sore loser. Fayose don't need federal police for protection. Common people like okada riders and teachers are the one defending him. The same people that chased away fayemi are defending fayose. In life, when your people are ready to die to defend you in spite of propaganda and intimidation, giving you 100percent in election, you are a genius. Fayose is the only governor that scored 100percent in every election in nigeria in the last election and you are saying he shouldn't be a role model to youth. Kindly mention the name of any member of your family that ever won a councillorship election so I can make him my role model. Fool
Adedibu of Oyo state had done better than him while he was alive, he won elections as long he supports a candidate, but thuggery and intimidation was the mode of operation, what has Fayose done differently?. You are a fool if you think thugs deployed by a governor can stop or limit the lawmakers , if the actions were not supported by the police. How you can support a governor who installed 7 lawmakers to sack 19 lawmakers should put you in crying mode . Your reasoning is so backward, and the Nigerian society will be better off, the more we have less of you. It is people like you that supports a village thief/criminal as long as he is the richest man in your village, in your warped logic such person deserves a chieftaincy title.

Never say never, The tenure of the current members of house ends in June 4. 7days with APC at the centre can change the story. Fayose only bank on thugs and police support to commit his illegalities

He made some good observations, but one could also say he spoke with an hypocritical mouth. Where was all these voice of reason when PDP was at the centre, what has he said about his own Bayelsa state as to how it is currently being governed, his state is an irony, so rich in allocations, yet so poor in infrastructure.

Thank GOD I am not TEMITEMI, I would have been forced to say FAYOSE my role model. The lawmakers are scared of the people they want to legislate over while fayose eats amala, laughing with people in local joint. They want to continue their legislative duties in ibadan...yet they want to impeach fayose. Buhari should better not allow petty politics to distract him. These guys are clowns
hush, and don't think like a fool. That a governor of a state mobilises thugs against the lawmakers . and station them around the state entrance with tacit support of the the policemen is something you lousy folks should be ashamed of. It was a similar modus Operandi of infamous Late Lamidi Adedibu , if that is your kind of role model, you are a disappointment to your generation and the next.

Remove Federal police support from Fayose, and he is gone, so tell me what is special about such a fellow?

O boy, I can see you are not current to the news lately. KwanKwaso said they used almajiris to vote out GEJ. He even posted some kids pictures voting. In 2011, GEJ won Kano, Kaduna but this time APC got more than 1.4m votes to PDP 200k+, same also in Kano. SE and SS, PdP didn't record up to 500k votes. GEJ simply want this country to thrive. Its not a do or die.
you are writing gibberish, If kwankwanso said they use almajiris to vote out GEJ, maybe the almajiris are over 18 years. He couldn't have posted kid pictures voting.

GEJ lost woefully in Kano in 2011, not even did he get 25% of votes in Kano in 2011, let me enlighten you further, the then Kano governor who contested as ANPP presidential candidate also failed to get 25% of votes in the state he governed, In the same Kano Buhari had well over a million votes in 2011.
Buhari also won in Kaduna in 2011, stop writing like some unenlightened fellow in this day when you can get information at the tip of your fingers.

Underage voting is overrated, what is underrated is one idiiot sitting down in one corner and singlehandedly thumbprinting 500 ballot papers in 10 minutes, a situation that was the other of the day in many SS states.

In the NW /NE , voters turnout in relation with PVC collected was 45%-55%. In the SS, voters turnout in relation with PVC collected was 60%-75%,sensible deductions can be made from these facts.

As you and I know, there's no way the SS/SE will support Buhari. The results there is truely right. Also as you know, the PVC favored APC clearly. If the election is the choice of the masses, why will the North use underage and Almagiris during the election? I like what GEJ did for the best interest of this country. Now, Buhari is saying things contrary to campaign promises. Guy tell yourself the home truth.

Who did the underage almajiris voted for ? it could be PDP for all we know. There were 120,000 polling units all over Nigeria, if there were 10 underage almajiris in each of them all, and they all voted for APC, that is 1.2 million votes for APC, does it change the overall winner of the election ? I have no doubt that Buharis margin of victory was actually more than the 2.6 million , when we consider oe man one vote.
Politics / Re: Jonathan Questions Buhari's Victory by emiye(m): 9:20pm On Apr 30, 2015
He should keep shut, the 2.6 million margin should have been more, the SS votes were grossly tampered with in his favour, the SE votes were also minimally tampered with, but i opined that the presence of APGA a relatively strong force in SE also contesting for National assembly positions on the same day minimised what could have been a massive rigging in SE for GEJ in the bud.

Well like I said initially it is not the death penalty that reduce crime rate but it is quick efficient justice that can bring crime rate down. No matter if the penalty is little imprisonment. Captivity itself is more painful than death penalty. No matter what is the mode of punishment but as long justice is done quickly and correctly only mad people would commit crime. So countries that have death penalties but does not have efficient justice, the country is heaven for criminals. Important thing is quick and cheap justice. The rate of drug trafficking in Southeast Asia have been consistently increasing despite the death penalty decree.

Death penalty doesn't keep the society free of crime. Homicide or drug trafficking for countries that applies the death penalty are consistently high than countries that doesn't.

Contrary to popular belief, State sanctioned killing isn't reverse for worse crimes but for defendants with inefficient legal aid or lawyers. Most time it doesn't apply to the rich. How many rich and affluent have been executed compared to the poor and middle class?

There is no evidence that the death penalty reduces crime rates. In fact, there is some suggestion that it actually increases some categories of murder. Specifically, a person who has killed, knowing that they face the death penalty, is far more likely to kill again; crime witness, bystanders, or police, to avoid capture.

Lastly, in the past there have been many cases in the West, particularly in the U.S. where crime offenders were erroneously executed due to a flawed judiciary system but which they later found out they were innocent of the crime to which they were murdered for. How do one bring them back to life?

Although drug offenders in Indonesia and other Southeast Asia countries were cognizable of the death penalty for their crime in these countries and shouldn't have venture into trafficking drugs there but still the capital punishment is a barbaric act. One commit murder they get jail term but traffic drugs they are executed. Says much about their judiciary system and laws.
Have you considered that more often than not people who commit murder have to be under the influence of hard drugs ?

A drug pusher is a death merchant who provides people access to hard drugs that deadens conscience of a man to allow such individual maim, rape and kill with ease.

A drug pusher provides people access to hard drugs that is addictive and turn people mad, and they spend the rest of their lives in a rehabilitation process.

funny enough, I think death penalty is better than life imprisonment. why put a mans life in a confine, let him go and rest. I do not blame the Indonesians, kudos to them for observing their laws to the letter. Many criminals can not muster the courage to kill if they had no access to hard drugs. any drug pusher is a death merchant, so when caught, putting those kind of people to death is quite justified

Its very sweet when you date a rich (upwardly moving career) babe, you might even enjoy her in the early years of marriage, but by the time her financial ego matures(and you are still not well placed)you will definitely see yourself battling with an inferiority complex that you were neither born or brought up with, especially if she happens not to have come from a very rich background...The only antidote for such a man is to pipe low BUT do not give up to ur financial situation....... (Then you will appreciate the word of the elders).

Well in reference to the Op case, the Lady might start viewing the relationship as a parasitic one, and trouble looms. it is either the man is actually parasitic or the lady perceives him rightly or wrongly to be parasitic to the relationship.

For a man whose spouse is doing way better of on the economic cadre, what will he be bringing to the table of such relationship so as not to be parasitic or APPEAR parasitic to the woman.? In trying to contribute to the relationship, will he be ready to do things that the Nigerian society considers not a man role in a family, like baby sitting, cooking for the home on regular basis, taking directives from her economical superior wife. When some men considers this, they footdrag about going in to serious relationship with a woman with a very higher economic level deviance to them.

Sincerely speaking, my Nigerian brothers are falling my hands big time!!!

Often times, I hear people (including the male folks!) Saying 'young women that are successful in their respective careers and probably drive cars are no-go area!' That's a huge sign of inferiority complex and an exhibition of shallow mentality! wink

Is it really an exclusive right for men only to be successful and own cars? Why do we have young women schooling or learning a trade? Is it not to be successful in their chosen careers? Do we expect these women to subject themselves to lack and poverty?

Today, most Nigerian ladies who are successful and unmarried are normally seen as a no-go area for men. They label such women as disrespectful and not submissive under wrong assumptions! This clearly shows a poor mentality of the male folks!!!

Nigerian guys need to live above this poor mentality and accept the fact that becoming successful is not an exclusive right of the male folks...success is all encompassing and can be attained by anyone, irrespective of gender!

Please, feel free to share your views.

Peace! cheesy
maybe, because they are technically inferior. Every human being has an area (s)he is inferior, but in a mutual relationship of any form, the supposedly superior partner must handle that aspect deftly, so as not to appear (s)he is rubbing it in, and the supposedly inferior partner must keep his/her head high and not bow heads like been defeated. once both partners handle its responsibilities well, there should be no problem, but in human relationships, such expectations is somewhat ideal, as what obtains is that at least one of the partners fails to keep a part of the responsibility it ought to keep in such relationship, and then such relationship holds no ground.

The successful career woman might also feel inferior around her age mates who have what she doesn't have like a caring and loving husband with lovely kids.

How people tell a lie to themselves, and believe their lies strongly amuses me.
One thing is clear, the SE are parasites, as they see one host is gradually rejecting them , they are seeking another one. They have coyishly dished biafra, because biafra died in 1970, when Ojukwu fled to Abidjan'

when people talk about biafra in 2015, i always want to know which biafra, the defunct biafra of 1970, or the one only on the head of some deluded minds.

If you want biafra or lower niger so badly, stay put on the land, and those outside should go back to biafra, it is madness to say you want biafra and they wont let you go, while you keep boarding Ifesinachi & Young shall grow bus relocating enmasse to Lagos and other parts outside your biafra.

HEDIOT , what does SW give to Nigeria, and it seems you dont know SE's oil also goes to Nigeria purse
. dunce, available statistics shows that what SE receives as FG allocation is more than the sum total of what it contributes, the 2 regional exceptions of the 6 regions are Sw and Ss.
SE oil production is close to negligible, on verifiable fact, what Ondo produces as crude oil surpasses the total Se oil production from abia & IMO.

A lot of you who have never been out of your regions don't know that only South West and North benefit from the FG....the other regions don't

And you actually believe this bullocks you wrote ? common stop this ! the south east receive fg allocation used to pay civil servants, build roads e.t.c in the SE, and i repeat wht the SE contributes to FG purse is less than what it receives, Your people love to boasts about IMAGINARY achievements, i see the SE folks boasts about a phantom oil, but the verifiable fact is that the volume of oil produced in Imo + Abia crude oil is a fraction of what Ondo state in SW produces. Let the SE stop receiving FG allocation na since there is no government, make we see how far.
