in europe. Nigeria's GDP reduced in dollar terms quite largely due to the Forex reform that fixed over valuing the Naira from the true value, and the economy is resetting itself. Nigeria's GDP has continued to grow.

Brendaniel:
You don't get it, do you?

The minister for finance said Nigeria only made 10 trillion in total revenue not just crude oil alone, from tax, gas and every other sources, so the crude oil cannot be 10 trillion, it is either 5 trillion, so where did about 50 trillion go to ?
If you are going to make such wide assertion, provide a news reference. That is not a possibility, even customs alone made over 7 trillion naira, when you factor FIRS, NNPC& subsidiaries e.t.c that . I see or heard no news of the finance minister saying that. It seems people forget everytime that revenue allocation of income , means federal govt keeps 52%, meaning about 48% of the total income is shared to the lower tiers of government . I have seen one Bauchi senator speak like a market woman about govt income and budget and i wonder how that kind of person contributes smartly to the Senate. What FG shares to states and local government is not included in the FG budget.

If goverment total income is 80 thrillion, it can only keep about 40 thrillion, if it has a budget of 55 thrillion, it may need about 15 thrillion borrowing to service the budget.
